The chicken and sausage received proper seasoning while the sweet plantains brought everything together to create a perfect dining experience. The long wait for a table and subsequent delay for table cleaning did not spoil the excellent dining experience when the food arrived. The exceptional meat quality at this restaurant would make me return immediately. 9/10. The meals were delivered directly to my door in two cooler bags with ice blocks, and the packaging kept everything properly chilled. A major reason I chose Jet Fuel Meals is the flexibility with dietary restrictions. Jesse was incredibly helpful throughout the process and took the time to understand all of my food allergies, intolerances, and preferences. I was especially impressed by the ability to remove specific ingredients such as gluten, dairy, onions, certain vegetables, beef, and other foods I avoid. I haven't found many meal delivery services that offer this level of customization. The portions are also substantial--the containers are packed generously, which makes the meals look like they'll be very satisfying. My first impression of Jet Fuel Meals has been excellent.

These guys are partially responsible for why I seem to have less restaurant reviews lol!…read more My New Year's resolution of learning to cook is coming along a little slower than expected, and I sometimes felt run down at the gym. One of the coaches recommended Jet Fuel Meals and I decided to give them a try. They give you two free meals as an introductory offer; I liked them and subscribed. I spoke to Irvin and discussed my goals (strength gain) as well as limitations (seafood allergy) as well as the fact I usually skip breakfast. Their delivery is at my door three times a week before I leave for work. I've enjoyed a tasty variety, including properly portion, lasagna, turkey, ground beef, and Mexican dishes. The labels also provide nutrition information and macros, and the food is well seasoned. Prices are comparable to groceries as well as the time value of money I would otherwise spend cooking.

I've had my share of Chinese food around the country. For Chinese takeout, this is some of the best quality I have ever had! The hot and sour soup is truly spicy with a good amount of tofu, mushroom, bean sprouts, an egg. I legitimately have no complaints at all about the suit. The fried rice is actually fried and not soggy. It has a very good flavor. The roasted pork also is seasoned and not just thrown in willy-nilly. I am very, very impressed with this takeout service. Also, the proportion sides are good. My one grip is that the vegetables with pan fried noodles came in a very thin sauce. Usually, I'm accustomed to a thicker sauce that would coat the noodles rather than drown it like a broth. Don't get me wrong, this is my no means an authentic Chinese restaurant. If you were looking for authentic Szechuan dishes, hot pot, etc., then you will be disappointed. However, the execution and qualities is very good. Nevertheless, I know where to go for Chinese takeout in the future. Cannot wait to try other dishes!

Now let's talk yummies: it was great! At first I was shocked it had spice, not too much, but you do feel the hint of spice. The zucchini tasted great mixed with the ground turkey and mozzarella cheese on top. Next lunch break I will order from there once again and try something different to see if it is as good as this meal!

"Bro, there's healthy food in Hialeah.!"…read more "Que no." No, QUINOA! I noticed Quinoa Corner on Hialeah Drive from driving by, as well as yelp photos from one of the original healthy yelpers so now that I've been serious on my fitness I decided to give it a try. A grain with about 40 fewer calories and twice the protein of rice, Quinoa lets you enjoy your favorite rice and pasta dishes while still being healthy. Their menu consists of comfort staples like chicken and rice, or pancakes, but with quinoa instead. They have a fridge with freshly-made items off their menu (made for the day until they run out) and believe they can custom make an order upon request. It's a family run shop, and they took the time to go over their menu and nutritional facts. They also have a printout of calories, proteins and carbs for you to track your meal. My lunch consisted of their Thai Chicken Quinoa Bowl, consisting of well packed grains, fresh leaves, red peppers and spicy chicken & sauce. (Yes, healthy doesn't have to mean bland!) It was literally my second time trying quinoa and I loved it. Right now they're only open during lunchtime Monday to Saturday, and it's only for takeout / delivery. The owner did say they're planning to expand to have some dine-in space in around a year. More importantly, they plan to keep it in Hialeah! I can see that 5th star coming soon.
