First, she's young- this was the first time I've had a doctor about my age- and it was AWESOME. From my cyst removal to my labs to my physical Dr. Bright was incredibly professional, kind, and just knew her stuff. She's also a great listener. When I say she's a great listener I don't mean "for a doctor" (a miracle in itself) but as a person. If you're looking for a great person to be your doctor who knows her stuff, is kind, and listens to what you need look no further. As for her staff they were all kind, professional, and respectful. I've been in three times so far and encountered 5 different folks that helped with scheduling, medical assistant, etc and they were all great. I especially liked Latanza.

No TVs or loud music, but a little bookcase full of books (including kids) and a play table for toddlers. Everyone was nice. We didn't wait more than 15 minutes before being brought back to a room. Dr. Loomis was patient, professional and relaxed. I felt like he was taking his time and actually listening to me. He made a few appropriate, helpful recommendations for my health and had good bedside manner. That's all I can ask for. When I did have to get in sooner recently (due intense out of the blue back spasms), he seemed generally skeptical of my symptoms until I nearly collapsed in his office while attempting to demonstrate my lack of mobility due to my condition. The NA and front desk staff also seem rather nonchalant these days. Thanks for your prior good service, and I hope you pick up your game for the sake of future patients/customers.

It seems important to share our own experiences with Pacific Medical Center in Puyallup because everyone in this office has been truly caring, kind and compassionate to my Grandmother. From the very first visit with my Grandmother's Primary Care Physician, Dr. Kim, we immediately realized this was personalized health care. Dr. Kim always spent the extra time listening to my Grandmother's concerns and determining what could be done to assist my Grandmother. When appropriate, Dr. Kim ordered additional tests and consistently followed up with the results. Besides providing excellent medical care, we appreciated Dr. Kim's personable demeanor. He always remembered to use each of our names when we visited the office and he patiently went through our usual list of questions that we brought to each of our visits. This level of patient care did not end with Dr. Kim. Dr. Kim's nurse was equally helpful and caring towards my Grandmother. She often spent extra time caring for my Grandmother during our visits, calling to answer questions for my Grandmother, following up with the doctor and scheduling appointments so my Grandmother could be seen for more urgent concerns sooner. Lastly, the front desk staff in this office remained patient when we came across challenges with my Grandmother's insurance plan. Additionally, they worked hard to patiently handle insurance billing questions, schedule follow up appointments and answer questions for my Grandmother. They were always professional and respectful which meant a lot to us. We really could not have asked for anything more from Pacific Medical Center in Puyallup. She let me know that she sees a lot of people and doesn't have the time to find out what my symptoms are from. She did not perform an exam or ask me hardly any questions. She couldn't have cared less and was extremely condescending. It's heartbreaking to be in so much pain and pay for that type of experience. I was in the room for under 5 minutes proscribed something that she changed several times and sent on my way to figure it out.

My middle son won't age out until the end of August but he proactively made a new patient appointment. It's 6-8 month wait to get your new patient appointment but they're THAT good. Just remember to activate your MyChart with them so you don't miss any because they have a "2-missed appointments and you're out" policy. I have sickle cell trait and had to reschedule because of the 109F temps a few weeks ago, and was able to cancel easily in MyChart over the weekend, and then called a few days later to reschedule. If you send a message in MyChart, it's answered in 24-48 hours usually. Front desk staff are professional and kind, also when you call on the phone if you have a glitch in a pharmacy refill. I'm usually in and out promptly, and I've never had a doctor here treat me like I was making up my symptoms. I recently got my 2nd pneumonia shot and my middle son was shocked that we were driving out of the parking lot less than 20 minutes after I parked.

While I respect her personal opinions, I never asked or made an appointment with her. I have medications I have been taking for over 20 years for adhd. Now when I expect my refill I see she has declined them. I have been coming here for years and now have to find a new doctor. Something that took a few minutes out her day has ruined my whole week and I've had to take time off work. What happened was unacceptable. Be careful about getting a nurse instead of a doctor because they sometimes will try and shame you for taking medicine and they prefer the natural approach.
