Just wanted to update as I forgot to mention one more thing (and also- sorry for all the typos- hope you understand). I am a medical patient which is why I had to go through doctors to get my recommendation. I have ailments that I use my medications for. The doctors agreed that my ailments are causing me pain on a daily basis which is why I need my medication and was given the recommendation from my doctors for my state medical card. As a patient with life long ailments, the way I was treated was absolutely horrible and unethical. Being told I am no longer welcome to Mr. Councilmen Ned Davis' store as a medical patient with life long ailments is very insulting, disheartening, unethical and overall unprofessional. The other owner Patrick was eventually included in the emails, and said absolutely nothing about this entire ordeal. I will update once there is more. read more

This review is for Legendary Organics Oxnard, which I have had the pleasure of making my new weed connect since the hubby and I moved in February 2025. First, I want to talk about their loyalty program, which offers 1 point for every $1 spent. If you are a smoker like me, these points can add up quickly! I just used some of my points to get $25 off my last purchase! That's $25 free money! The other reason I think Legendary O in Oxnard is one of the best dispensaries around, is the people who work there. I've been greeted with a smile by the reception desk each time I've been to the dispensary. The reception area is clean, and with a security officer always on duty, it feels safe. I don't think I've ever waited longer than a few minutes till it's my turn to enter the main atrium, where I can check out the goods. You'll notice the atrium is clean, well-lit, and organized, upon entering. The staff is very knowledgeable about the different products and strains that they offer, and will take the time to explain what the different products are, if you so wish. Usually, I'm asked how much I'm looking to spend, and then I'm shown what the best bang for my buck is, which I can't appreciate more. Right up to the moment you check out, I've been reminded of any discounts I still have available to me, thus saving me money, and leaving me feeling like I got the best deal I can get. The last point I want to make, and maybe the most important, is the incredible selection Legendary O has! With the most competitive prices I've seen yet, on some of the best products I've purchased. With 1g cartridges costing as little as $12. The ongoing daily specials on chosen products, can knock up to 50% off the price before you've even been rung up, and who doesn't like that? I am located where I can choose between about 5-6 storefront dispensaries, all of them located about 20-25 miles from me. I' have been a semi customer for over a year now. I live in Camarillo and usually go over the grade to Leaf. The vibe and the friends I've had the pleasure of meeting has been amazing. The only reason I would stop by Legendary is out of convenience, as it's closer to home and on my way home from work. Legendarys staff is has been great at times and seemingly anxious and short at other times. I'm very disappointed that I was recently treated badly by an employee that I thought liked me and wanted to help me. I would rather drive further to Leaf in Newbury Park than experience another buzz kill at Legendary. read more

I only started using cannabis this month. So it's been a quick journey of figuring out what works and where I feel comfortable shopping. So far, I have only visited Leaf and Legendary Organics in Newbury Park multiple times. Legendary is my preferred place. Leaf, nothing negative happened there, but the difference is I just feel more open here, and the prices are lower on things. I can have a lot of anxiety in new situations, so that's a biggie if I feel walking in, a sense of peace. Now, having visited both locations, I think I can give my best review. Upbeat, enthusiastic, and engaging employees always. I have had wonderful conversations each time, where I feel welcomed, heard, and cared for. I can't really think of many places that I feel like I do when I walk out of here. It reminds me of the community of a place like an old arcade or comic book shop. I have plenty of stash, but I feel if I am nearby, I just want to come by for a bit more. Highly rewarding! When you sign up, you get 4 discounts(at this location) for your first 4 visits. Also, you get 3 discounted visits at the other location separate to this one and share ongoing points between. So since I had used those at the other one, here I am due for three more discounted visits. Groovy, huh? Plus, daily deals on particular products (some different stuff at each store), which today coincidentally I was going in for the Heavy Hitters brand and on Mondays they are on sale. This place is horrible. The hospitality I received from the budtender named Tina was extremely horrific I had no knowledge of what I was about to consume, and when I respectfully asked to be educated she did not provide me with the proper education by making me feel uncomfortable like if I was being a burden by asking questions. Our hard earned money is the reason why they have a job and we, as customers should not be treated with disrespect. When I was fully positive that she did not want to assist me I moved onto the next budtender and unfortunately, I received the same treatment unwilling or better said unmotivated to help me and pressured me to just choose a item and be on my way. These employees need to understand their position and have great customer service. They are selfish and only care about getting a tip showing no consideration for us customers trying to get high. We just wanna smoke and have a good time without having any weird side effects or bad trips. read more

I visited for my second time yesterday and it was not the same experience from the first time. The girl who assisted me was really helpful and nice, however the other girl there was very rude and expressive about it towards the gentleman in the lobby because i checked in with passport instead of my ID this time. She made coments in spanish which were very inappropriate to say especially in front of customers. Very unprofessional imo and left me speechless.
