Very chill experience here, I was greeted right away and the budtender helped me pick out a couple pre rolls and some gummies. I took advantage of the Tuesday special brands and only ended up paying $30. Only after I had picked out my items and was ready to check out that I was told there was no card option and I would have to pay in cash. They have an atm, which of course charges a $3 fee. So not a great down vote for the Artist Tree. got to the 200 pt rewards level and it stated $10.00 off a online order. I picked up my order and noticed no discount. Called and was told that i needed to order through the app so no $10 discount. Last month my partner placed a order for a 30% discount. She rarely goes out so her trips are very valuable. She got home and noticed no discount. She called and was told since she did not mention the discount it would not be applied. There are plenty of dispensaries to compete with and we will not be going back to the Oxnard location or any location at all. Over the last few months it seems like something has changed and they, the staff, are very quick to say no over pretty trivial "yes" situations. So buyer beware. the staff is quick on the "deny" button. They can be better. read more

This is a beautiful, bright dispensary with a large variety of products. I loved everything about it, from the artwork on the walls to the black and white T-shirts. Everything is attractively displayed. I like being able to pick up packaged products, like edibles, and read the labels. The flowers are plentiful and visible as well. A hostess/host is with you to answer questions and records your desired items via laptop. The order is processed in another room, another employee reviews it with you for accuracy and completeness. Pay attention, nobody is perfect. They have specials every day of the week and we took advantage of them. The customer service was over the top. The staff were polite, helpful and friendly. (ZERO STARS) Ordered online as a first time customer and was given 50% off or so I thought. I ordered at 3:30p and never got a "order ready for pick up" so I went in around 8:30p to see if it was ready and sure enough it was sitting there ready to go, however once he inputted all the items my total was $66, when I asked the budtender why it is not giving me the 50% off he was completely lost (prob stoned) and didn't know what to do, so he asked a nearby coworker who simply said "oh it doesn't work like that" what do you mean it doesn't work like that? That's what your online ordering system says so I don't get why they can't honor what online says. They didn't care to even help me out or see what they can do to fix the situation. Several times lately, I've purchased Lime prerolls that did not burn properly. The first half of the preroll would burn, and then the latter half would not. Today, I opened up another one, the 4th one with green or wet flowers in the bottom half of the pre-roll. I've been smoking since my Berkeley days in the late 60's, and never have I seen such bunk. And it's overpriced. And cannot be returned. A dealer would be out of business. But these guys skate. This is lately. Earlier in the year the product was good. When I walked in the first thing I noticed was there was no guard posted. Whenever I've visited any other dispensaries, that's the first thing you notice. The receptionist was nice and pleasant. After she checked me in, she was the one who escorted me in. Next, a sales clerk comes to greet me. I place my order and away she went. I didn't know what was happening, but she appears shortly thereafter announcing at the door something about the missing guard! Next as if that wasn't enough, the cashier short changes me. I rarely pay by cash but at these dispensaries, you have to or endure the surcharges. It's bad enough we have to pay all the fees on top of the product and then those card fees too. The cashier hands me my change in dollars only. I soon realize the change part is missing. No words are exchanged on her part which forced me to count my change to see what was missing. I then ask where the change was at or was I donating it somehow. I had already left a tip so more than that I was concerned. The cashier says I gave you an extra dollar it isn't there? I counted it again and no it wasn't. This alone is strange because if she would've given me an extra dollar, then she was short changing the store. This never a good thing to do from ANY cashier at any store! The cashier finally broke open a roll of nickels and offered me the change in nickels which I accepted. I was never thanked and none of the associates said goodbye, not even the guard who returned by then nor the receptionist. Also, I almost forgot my purchase as they had moved it to the other side of the register! There are so many dispensaries that I could've gone to but I was trying to give my business to the city I grew up in was high on my list. That said, I won't be returning. read more

While I was talking to and helping out the great people promoting their products at the Opening of this dispensary, Like Kyle at 710 OILS or Dane at Wtf is a CANN? Its a great drink btw. So I had some trash and nowhere to put it. I was hungry a little high and I wanted a taco. Guess what? I couldn't buy one, they said I needed a ticket. Hmmm So I asked Ryan how to get a ticket for a taco, he said "You have to spend 50 dollars or more on products inside to get a taco". Well damn. So that sucked. Then later after talking to a wonderful artist and human being Jonathan Luna, I suggested to Ryan that there should be a trash can out here for people to put their trash in. People always have trash. He said " I have a dumpster out back there. " pointing to the alleyway. Damn strike 2 and no Balls!!! That's like someone asking to use my bathroom and I tell them there's a septic tank out back. Wtf Is a CANN? ( you're welcome Dane . That's why 2 stars. The store will be fine, but I personally will never go there again. As long as he manages it anyway. I moved to the area recently and chose The Artist Tree among the area dispensaries. I made a very good call. The folks who work here are excellent, they're super friendly, welcoming, compassionate, and professional. The products they carry are top notch. There is a huge selection to choose from, no matter what you prefer, flower, prerolls, vapes, edibles, there is something for everyone's preference. I saw a recent negative 1-star review below. She must've bean having a bad day. She might need to adjust her life lens and try again. That is nowheres near what I've experienced at the Artist Tree. Nothing like that even remotely. read more

The first time I visited I was quoted a deal and when I left I checked my receipt and realized they overcharged me almost $20. Went back in and they rectified it. Cool. No problem. Everyone makes mistakes. Second and the last time I will visit this dispensary I came in asking for the cheapest indica. I don't need anything high quality or fancy at all. I'm really low tolerance so the cheap stuff is cool with me unless I want to splurge. Has nothing to do with budget constraints, but there's no need for me to get the expensive stuff at all. The bud tender immediately showed me strains nowhere near the lowest cost option. I was shown a particular brand as if that was my only option and it seemed as if I had no other option. I remember the previous time I went I saw other brands far lower in price. I mentioned it, and then was taken to a different section where the prices were like a quarter of what I was shown and then was shown strains still not a low cost option. I had to go to the section myself behind where I was shown. A good bud tender will listen to your needs and deliver. I don't care for being sold to, and this is one of those obnoxious places where you can't look around and shop for what you want yourself. You have someone following you around the entire time and I always feel rushed in places like this. I like to browse around for a few mins and make the decisions myself. I always tip my bud tenders, regardless of service given, and this dispensary just really isn't for me. Too much sales pressure and that's something I cannot stand in a dispensary. read more
