This place is so dirty and is supposed to be an ER. The seats were filthy and so was the floor. I didn't realize cleaning has come to a halt all of a sudden. They also called ten people before calling my brother back who had a bunch of wounds from an animal attack. Wouldn't recommend. read more

I had taken my fiance in for an injured foot at 12- something in the morning bc we believed it was broken. And as I am writing this review, 3 hrs still waiting for any kind of information, it takes us asking 3 doctors and a receptionist (who should definitely deserve a raise bc of how helpful she was compared to all other doctors) to figure out where we were with our progress. I kept being told that patients were seen due to their severity to injury- there was hardly anyone here when we got here. And as we are waiting these long 3 hours for a stupid xray, people are coming and going. We both kind of feel ignored by the doctors here (not including that sweet receptionist!) read more

I made a visit here a week ago. Excellent. Went for a heart issue and the treatment from everyone wa a topnotch. Extremely thorough. All my concerns were addressed and out of there in 2 hours. I went here in February when I twisted my back and could barely walk. I was checked in (nurse that checked me in was great). There were no rooms so I got to sit in the hallway in a chair for 2 hours. I was next to the nurses station and they were busy gossiping about their camping trips and their patients so I guess I'm not high priority. Even though I can barely walk but I brought myself in because I was no one else to care for me and I cannot afford an ambulance. I wanted to get a shit to relax my muscles so I could sleep. My muscles spasms at night for 2 days were taking its toll on me. Finally after 2 hours Tyler comes over and asks me questions pertaining to drug use. I guess they are checking to make sure I'm not an addict. The nurse comes by maybe 15 minutes later and gives me a shot and my prescription for muscle relaxers. I understand the shot costs money my insurance may not cover but you send me a bill for Over 4000.00 dollars for sitting in a hallway for 2 hours. My insurance only paid 3000.00. I don't have the extra money to pay this. I sent what I could and was still sent to collections. I hope I never have to go to this hospital ever again. The CT scan for my kidney stones cost less than this bill for sitting in a hallway to get an 85.00 shot. I didn't even see a doctor. I guess it costs 4000.00 to talk to a physician assistant to get a prescription. read more

I took in my 8 month daughter on December 9 for a fever and throw up her milk the doctor check her ears told me everything was fine that she was sick video record everything he was saying guess it's a new thing happening now where it's easier to put it in my chart I asked for a lab work they did a swab then the nurse came back told me he didn't need it but just did it in case they would need it I asked for a other doctor but he was the only one that morning I took her in left home not able to sleep all night thinking that she would throw up in her sleep so the next day she threw up again and had a fever I took to sunrise they check her ears told me she had an ear infection and did an x-ray until the next day on Thursday I looked at her lab test and she had RSV which this hospital could've told me ahead of time before gotten worse and she was breathing very fast so I took her to Mary bridge missed out work and stayed until Thursday and Saturday then they let her go home Sunday morning I was very upset that I had to figure out what she had an a mother doing it by myself while her father live very far I have to do everything in my power to make sure she doesn't get RSV again because it's a very serious matter read more

I figured I would leave a review after my experience, I completely understand Everyone has a different experiences, but I'm super pleased with mine. I had been sick for a while thought maybe I now have strep or a virus and it got to the point where I needed to be seen when and was checked in immediately got a strep test done. I was sat in the hallway on the bench for about an hour, hour and a half, which of course I didn't mind. I could see everyone was super busy and I knew that I wasn't crazy high priority. There was a very nice nurse with blonde hair who wasn't even assisting me, but made the time to ask me if I would like a blanket, which was very kind of her Then I had my nurse come by I believe his last name was something along the lines of smudge I'm sure I completely got that wrong so so sorry, but he was very kind very helpful very informative. After giving me medication. He had cleaned up a room and let me to lay on the bed for a little bit when he didn't have to because I was only there for a little bit longer, but I was very kind of him. My doctor, Dr. Da Pra was extremely kind. She apologize for the long wait even though she did not have to. She made sure to see if I had any questions went over all possibilities with me set me up to make sure I'd be feeling better by the next day and I absolutely am. She was such a kind doctor. The nursing staff was all extremely kind. The front desk staff was extremely kind. The lady who had checked me in also extremely kind. I feel like it's sometimes hard to find staff when it comes to medical facilities that are kind and I was very grateful to have an amazing experience at this place. read more

So I am quite displeased with multicare to begin with. I was prescribed a med, to which I had a reaction. I called my doctor and was given to a "nurse" who read from a book page by page asking me questions and would literally say " if yes to then go to page " and then proceed with question after question. Then read to me the recommendation which in my case was apparnetly to call 911 and wait for an abulance. WHO THE HELL CAN AFFORD AN AMBULANCE RIDE?? So she tells me to lay on my floor unlock the door and wait- forget that. So I had my partner take me to the New ER. They were friendly and fast and I was seen pretty quick- total round trip was 4 hours. in out and bag of liquids. I ented with 190/113 BP and I left with 180/110 BP and was told if i feel worse to come back but that everything looked ok. 3k Medical bill for a ER visit that did nothing, and my Doctor had to see me anyways. Only to tell me no clue maybe a reaction to one of the meds etc. Multicare has a way of creating more business for itself and not repairing the damage it does without wracking up masive debt for the patient. read more

THE WORST PLACE for care. The service was quick but a bit too quick. It seemed more like the RN was guessing and diagnosed me with bronchitis when it was just a flu. I literally checked my self into the next ER because this one didn't help me one bit. She prescribed medicine that had nothing to do with what I was really diagnosed with. The rn was rude and rushed everything. Also they didn't give me a call the next day about my result I've waited 24hours for. & usually when I'm going in to an ER & if they're aware that I take blood thinners they'd also check my INR before sending me home as well This didn't show much care about that part of my health either but still chose to prescribe me with antibiotics that'll strike my levels. What i have noticed is when they first opened they were very very good. I got excellant care and they did understand PTSD... The last time i was there end of last summer 2023 for a rash, i was sat in a chair across from the toilet and a dr. said so and so... i already knew that, but they wanted referred me to a place in Tacoma, I wanted to go to a place and i had the name in Puyallup which is why closer to were i live, I was only concerned because i have been dealing with many odd things since a surgery in 2020 and have been in there several times... It seems they just tend you write you off... I still have the right side pain in the lower groin//abodomin and i have been putting off going back because i don't want to be insulted again and treated like i've done something wrong... BUT THE CARE AT THAT ER CLINIC HAS CHANGED... I SHOULD OF HAD A CAT SCAN LONG AGO .....BUT I'M LEARNING TO LIVE 1/2 A LIFE, as i have no family dr... to go to... Living in pain due to a clinic that is rude and will not give you the time of day. i try to go in very early when they are not busy 6am soon as it's light.. they should be a clinic that give excellant care as the area certainly needs that and it takes the back up off the hospital ER and wait time.... please bring back doctors and nursers that care.... I know it is not an easy task to take care of sick and hurting people, but its no fun to hurt for several years. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I am 32 weeks pregnant with a severe tooth infection that's causing me such severe pain that a nurse hotline told me I needed to go in to be seen immediately to prevent preterm labor or too much stress on my baby and they let me sit in the waiting room for THREE AND A HALF HOURS in excruciating pain and they gave me nothing. Not even a tylenol. I ended up finally having to leave at 4 am due having a disabled kiddo at home who will be waking in a couple short hours and I need to be home to do his morning vitals and meds. If I go into preterm labor because they LIED to me and kept saying "you're the first in line to be called" and then I sat for three and a half hours and never got called, they'll be hearing from my lawyer. read more

There are privacy acts tHat are being broken by Multicare. I was triage with other patients not even 5 inches away from me. There are cameras in the rooms. Was told that it wasn't on, but how do we know. Was given a 27 page book of all the things regarding Multicare and was told to sign form regarding financial statement. However, you are signing ALL YOUR RIGHTs as A PATIENT. If MultIcare doctors give you wrong diagnosis, they are covered. You are allowed to have an advocate, but Multicare can see fit and kick that advocate out at any tIme. Read tHe book. Highly recommend!!!!! read more

I have a daughter 2 years old and a son that was around 6-7 months old when I came to check on them they gave my daughter a popsicle and just took their weight and temperature telling me all I can do it just keep an eye on them ... I had to admit my son to the emergency room the very next day for 4 days after he was diagnosed with RSV for and infant that's fatal and they didn't acknowledge my son what so ever ! This place is as corrupt and absolutely the most unprofessional doctors office I have ever had the displeasure of being admitted to. I was charged $7800.00 for an hour and a half of waiting. I am fighting with my attorney who says they blatantly over exagerrate every diagnosis to get top dollar$$ from everyone's insurance company. It's why they run ridiculous tests that apparently no one needs. They need to be investigated for malpractice and fraud at the least. When I spoke to someone about me being dizzy, they immediately had me sit for about 30 minutes, did a CT scan and a 2picture X-ray, then had me wait another 20 minutes in the waiting room. Yet I was declared a level 5 ER visit? absolutely appalled at how this state lets this go on hurting the people. read more

My dad had a stroke on Monday of this week, he is a veteran with severe PTSD. None of the so called medical professionals were equipped to handle a stroke victim with severe PTSD. When I called to speak to him they said he verbally assaulted the staff, physically assaulted the staff (he threw a pillow at the nurse because he doesn't like needles), and refused all treatment and medication. They told me several lies when I called. I spoke with my dad and I know he has a potty mouth and is extremely difficult is hospitals because he was assaulted in one before. I asked the dr if a mental health professional could talk to him gently and they said "it's not up to me". I called the line to the room he was in and they said they removed the phone because he was throwing things (1 pillow). He frustrated everybody and they took out that frustration on his family, me, my brother, and his wife. They were not gentle with him and gave him several ultimatums about how he had to do things "their way" in order to properly rehab. They told several lies over and over and the dr said she was offended when I asked a question about her name trying to find common ground because she was so combative. I called to ask questions about my father's health and all they did was tell me how difficult he was. They continuously contradicted themselves by saying "we deal with this all the time" and in the same breath saying "we've never dealt with this". It's a shame medical professionals here have their credentials and have horrible and unethical practices. It's no wonder they are 1.7-5 stars, if I could give a negative googolplex I would. I will not bring my mom back here. As someone who works at St. Joe's in the surgery department, and my mom being a retired open heart nurse, I will never take any one of my family members here again. My mother came in today for what has been going on for about a week. She's had a fever of 102.4, a severe cough and chest pain. She went to her PCP in which a flu swab was given and it was negative. They wanted to test for COVID, but they ran out of test kits. She was put on a list to call when they got in. Today, she is worse. Fever comes back when Tylenol wears off. I decided to take her here because she needed to be tested right away. Aaron Isaac was our PA. Not only was he short in tone, but he would cut my mother off when she was talking. He didn't let her speak or tell him the full length of what was going on. His answers were, "your sats are fine, your temp is fine. This is just an infection". He didn't ask if she's had a fever at all, which she had one the past three days. She explained she's worried because my father is immune compromised being a kidney recipient the last year. He had no empathy, no care and acted as if we were bothering him or annoyed with us. He pretty much said she was fine and doesn't have any reason to get tested although her symptoms show otherwise and we were in Seattle two weeks ago. He needs to go back to PA school. As someone whose currently in the PA program, I can promise I'll never treat any one of my patients the way he did. read more

I had the worst service I have ever had for multicare I came in and explained my symptoms and they just asked me a few questions and sent me on my way. I know I should of had some blood work done at least cause I told them that I was worried that I may be septic. I will be leaving here and going straight to another hospital. This place should be shut down nobody does their job they are very un professional, and they do not care about the patients you can tell them whatever and they will just go off your word instead of running tests and giving u proper medical care. I went in with abdominal pain. I have Crohn's disease and knew it wasn't a flare. Tried to explain I don't run a fever and blood work will only be slightly off if at all. Not 1 person listened. Took my blood and then left me in the waiting room for hours. Finally someone came out to get me. Only to put me in another chair in the hallway to start a IV of nothing but saline. The doctor finally came over to be totally rude. I was told they took care of priority patients first. Just a joke. I signed myself out and left. Horrible service. I don't go to the ER or Urgent care unless the issue I'm having is unbearable. read more

Went in @midnight with excruciating pain. It was empty in the waiting room so I was optimistic. The desk people were kind and got me a wheelchair because they noticed how in pain I was. It didn't take long to get in a room but after that it took forever for anyone to return. I wasn't given a call button or any blankets, just ordered to undress and put a gown on. After a long while I began shivering, so finally I waved down the women at the nurses desk who were all chatting about personal stuff. I asked when I would get something for the pain. They said they were waiting on permission from the pharmacy. Finally a RN named Dora came in. As she put my IV in she yelled at me to sit still. I was trying my best but my pain was unbearable and she was having me hold my whole arm up in the air without any support while shivering cold(still never offered any blankets and no pillow) I kept apologizing but she never once said a single kind thing. She got my IV in but decided to take vials of blood instead of pain medicine first. Because the horrible IV she did my blood wasn't filling the vials it was just tiny drops. Kept admonishing me for moving/shaking which I could not help because at this point I had just been in a thin hospital gown for about an hour freezing. Finally she gave up trying with the blood and pushed the pain meds and sent in a male nurse whom I did not get a name. He immediately noticed I was shivering and my skin was extremely cold to the touch. He got me several warm blankets and even tucked them around me. I warned him just as I warned nurse Dora that finding good veins would be hard and usually pediatric needles are used on top of my hand. He ultimately did end up going off the top of my hand. He also provided a instant hot pack to expedite blood flow. Then nurse Dora came back to take me to the restroom for a pee sample. She made me walk in my socks, as she had tossed my slides off earlier out of my reach. I was grossed out walking in socks in there during covid (or any other time really) into a bathroom. There were pee drops all over where I had to step near the toilet IN MY SOCKS! Not to mention socks are a slip hazard and I was just given strong pain meds and was now a slip risk! I waited a little longer and was brought into the CT scan by another very nice member of the staff, I asked if I could wear my slides because I wasn't allowed to and was grossed out only wearing socks to the bathroom. She agreed with me that it was really gross and of course I could wear my shoes! Having to be in there alone (covid rules) without a friend/family member it was comforting having at least some of the staff being kind. After about 2-3 hours I was finally told I was suffering from a 6mm kidney stone. When I was getting ready to be discharged Dora was taking out my IV,and I made a point to praise her as I was told all my life kill with kindness and I said "thank you and stay well" and then I said and I quote " I hope you have a good day and patients treat you kind" to which she replied "They will now because you're leaving" I WAS COMPLETELY SHOCKED!!! I've seen difficult people in drs offices and in the ER, I don't think for a minute I was THAT awful to get that rude of response! Yes I was slightly annoying asking for pain relief( after freezing and waiting what felt like forever) But FFS I had a HUGE kidney stone.. I guess I should've been cheery and singing show tunes? What was I thinking??? Bottom line Dora needs to find a better profession. I left in tears. She was so uncaring and I feel I did nothing to deserve to be treated like that. My family will try to avoid this ER the best we can, even though it's literally blocks from our home. It's not lost on me that medical professionals are under duress with the covid pandemic and are suffering, however if one cannot bring it upon themselves to give basic kindness to their job every day then it's time to either take a long leave of absence or not stay in a profession if you feel the need to belittle people and give subpar care. read more

This place is absolutely not an emergency room, and it's dangerous to call it one. I came here because I was miscarrying at 14 weeks pregnant and I thought it was an actual ER. I had to be transferred to the real ER at Good Sam and it took two hours just waiting for the ambulance. The staff didn't seem to have much empathy for my situation, and they acted shocked that I was so terrified of bleeding to death (I was on blood thinners). This place should absolutely not be advertised as an ER, it's an urgent care at best. And the staff sucks. The covid test that they forced on me has also given me 2 years of ongoing vertigo. read more

This place sucks! I took my wife there with an infected bite on her Achilles tendon....... After being in the room with a t.v. that didn't work for 45 mins, I asked for help and finally they came in with a prescription for antibiotics and no anti inflammatory meds at all despite asking for something to help with pain. Fast forward 5 days later she is in a real hospital admitted for a nasty infection, and surgery within 12 hrs...... and a 4 day stay with a drain tube inserted in ankle....... Excellent and thoughtful care! I don't know why there have been so many bad reviews. I can only think it's because people are getting more and more demanding and self-centered these days. I spent 5 hours there on Tuesday afternoon and they worked hard to narrow down the issues and determine what was making me very sick. I felt a whole lot better by the time I was discharged. I won't go into medical details. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because of bits of trash on the floor of my room. This is a quality ER and very convenient for me. The first thing they did was a COVID test and I suspect I would have been immediately transported to the hospital in Puyallup if it had been positive. read more

Disconnect between different shifts, not a cohesive unit. This made for poor care. I brought an elderly family member here and the blatant disregard for the patients or their family is astounding. I would recommend going to a different place for help. There's so much more to say but I will put it in a letter to whoever is in charge and I don't mean the smug inconsiderate charge nurse who was so happy to be so unkind. Took my mom here yesterday and was completely shocked by the experience. Upon entering the building she fell down, not because of a trip but literally because of their poor choice of mats. The mat is a bumpy plastic surface which is extremely slippery when wet apparently. There was a little snow outside (not on the mat though). Neither the woman at the counter directly adjacent to the door or the male employee standing near the counter said anything to her. The complete lack of concern was shocking! Both employees saw the fall but neither could even ask if she was okay! When mom politely mentioned to the woman at the counter about the mat being extremely slippery she just sat motionless until the man mumbled about going to speak to someone about the slippery mat. The service at this place did not improve. At the time of incident there was one other patient sitting in a wheelchair in the waiting area. I would like to be contacted and told how the slippery situation has been resolved to prevent anyone else from falling down, as well as how the employees at this location will get the necessary training to provide the normal level of customer service which Multi Care has become famous for. read more
