This place is much nicer and more fancy. Honestly the front desk staff are excellent in person and over the phone. The doctors nurses and practitioners are great too. I have zero complaints. Each of us are treated with high standard of care. They are on your team and help you make decision in regard to your health. I am glad my husband and I plus my youngest son can use the clinic with confidence in our care. We have staff here who go beyond to help us. Our son has special needs and it brings me joy to find a doctor for him that cares. And today I was in tears of joy knowing that he will be cared for. All of us highly recommend this place. There is someone here who will help you or direct you with a smile or a warm kind voice on the phone. They deserve a nice looking office. Rooms are kind of comfy too for a doctor visit. One room today looks so good I probably would take a nap while I wait for doctor. Seriously thanks Multicare Tacoma Family Medicine!

When my normal doctor did not come in a nurse practioner I believe her name was Morgan, she shut down all my medications saying she does not "believe" in them. While I respect her personal opinions, I never asked or made an appointment with her. I have medications I have been taking for over 20 years for adhd. Now when I expect my refill I see she has declined them. I have been coming here for years and now have to find a new doctor. Something that took a few minutes out her day has ruined my whole week and I've had to take time off work. What happened was unacceptable. Be careful about getting a nurse instead of a doctor because they sometimes will try and shame you for taking medicine and they prefer the natural approach. This has been a terrible experiencd experience

He seems to have grown more cautious, formulaic, and by the book over the years, and not for the better. In addition, the office seems to have lost whatever customer service edge it formerly had. Example: I got a reminder for an annual checkup, and called in immediately to schedule only to find out the earliest appointment = 5+ weeks out. When I did have to get in sooner recently (due intense out of the blue back spasms), he seemed generally skeptical of my symptoms until I nearly collapsed in his office while attempting to demonstrate my lack of mobility due to my condition. The NA and front desk staff also seem rather nonchalant these days. Thanks for your prior good service, and I hope you pick up your game for the sake of future patients/customers.

The building is in the proctor neighborhood and the waiting room is very quaint and old school. No TVs or loud music, but a little bookcase full of books (including kids) and a play table for toddlers. Everyone was nice. We didn't wait more than 15 minutes before being brought back to a room. Dr. Loomis was patient, professional and relaxed. I felt like he was taking his time and actually listening to me. He made a few appropriate, helpful recommendations for my health and had good bedside manner. That's all I can ask for. Oh and they offer pelvic exams and Pap tests in office, so I can bundle my next check ups. Super convenient!

My family and I were patients at Seven Hills Medical Group for many years because of Julie…read moreCunningham. She is an incredible physician who truly cares about her patients and always puts people first. Unfortunately, my experience with the office staff and billing department was often frustrating. It frequently felt like the priority was money rather than patient care. There were multiple occasions where I was unable to see my doctor because the office staff would not take the necessary steps to work with my insurance company to resolve billing issues. Instead of helping me, they refused to do their part and expected me to handle the insurance issues myself. They wanted payment immediately but did not want to do the backend work required to properly process or resolve billing problems. I also experienced repeated overcharging issues. Despite bringing my concerns to the billing office several times, nothing was corrected until I finally left a negative review. Only then did they acknowledge the mistakes and begin refunding my money. I want to be clear that I do not think Dr. Hillis is a bad doctor. My concern is with the overall culture and priorities of the practice. In my experience, patients were often treated more like customers than people. Julie Cunningham recently opened her own practice, Cunningham Family Clinic, and the difference is clear. She genuinely cares about her patients and would never refuse to help someone simply because they are struggling financially. She treats people with compassion, dignity, and respect, and that is why my family will continue following her for our care.

My previous primary care experience had been discouraging, but from the very first visit Dr. Campanelli listened to my full medical history with genuine empathy, respect, and attention. Because my case was complex, she partnered with Dr. Ngo to ensure I received the most thorough evaluation possible. They are an exceptional primary care team--bringing different perspectives, deep medical knowledge, and thoughtful research to every appointment. They carefully investigated my condition, clearly explained their findings, and respected what I know about my own body. This is truly patient-centered primary care--the kind that is compassionate, responsive, and thorough. I especially value being able to easily reach them when needed and feeling fully supported in my health journey. I highly recommend Dr. Campanelli, Dr. Ngo, and Lapis Family Medicine to anyone looking for outstanding, attentive, and knowledgeable primary care physicians.

I was experiencing chronic pain, which I had been under the care of several doctors to manage, and had experienced very little relief. Until I met Dr Campanelli and Dr Ngo. As I am a logical person, I determined that they were not, in fact, practitioners of the Dark Arts, but extremely knowledgeable, thorough and passionate doctors who are actually invested in my wellbeing. Making the decision to become a patient of Drs Campanelli and Ngo has been life changing in so many ways. OMT has helped make my chronic pain manageable and with the "whole body" approach to medicine that is at the heart of this practice, I've gotten to the root cause of issues that I had not realized were previously being treated with the "band aid and a referral" approach that has, unfortunately, become so common. I cannot recommend Lapis Family Medicine enough. This is by far the best health care I've ever received. Who knew visiting your doctor could be enjoyable?!
