All I needed was to replace a wax ring. I was quoted $89 service call (+). The plumber (382) came and took13 minutes using my wax ring. I was told this was a 30 day guarantee. He told me it was $162. When I called in to the office to pay, the person I talked to said the $89 was waived. I was told it was $180 (-) $18 discount = $162. Toilet plugged so we called Mullin Plumbing. They sent a text and called which was nice except the repair man rang the bell and took off because it took a minute to put our dog outside. We called and the plumber decided not to come out. That was Friday so we had to wait over the weekend. The plumber told my wife she could take a shower in the sewage filled shower. Very rude. When the plumber did show up Monday he told us our electricity didn't work. I had to plug in a vacuum cleaner to prove it worked fine. He didn't know how to turn on his own machine. Plumber spent two hours complaining about the new owners and was very unprofessional. Neither person seemed very bright. Paid $500 for them to ask me what they should do to fix the Plumbing. Mullins plumbers couldn't fix a simple plugged toilet and now I'm stuck looking for another plumber. Unprofessional and poorly trained plumbers. Call somebody else. I called Mullin Plumbing to get an estimate for a whole-house re-plumb. I requested a morning appointment and the individual I spoke with set up an appointment for a Tuesday morning. On the Monday prior to the appointment, I get a text stating that the service person would be there sometime between 8am and 6pm the next day (not specifically in the morning). I didn't think anything of that since it appeared to be a 'canned' message. The service person showed up at about 3:15pm. He quickly went through the house, asked a couple of questions, and looked in the attic. He was here a total of about 15 minutes then charged me the service call fee plus one hour of work. $300.00. He stated that if Mullin's was chosen to do the work, the one hour fee would be removed from the final bill. He left at about 3:40pm (he was in his van doing something in the driveway for about 10 minutes. A few days went by and then on Friday, I called TWICE asking for my estimate. Each time I called, I was always told I would receive a call back. No call back. All other companies that I got estimates from had an estimate to me within 1 to 12 hours. I needed this estimate because I needed to remove part of a built-in piece of furniture that was in the way of accessing some water lines. The individual that was helping me remove this furniture was to be here the next day (Saturday) so I had a decision to make. I could not make a decision without the estimate. And each company I worked with gave me different info on what needed to be removed on that piece of furniture. No estimate received on Friday and no one called me back. Called again on Monday... again... someone will call me back. No call back. Same thing on Tuesday. No call back. I even told them on Tuesday (ONE WEEK AFTER THE SERVICE TECH WAS HERE!) that I now want a refund. No estimate provided, so I want my money back. Again... someone will call me back. No call back. Finally, on Wednesday, 8 days after the service tech was here, I finally receive an estimate. It was a dollar amount... .no detail, no info... Just a final dollar amount for the work. This is customer service at it's worst. I will never do business with this company again. $300.00 to get a piece of paper with a dollar amount emailed to me. read more

I made an appointment to have my two AC units "tuned up". The technician arrived late. First thing he asked is what are we doing here, I replied I need these 2 units tuned up. He preceded to hook up his gauges and add Freon. He ran out of Freon and said he would return Monday. He returned Monday and added the rest of the Freon. When he finished I asked him if he was going to do the tuneup he said no and left without giving me an invoice. Three days later a representative called and asked if I was going to pay the invoice, I said you would have to give me one first. He emailed me 2 invoices and the total was $800 for Freon. They charge me for 2 service calls and had 3 different prices for the Freon. When I questioned him about the double and outrageous charges he said someone would call me the next day. No one called I waited 5 days. I called 5 days later and I was told someone would call me back the next day. No one did. I called again a week later and was told someone would call me back for the third time and no one did. The customer service is terrible and everyone I spoke to just gave me the runaround. The whole experience seems like a scam! I am very disappointed and I can't remember the last time I dealt with such unscrupulous and unprofessional behavior. Update: I called a 4th time after another week and all I got was a run around and no has returned my call again, what a shocker! read more

Mario was beyond honest when he stopped by. I was told by a specialist to have my lines jetted. Mario came by, and told me that there was no way to fit the jetter in the back drop, despite him bringing the unit. He didn't charge me, and was able to get my lines fixed at a fraction of the cost I had paid for a previous service provider. Hard to find honest plumbers, but this place has Mario and Brian. I have used this company in the past and had good results. Had a leak under the slab. Day 1, showed up, one Mullin truck and another person in plain truck with equipment for pressure test. Said the leak was everywhere. Day 2, a very professional guy showed up to locate the leak. As he was leaving Mullin showed up with yet another plain truck with equipment to break slab. The Mullin guy did produce a quote. The two guys in the plain truck proceeded to do the whole job. Looked to me that Mullin hired contractors to do the job and Mullin did the billing. Mullin didn't even stick around till job was finished. Guys left the place a mess and neglected to turn hot water back on. If Mullin plans to keep in the plumbing business they should invest in the needed equipment. Maybe the owner should pay more attention to his business than running for office... read more

I just have to vent for a moment... I will never use Mullin Plumbing again. They came out to fix a clogged kitchen sink and charged me $691 (a job I have had done 2 other times for less than $300). The two most incompetent plumbers I have ever seen left a horrible mess under the sink and all over my white slate tile, broke our shovel and said they would bring another one but didn't; and worst of all ran over my dog, who we later had to put down. The lady who answered the phone call was really really rude .The customer service was extremely bad. I had a major sewer issue in my backyard. Called them on a Monday, they showed up promptly Tuesday morning, with a 30 minute advance notice. They attempted to diagnosed the problem, but, needed a camera device to figure it out. The second guy came back within a few hours with the camera/tracking device and figured out the problem. It was more than likely a broken pipe. They called my back the very next morning with the estimate. I thought the price was fair. They showed up that morning and the problem was fixed by 2:00 that afternoon. Jacob was extremely professional, polite, friendly and knowledgeable. I have used Mullins for over 20 years, and will continue to do so, despite the owners political beliefs :) The girls who do the scheduling were also extremely polite as well. Great job!!!! read more

Build up was leaking around my ADA height toilet. Mullin Plumbing came in and replaced wax ring. Broke my ADA tall toilet when reinstalling it and replaced it with shorter toilet. Would not replace the taller toilet that I had. In 6 months there was leakage around the toilet AGAIN. Decided not to deal with Mullin Plumbing, so went to plumbing supply store to buy ADA tall toilet and told my story about Mullin Plumbing to sales person.
