This is the first time I've ever written a review of this nature, but I feel compelled to share my…read moreexperience. I have been trying to reach Dr. Kennel for over a week regarding important test results for a family member. I was told I would receive a call back from a nurse, but after several days with no follow-up, I called the office again. During one of these calls, I was placed on hold by a woman named Mandy. When I called back to explain that I had been disconnected, rather than apologizing or helping, Mandy again placed me on hold. After I expressed my frustration and reiterated that I had already been waiting a week, Mandy responded with a hostile tone, denied that I had called previously, and then abruptly hung up on me--accusing me of being threatening, which I absolutely was not. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of communication is deeply disappointing, especially when dealing with sensitive medical matters. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that the office improves how it treats patients and their families moving forward.

Just left my first apt here so let's dive right into why I left a whopping 5 stars…read more We'll start with my first impression. So I walked in with extremely low expectations due to the low rating on yelp. Let's be honest though just because somewhere has a low star rating doesn't mean it's gonna be trash. I was highly impressed by how clean and well kept this office is. No weird smells, clean furniture and most importantly a clean bathroom. To me you can tell a lot about a place by how clean the bathrooms kept. Lol. Skipping into my overall experience as a patient, I felt like everyone was extremely nice to me and truly cares for the patients. I am a extremely emotional person, so for me I need to feel like I'm walking into a calm environment with friendly people or my day will go to shit really fast. The receptionist that helped me as I first walked in was a peach! She was super helpful and very friendly. She honestly put my worry's to rest immediately. She greeted me with a friendly smile and took her time with me while I asked questions, she joke with me a little bit and her overall attitude was amazing. I really appreciate that level of professionalism and kindness just as much as anyone else would I'm sure. Now time for the big guns! DR. Courtney, all I can say is holy hell shes good. Not only was she empathetic but she also is a amazing listener. I felt a strange sense of ease talking to her. If you've ever had trouble finding a good dr. Like myself you know how rare it is to feel like a dr. Is truly trying to help you and not just rush you out of the room. She took her time with me, allowed me to express all my concerns, joked with me a little bit, but most of all took what I was asking about into consideration. I've only ever had one dr. As good as her and unfortunately never thought I'd find another one like him until her. You can tell in a short amount of time that she is truly committed to her patients and extremely well educated. By the end of my appointment all my concerns were put to rest and I left feeling like I was given 5 star medical care. I can't thank this office enough for making me feel ok again. O' one more thing I almost left out, there is parking available, and this location is super easy to find. Well hope this helps. Have a nice day!

We moved back to Washington and have had a heck of a time getting all of our medical stuff set up…read moreand straightened out. I went to MultiCare as a kid, so it was sort of my default when I started looking for a PCM for our family, who is on Tricare Select (Active Duty Military Insurance)... we checked with a lot of other places - EVERYONE is backed up at least a few months, especially if you're establishing new patient care. 3-6 months seemed the standard wait time for an appointment. I called back in late August, and they said they had a new Doctor to the practice - Dr Shands - whose schedule was still filling up and they could see us in early November. *sigh* Ok, yes. We'll take it if that's the best we can do. 2 months and change didn't sound so bad after being quoted at least 3 months everywhere else. Yes, just give it to us. Hopefully she's nice. I am NOT SORRY for taking Dr Shands as soon as they offered it. She is absolutely wonderful. Dr Aurora Shands and her nurse Amy has seen myself and two of my children this week and she has been wonderful. I haven't felt as heard and cared for under the watch of a medical team as I did with them. I'm stoked to have such an attentive, compassionate, talented doctor as our PCM. My kids adore her. My four year old was so scared to go to the doctor but Amy and Aurora put them at ease so well! The check-in process was swift and easy! They actually mailed me my paperwork ahead of time, so all I had to do was bring in that and the records from our last doctor and pay my co-pay and we were all ready to go! We have had both afternoon and morning appointments- in both cases, the office was running smoothly and on-time. I'm also happy to say that they have a lab on-site which is awesome for me. I have an autoimmune disorder that requires quarterly blood work to manage my medication and that makes my life just a little easier, not having to drive cross-town for labs each time. Thank you Dr Shands, Amy, Brandy, and the MultiCare team for the solid and empowering healthcare experience this week! You've helped to restore a huge chunk of faith I'd begun to lose after many years of frustration with finding healthcare providers that meet us where we need. THANK YOU!!!

The office is always very clean and sanitary. All of the staff always go above and beyond from beginning to end to make sure that I am well taken care of and comfortable from the time I set foot in the door until the time I leave. Thank you so much to all of the staff at Christian family care and a special thank you to Dr. Hana Kim my primary care physician. I appreciate everything that you do and I couldn't have gotten better without you.

Absolutely the worst care I have ever received by a medical provider. If I could give less than 1…read morestar I would. Asking questions apparently angers the doctor. I was seen by two doctors here. Both were extremely rude and arrogant. The staff and medical assistants were great but the doctors don't listen to a word you're saying and try to force you into their plans and medications. The doctor not only lost her temper but started yelling at me and wouldn't calm down. She was angry because I asked how long it would take to get a sleep apnea machine? I tried to communicate with her and calm the situation down but she kept going on about me calling her an employee because I mention I was a client and she was providing a service. I had no choice but to leave the office and walk out because she kept yelling. Seriously? No one should be treated that way whether the question is annoying to you or not. I understand if you don't have an answer but this behavior was outrageous. The first doctor I saw had to leave for training and passes me off to her. The first doctor said I was going to die and that most people with my blood pressure are dead. Now this other doctor says it's ok. You can't make this up. Utterly disrespectful and arrogant. Confusing advice from the doctors who have no interest in helping you understand the process, no interest in listening to you and help you feel at ease with your medical plan and therapy. My advice is don't waste your time here. Find another place for medical care.
