The anger that Dante conveyed upon hearing she had blown that many guys is the anger I feel from waiting for what seems like an eternity at the bus stop! It sucks that I work all the way on Bay St. in the Fisherman's Wharf area...And late night shifts get me all worked up because of the simple fact that I HATE WAITING FOR YOU TO SHOW UP!!! It takes you an hour to show!!! What the hell??? You're lucky that there are a couple of bars here where I can get a couple of drinks to calm me down...Sometimes you're on time. But most of the time, you're late!!! But I gave you 3 stars. Because when you DO decide to show up, you get me back to the Sunset on the corner of 19th. and Taraval super fast. The main advantage of working late is hardly anyone is on the bus that late at night and the bus almost never stops. Flying through stops like a bat out of hell. If you're unlucky and was sitting down, the bus will zoom right past you without even looking back. That's why you should never sit down when waiting for a bus. Stand up and be seen. Getting me close to home is a good thing in anyones book and I greatly appreciate it. But you still piss me off from time to time. There, I feel somewhat better. You're not the only one that knows how to get me all riled up. Your other brothers will get an earful from me very shortly. You've been warned!!!

At this point, SFMTA has failed its communities in all aspects. From my experience, I will demonstrate how employees treated me, and the results of my commute. Experience #1: I lost my clipper card, and I asked one of the employees at the information booth how to operate it the app. Many of the workers do not don't know! Others gave me wrong information. Experience #2: I was appalled about how the Transit Fare Inspector treated me. Badge #F65, Eugene Bulkin labled me as difficult for not showing my ID. I was honest, and cooperative in this type of situation. To look superior, he forcefully made me find my ID in my fanny pak after mentioning, losing ID at the bar. He also threatened me to call dispatch. Lastly, he went through my bag by peeking that he saw my ID. Besides, trying to sound superior and attempting to degrade passengers/tourist, the worst part is that he embarrassed me by telling my rides at other transit agencies! Bulkin, becareful who you are talking to with that attitude of yours. You will get the person that will make you learn a lesson.

One day I found this out when there was some traffic accident on Sunset (before Taraval) which was causing the 29 to be shut down for a hour or so until the accident was cleared. And I personally hate the 28 with all my soul, so I was stuck. There wasn't an M coming for another 15 mins or so, but then i looked up the street and saw a 17 coming my way. And it's header said West Portal, alright i told myself, lets get on this bus. And when I did I was amazed to find that no one else did. i shit you not I had this bus completely to myself. We made a couple loops through Park Merced (laaaaaame, but totally awesome if you lived there) and afte ronly about not even 10 minutes, I found myself right at the front of West Portal Station. And what was just peaking it's beautiful head out from that tunnel? A L MUNI!! Ellated I ran to catch my beloved L and head on home. Def a good call in a pinch.

I've been rip-roarin' to write a scathing two-star review of the 6-Hayes/Parnassus, mainly because…read moreI was so angry that Muni not only eliminated my beloved 21-Hayes but also ruined more of the fabric of east-west bus routes by combining the eastern potion of the 21's old route with the western portion of the old 6-Haight/Parnassus's route. So only one bus to catch on Haight Street at Divisadero. And since the already truncated 21's route was so pathetically short and not useful since they messed with it after COVID, what's the point of this now? And then the bus line actually came, and it's actually ridiculously convenient for me, much more convenient than the old 6 used to be. I still have my issues with it. The main one is for my Hayes Street neighbors who live west of Masonic Avenue. How do they catch the bus now? They either have to walk all the way to Stanyan Street and wait forever for a not terribly useful 33-Ashbury/18th Street, or they have to walk uphill to the 5-Fulton. That's poor planning, especially for people with limited mobility who have trouble traversing steep hills. The entire point of a bus on Hayes Street is that between Stanyan and Scott Streets, it's more or less flat--or at least as flat as a half-mile in San Francisco can realistically be. But another thing happened when they killed my line and moved the 6 over to my street; I can now ride the bus almost doorstep to doorstep both to the Upper Haight and to my brother's house. That has been super useful to me--maybe even too useful, because when I'm lazy, I sometimes take the bus to Free Gold Watch instead of doing my normal walk through the Panhandle, which is better for my health, although sometimes not for my bottomless irritation with my fellow San Franciscans. I still want to rage against the dying of the light--the light in this case being a familiar old bus line--but I would be lying if I said that this change hasn't been useful to me personally. Muni could actually solve most of this problem by having either the 6 or the 7 stay on Stanyan and then turn onto Hayes (which ends at Stanyan) and stay on that street until it turns wherever Downtown. But that would make too much sense, and the SFMTA is too busy spending its money painting huge red zones all over the city to do what's right for local bus riders and drivers alike. This should be a three-star review, but the added convenience is worth at least a Yelp star.

If you're looking for a company that understands customer service, this is not it…read more We booked a full-day Napa Valley tour for 10 people, departing from San Francisco on a Sunday last month. Unfortunately, the experience was stressful from the start. After booking, communication was extremely poor. Email responses were slow, often taking days. We became concerned after reading Yelp reviews mentioning no-shows, lateness, and poor service, and sadly, those concerns proved valid. Even receiving something as basic as our payment receipt, especially since they don't accept credit cards, took over a week. Confirming our itinerary and driver details also required repeated follow-up and wasn't finalized until just days before the trip. We clearly communicated that punctuality was critical because we had prepaid tours and luncheon reservations at a winery. When we finally spoke with the owner, we were assured everything would be fine. It wasn't. Our scheduled pickup time was 10:00 AM. By 10:15, no one had arrived. Calls to both the owner and driver went unanswered. By 10:30, with no communication at all, our group was understandably very worried. Eventually, we tracked down an assistant who had previously sent our receipt. She answered, apologized, and promised to investigate. The driver later called and said he'd arrive in 10-15 minutes. That turned into another 30+ minutes, followed by additional delays. In total, the driver arrived about 90 minutes late. As a result, we missed our first winery stop entirely. What was most frustrating was not just the lateness, but the complete lack of proactive communication. No warning. No ETA updates. No accountability. We were simply left waiting and wondering if anyone was coming at all. If your plans depend on reliability, professionalism, and being on time, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This company caused unnecessary stress and significantly disrupted what should have been a special day.
