My husband and I are trying three different food delivery companies over this month. Each company we have food delivery for one week lunch and dinner for myself and my husband. I'm doing this to lose weight and my husband's doing it to maintain maybe lose a couple of pounds but nothing major. That' is consistent with all the other companies we are trying. I make our breakfast and we would eat just their lunch and dinner. This was the only company out of the three that I did not lose any weight the whole week. Because me and my husband got the exact same food, we weighed the meals and sometimes there was a huge difference in the weight of the meal, but the calories are the same You do not get to pick any food on this plan although you do get to pick some dislikes and other than that you getting what they give. They state that it' is an organic farm, so you will get local and fresh. I found their meat to be very chewy. And their vegetables were not cooked or severely undercooked. I like my vegetables al dente and I had to put the spaghetti squash in the microwave for six minutes just to get it a decent texture. Also, the first day we had broccoli rabe or broccolini, and it was literally raw and not good. Their broccoli was very under cooked as well. Plan on cooking the veggies most of the time separate from the meat due to veggies being pretty raw. So if you want to eat organic food, that's grown local - so they claim, this might be a good way for you to go. I found the food macros to be off significantly and no consistency in the meals. They also say they only get local or wild caught, and one dinner they had salmon. It was not sockeye salmon, nor did they state where the salmon came from or what type it was Out of the three meal companies that we tried, this one was the worst. They delivered a little after midnight and they do not put an ice pack in the bottom of the bag, just on top which was thawed by the time my husband woke up to get the bag at 5am. read more

Got this meal service for 3 weeks. What I really like about them is that the ingredients are organic for the most part and the whole farm to table aspect is really cool. The meals are hit or miss in terms of flavor. They're all pretty basic, don't expect any big thrills from the food, it's clean and simple. Some are flavorsome (particularly the meat) but others can be a little bland and dry. However if you want to eat "clean" and control your portion size it's pretty good. The delivery is usually for us around 9pm (we're close to the Gables) which is convenient because we can grab the food before going to sleep instead of leaving it out all night. I like that you get 2 deliveries per week for 10 meals. The biggest pro for me is that the food is really fresh and doesn't taste re-heated even when you do re-heat it. I can't stand the taste of re-heated meat which is why I have trouble using ready made meal delivery services but Munch Thyme definitely doesn't have that problem. The meat always tastes moist and fresh. Cons: - You can't choose meals or even know what the meals for the week will be and the amount of ingredients you can choose to skip are minimal. - Portion sizes are small and calorie intake is pretty low for most meals. If you're someone who is very active like me these meals are not enough. If you're trying to lose weight or don't move much it's ok. - Amount of veggies is very small. Sometimes you get 2-3 asparagus spears and a third of a small tomato or 2-3 cherry tomatoes. For a healthy eating meal plan I'd expect the veggie portion to be bigger which is disappointing because I feel like I barely constitutes a full serving Overall based on convenience and freshness I will give it 4 stars but 3 for everything else as for me the cons are pretty significant. It's a good option if you're strapped for time but want to eat clean and fresh food and you don't dislike too many foods. If you're looking for very tasty, indulgent food or to have more dietary options or control over meals you won't find it here. read more

Munch Thyme is a spectacular service and am so happy to have stumbled upon them. The owner and all the employees have been super quick in responding to anything and make sure you're happy with everything. I have tried other meal services and if you're hesitant because you have, too...this is not the same thing, I assure you. Even though you don't have the option to pick out the meals yourself, they are delicious every single time and I actually really enjoy the surprise since I now fully trust that the food will be good. The only time I haven't liked something (and it was maybe just once or twice over the span of months) was more of a taste-preference versus anything wrong with the meal. The meals have kept me on track when I was neck deep in work and are not just the average rice, broccoli, dry chicken that you eat because it's food with zero emotional enjoyment. The recipes are delicious, inventive, always super fresh and never overly salted so it really does taste like a nutritious home-cooked meal. Plus, you have the option for paleo and they are really awesome about it being filling despite the lack of traditional carbs. The only con I can think of is that you may have a shorter lunch break because people WILL stop and bug you about the food you're eating and comment on how good it smells/looks :) I can only hope that they keep doing what they're doing because they are 100% the best meal-prep service I have tried in South Florida. read more

It feels like having a personal chef. The food is simply delicious, so far we have enjoyed every single meal, no complaints or dislikes. I used Munch Thyme for two months while I was working at Homestead ARB. I got the traditional meals with double protein and I have to say all the meals were super healthy, delicious, and fresh. I picked up my meals twice a week since I was staying on base and they were always accommodating if I needed to pick up outside of their normal hours. They were also very responsive to any questions I had, I emailed them several times with questions and requests and always received a reply within a few hours. I've used other food services in the past that were shipped frozen...they can't compare to the Munch Thyme meals. I'll be using their service again in the future next time I'm in town. Hands down the best meal delivery service in Miami, Ive tried all the big companies and nothing comes remotely close to these guys. Not only is it a combination of an art and science to be able to produce amazingly tasting food but doing so within macro nutrients that are low carb, low calorie is practically impossible. I found Munch Thyme through a friend of my husbands.... I honestly can't say enough about how much they have influenced and helped my life. Very long story... Tried to be kept short, I've been suffering with spine problems since 2008.... 3 surgeries later, countless pain blocks.... On going complications... In a nutshell it has been beyond difficult. I have started many delivery meal services where they dress up ground beef in various ways and make meals that I can make myself. Munch Thyme is not that delivery meal service! Meals are always different and always delicious! I have been struggling with losing baby weight and been on their meal plan for three weeks. I have lost 10 pounds while my husband has lost 12. I've been trying to eat healthier, I have a hectic work schedule that does not provide me adequate time to make dinner, Munch Thyme comes to the rescue!
