The food was so great that I immediately upgraded to monthly subscription. I have love every meal and especially breakfast. OMG delicious! Food gets delivered every 2 days so it's always fresh. As I don't eat pork...It became quite tiresome after calling the company 5 times to let them know there was pork in my meals weekly and Sometimes I wouldn't receive my meals on Sundays for next day. Gave them a chance. This past Sunday, which would have been our second week never showed. We called and were told Since it sounded like we were disappointed (on monday - when we called about the first delivery issue) on the phone he took it upon himself to cancel our meal plan for the following week. After the call ended, I decided to check on my account I realized I was charged twice for the same week on 9/10 and 9/13 -- to start on the 16th which never showed! For those times when I'm either: 1 - too lazy to get cooking in the kitchen, 2 - find it too time consuming to think up new savory meals, or 3 - just need someone else to calorie count for me goddamnit Befit has been awesome lol. My friend and I are doing the Slim lunch and dinner portions for the hell of it, and it's been great. Food is tasty, AND you can list out a few things you don't like (i.e., if you're picky and hate cilantro, like me!). Each lunch is about 400-500 cals, and the dinner is about 300-400 cals. I make my own breakfast and have a snack throughout the day, on top of those meals, and I'm satisified. :) NOTE: You can start/cancel a week's set of meals up until the prior Wednesday. So, if you want to start (or cancel) next week, get your order in by end of day Wednesday. They're extremely accommodating, and their customer service is lovely. After my first week, they checked in with me. I'd had one meal that seemed a bit off, but wasn't planning to mention it until they called to check in. When I did, they apologized and were happy to send over one of their breakfasts for me to try (which was delicious, btw). I've been receiving lunch/dinner for 2 months now. I really enjoy the way foods are prepared and served, for the most part. The seasoning is a bit repetitive after a while, who's isn't?. I eat all of it cold, because I hate reheated food, and still find it enjoyable, and then there is the ease of not having to defrost, cook, etc.... it's a time saver!!! Honestly I'm super disappointed in having to write this review because the food in itself was really tasty and good portioned however the customer service not so much. After looking through review in Yelp I decided to go with this company as I have a newborn and two small children and spending time in the kitchen was not my priority. I went online and signed up for a week of meals I got an email reiterating I would receive meals for a week only if I wanted to make it a permanent arrangement to email or call them after the week of loving the meals I email and said I wanted to continue I got a reply back from Marco Rodriguez acknowledging it and saying thank you this was 07/01. The following week I missed a call the voicemail said they had questions about my meal plan I called back and left a voicemail didn't hear from anyone, I called again like 3 days later someone answer I explained what happened he said he would relay my message nobody ever called me back and I never received any meals after the initial first week meals. The meals are delicious - seriously I get excited to open the bag every night and see what it is.
