I was in need of a good body shop that can fix my car to what it was before the accident. I was going through a few body shops. Reading all the reviews and seeing the images of the before and after of the vehicles each one had done. Custom Paint & Body just stood out to me. Each time I had a question or any concern Kenon was quick to reply either by email and phone. After almost a month and a half, i finally got my car back. I am so impressed and happy with the job they did. It's like my car wasn't in a accident at all. Thank you Custom Paint & Body. I would definitely refer to you to ANY ONE that asks.

Charlotte Performance -- The Real Deal…read more If you're serious about your vehicle's performance, Charlotte Performance is exactly the kind of shop you've been looking for. First call into the company I was greeted by Matt one of the professional and knowledgeable owners I brought my Kia Stinger GT in for an JB4 engine tuner, cold air intakes, a blow off valve and adaptor, removal & installation of a new under chassis preformed cover and finally replacement of all pads to the Brembo disc braking system and I can say without hesitation that their level of expertise and professionalism here is unmatched in the Charlotte area. From the moment on the phone with Matt and then when I walked in, two days later for the 1st time, it was clear that the owners aren't just mechanics -- they are true enthusiasts with deep, real-world knowledge of performance engineering. They took the time to walk me through every aspect of the build, explaining the "why" behind each decision rather than just telling me what I wanted to hear. That kind of honest communication is rare, and it immediately built my confidence that my car was in the right hands. The quality of the work speaks for itself. "Dropped off at 9AM and picked up by 3PM -- same day" The engine build was executed with precision, and the tune was dialed in to exactly what I was looking for. These are people who take pride in doing the job right, not just getting it done. What also surprised me was the fair, transparent pricing. For the caliber of work and the level of expertise you are getting, Charlotte Performance delivers exceptional value. There are no hidden fees, no upsells you don't need -- just straightforward, honest business. If you want your build done right, look no further. Charlotte Performance has earned a customer for life. 3/31/2026

This was the first shop I went to in order to receive a quote for the repair of a scratch and dent…read morein my car. I was quoted over half of what ALL other shops and my insurance quoted the damage. They told me they were going to replace parts that don't need to be replaced at all, as well as they might even have to total my car. My car is currently valued at over 30k with about 6k worth of damages. Totaling my car is an absolute scam, and although they do have good reviews, there are also lots of reviews saying basically the same thing I'm saying here, but thank GOD I got out before working with them or signing anything. What really drove me away though was the fact that the person who did my "estimate" wasn't even a tech, and was extremely inconsiderate and rude. My car is fairly new so of course I was upset about the damage, and was just looking to get an idea of what a repair would look like. The woman kept reiterating "wow, this is a new car" over and over again after I told her multiple times that I was very upset regarding damage to a new car and nicely explaining that "yes, I understand it is a newer car." It felt as though she was belittling me the entire time, and then quoted me almost 20k worth of damage. When I expressed that I felt that was high, she insisted that if I went anywhere else that I would be making a mistake and accused me of trying to "cheap out" on a repair. She kept trying to tell me that I should go with them because they are "Honda certified" but there are plenty of other Honda certified repair shops that didn't quote me near this much or treat me with such inconsideration. Fortunately or unfortunately, I've had cars repaired before and I'm not naive to the process but this was hands down THE most unprofessional experience I've ever had.

I loved the text updates that kept me informed of every stage of the repair process. I never once had to call for an update because they were always one step ahead. Since my insurance covered a rental, they even arranged for Enterprise to pick me up right from the shop, which made everything so convenient. When I got my car back, it looked brand new -- you would never know it had been damaged. The office staff were warm, knowledgeable, and focused on making sure I was completely happy before leaving. They truly deserve 10 out of 10 across the board! One note for anyone planning repairs: depending on the extent of your damage and your insurance company's process, repairs can take around 3-6 weeks. I dropped my car off on September 25 and picked it up Thursday, November 6. While I wasn't expecting to be without my car that long, the quality of the work and service made it absolutely worth the wait. Highly recommend Body Works Plus -- they set the standard for excellent service and craftsmanship!

Security should be important for all customers cars especially when they are park on the outside of the repair shop. They are busy so you will have to wait a few days for the repairs to be completed. They weren't able to fix the situation and they advised me to take the truck to a dealership or to an electrical mechanic. So I went to Victory Chevrolet in Mt. Holly and the service advisor told me that I shouldn't waste any money in the vehicle because it was old and smelled liked mold, mildew and had the worst water damage he's ever seen. Needless to say I was disheartened and didn't know what to do so I looked up mechanics in the Belmont and Mount Holly area. This is where I came across R&M Auto Center, their reviews were almost perfect so I called them up and the front desk was very helpful, professional and pleasant. She set up an appointment for me relatively soon. When I arrived, I spoke with Cameron and explained the situation in detail with the brake lights, the driver's window not going down and locks not working. He assured me that it would be taken care of. He also reiterated that the diagnostics fee was $103 and if they didn't resolve the issue in the first 45 or hour then there would be an additional charge for each additional hour. I left my vehicle overnight and when they call me back the next day, to let me know what the issue was, I was worried but Leslie explained that they found the issue and it was a simple fix for the brake lights. I was extremely happy about the price because I was thinking the worst. They finished my vehicle and did my inspection as well in a timely manner. When I picked up my vehicle I was surprised that the driver's window worked and the locks on the truck worked as well and yes the brake lights were fixed. They took care of everything and didn't try to exploit the situation. Overall, I would definitely recommend R & M Auto Center for your vehicle's repairs because they are truly honest, upfront and do great work on your vehicle for a very fair price.
