Never would've thought that Mulligans would have great food but they do do! The elote ribs are really yummy, probably one of the best I've had in town...the wings are also worth trying here they have many, many different flavors but the hot wings(classic buffalo) are def good call. The burger was good and the french dip also tasted great. Mulligans also has a few big screens so definitely a great place to catch a game here as they truly are a decent sports bar. Their drink menu also has pretty good draft beers on tap as well as cocktails. Their staff def pays attention to service you get here. Mulligans is definitely a great place to try the food and overall worth checking out.

Came here for St. Patrick's day and actually got a seat right away even though it was very busy. We both ordered the fish and chips special. I found the fish rubbery and didn't eat it. My mom loved it so she got lucky with 2 servings. I thought I'd give them another chance as I've heard the wings and ruben eggrolls were great . We came back on a Thurs around 7:30 and it was empty. You pick a seat from many booths, tables, the bar and a patio. We had the same great waitress as before. We even had a coupon for a half dozen free wings from the Valpak (so keep your eyes open) regularly $12 value!! I ordered the mild buffalo and she had the Chipotle Honey Both were great and the spice on her's was just right. The Ruben eggrolls were interesting but I don't think I'll be ordering them again. However, the arugula was a nice flavor balance to the richness of the pastrami. I will return for the wings though! Lots of tvs, pool table and rock music but not too loud.

We stopped in here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon after passing by it a lot. We're really glad we stopped in! Good hometown vibe inside. The server and the bartender were both friendly. It wasn't particularly busy and the server was chatty without being overbearing, which was nice. I had the beef barley soup to start. It was obviously homemade and very good. Good portion size. For the main part of lunch I had the Mulligan's Dip, which was excellent. The beer battered fries were also excellent, not too crispy but just crispy enough. Portion sizes were great for the price. They also have an excellent draft beer selection, and I enjoyed a pint while I was there. I had the Toast Amber Lager from AZ LOC. The beer list on their website was up to date. It looks like they have a good crowd in the evenings as well. Great pub atmosphere without being too overbearing. Nice and casual, just the way we like it. I look forward to going back soon!

This sports bar had decent food. The sandwich I had was due to the menu which was like an Italian grinder. It was not my favorite and some of the other dishes looked better. The service was OK and the vibe was typical of a sports bar/restaurant.

Continuing our search for the best fish & chips in Tucson, we gave Mulligans a try. First off, the service was excellent and the ambiance was of a classic neighborhood bar. We both had the f&c and interestingly we both had one very good, one average and one overcooked piece of fish in our order. Possibly some of the pieces were reheated. The serving was generous. We both would have preferred non-battered fries. Neither of us liked the cole slaw and were both uncertain which ingredient was the cause. The dinner salad side was a nice touch. We both had a Guinness draft from the extensive liquor selection. A lady a table over had a huge bloody Mary which looked delicious. All in all, while not a winner in our search for really good fish & chips, Mulligans is a place we will try again.

They have really good food. We've been a few times recently and have had cheese curds, wings, pretzels, Reuben egg rolls, Mexican corn ribs, and alcohol. They have a TON of drink options. Strawberry margarita was excellent, lots of draft beers and other drinks. The atmosphere is chill, 3 separate areas for pool, dining, and bar. We came with a group of teachers and then just on a date. I definitely will be back. Staff was great!

Best wings in Tucson! Cajun dry rub had the perfect amount of heat and they were cooked to crispy perfection! The beef barley soup was superb. Definitely house made and now from some food service company. Nice casual sports bar. Waiter was attentive and my soda glass never sat empty for more than a minute. First time here but we will definitely be back.

Manager here is a COMPLETE MISERY!!! Came for 10AM Steeler game, 3 other tables filled in the dining area with all the booths open and with 6 screens in the main area she claimed they were all being used by the 3 tables, so each table gets 2 screens?! These tables were all watching the big screens and facing the opposite direction of the 3 small TVs behind. She put on the game in the pool room with no table to sit at, just bar stools. NEVER FELT SO UNWELCOME at a business. Her name was as not on the bill but she is taller medium build dark hair worn up and wears glasses and sporting a Ref shirt. As we were googling another location that would welcome customers at 10AM she asked if we wanted anything to drink? Well NO we want to sit at a table and eat and enjoy the game. She said well these customers already have claims on the TVs and maybe you can sit at a table and possibly see the game (from behind the wall separating pool area)? What, NO! and plus the hanging pool shades block the TV duh you're the manager, you know the layout?? I pointed out all 3 tables with customers were facing the main screens in the other direction, there's 3 TVs behind them?! I told her we were going to leave to eat at a table and watch game elsewhere and then she reluctantly said well I could "MAYBE" change one screen for you. Just so happens to be the furthest corner screen from available tables, also "coincidentally" of all the 3 screens, she selected the least bright or clear (she knows what she's doing...(Uhh DRIVING ALL NEW BUSINESS AWAY). She obviously plays faves to the regulars duly noted while not enticing any new ones LOL?!! Anyhow decided rather than drive to Frozen Cactus, we'd stay to try this new to us local spot, as originally intended. Another disgruntled fan joined us so all of us sat at one table and he commented she hates him for no reason. Unfortunately she was also our server so you can imagine how that played out LOL. Grimacing to serve us, it was painful both ways, a sourpuss and even more so to our table mate, made us feel so very uncomfortable. Noticed at half time another Steeler fan in the bar and magically the screen in front of her was now "tuned" into the Steeler game and not the other. Food is aok to very good. Tucson Turkey supposedly had 'house roasted turkey' but with caramel brown edges like the deli ones, and thin even cut slices without the grain of fresh tky, I think not. Nice roasted fresh Poblano but could not taste the pesto part of it or the turkey, and the toasted sourdough ends up greasy and fell apart. Hubby left quarter of his half of the Sammie. Hand cut steak fries are my type, like British style chips, they had malt vinegar if you ask, yum, saved my plate haha. We both enjoyed the Chilaquiles far more. House chorizo flavor was hard to detect, but a pulled pork in a red sauce was flavorful with slight hint of heat and nice sunny side eggs. Hubby's Old Fashioned was great, Buffalo Trace with surprise Galliano, rest is secret, 2 premium dark cherries and slice of orange garnish, delish. Equilibrium Hazy IPA (NY) on rotation is a great day drinker light body with nice piney hop, juicy and creamy citrus yuzu palate, disguises 10% ABV...no wonder this day drinker fell flat 3hrs later haha!! A strong bitter aftertaste of a Nasty Manager is what stands out here no matter how good anything tastes. Got our Halloween fright way early, we too scared to return! Too bad as the elevated menu is worth exploring and it's close to our gym. 3.5 for menu and food, ZERO for MOST MISERABLE MANAGER. Hope the business figures out it's Manager issue, it's never pleasant to write about but needs to be addressed.

Some friends met me here for lunch one day. Pretty typical bar food. We all ordered tacos ala carte. I asked for mine without the shell for one and one with a shell. They were happy to accommodate my request. The food was good and our server was friendly. I'll need to go back and try something else from their menu.

I have been a regular of Mulligans since the bar opened 20 something years ago. Dave has hired a rude manager Jordan that should not be a manager of Waffle house. ADA code is not being followed as I carry a card. She is picking and choosing as to which dogs to allow by the tip they give. Will not be back good luck Dave. Action is required in your management selection. read more

For Dinner last night my husband and I visited Mulligans for the first time. Soon as you walk inside you can see its small but has a friendly vibe to it. My husband ordered to drink a Buffalo Trace for $6.00, 90 Proof. He really enjoyed it and the portion that was served was quiet alot. To eat he decided to try their wings, extra crispy. He ordered the half Dont Fear the Reaper and half BBQ flavor. Let me telk you BEWARE when ordering Dont Fear the Reaper. It is definitely not for the weak. This sauce is very very spicy but has a delicious flavor that makes you keep on eating. My husband alternated one of each flavor because of how spicy it is. And the wings let me tell are HUGE! We are used to going to BWW for wings every now and then on Thursdays and those look so small compared to the size of the wings here. They where perfectly crispy on the outside but the chicken on the inside was not dry at all. They are what some people say "Finger licking good". I ordered the Green Chile Burger. Since I am attempting to eat somewhat healthy I request it lettuce wrap and it was also very good. The meat on the burger was a perfect thickness size and very flavorful. The meat was very juicy (i hate dry burgers) and the French fries where very well seasoned and crispy. It was a Thursday night, so the restaurant was not busy at all. The bar area did look full but their where plenty of tables still available. I am sure on the weekend or on Game nights this place can get very busy. The server was nice, she acknowledged us soon as we walked in and took our drink order soon as we sat down. Overall we were very happy with our dinner and our experience. The husband and I plan on coming back again soon as I am excited to try their other food items. read more

After a number of trials and careful research, I feel I have I concluded that this is the best buffalo chicken sandwich in town. Better than WOB? As much as I like WOB, yes. Better than Pops? That's hot chicken, so that's different. Popeyes? C'mon... They actually call it the "spicy chicken sandwich" and you can then choose your wing sauce. They have a couple of sauces I really like other than their standard buffalo, but I also haven't ventures into their "ass on fire" (my name for it, not theirs) category, which may be great. As for everything else? I mean, it's Mulligans. I've been going there long enough now that I could complain about things, but it's honestly become what I expect from the place and it gives it character more than anything. I will say though that, if you don't like crowds, during NFL games is not the time to come. They seem to somewhat market themselves as a football bar. And don't expect to sit on the patio because there's a 50% chance people will be out there smoking the whole time. If that doesn't bother you, then you're fine, but otherwise be aware. It's a friendly place though. I enjoy coming not just for that sandwich but also that it feels comfortable; like a neighborhood bar should feel. read more

Transplant from out of state. It's hard moving to a new state. I came in on a whim. Kinda divey, but my God, The food and the staff were fantastic!! You immediately get a Cheers vibe from this place. The staff are attentive and personable. The food has NO BUSINESS BEING THIS GOOD! Just found out they are open at 9:45 on Sundays for Football Sunday. Came in, tried the chicken and waffles with the ancho syrup...AMAZING! My husband inhaled the Huevos Divorciados. Make this your new spot. You won't regret it. read more

This is my local watering hole, but the food is amazing. Burgers wings and fries. They used to have this burger called the Caddie Mac. They don't have it anymore, it was the best. If you ask they try it make it. The western burger is pretty amazing too read more

First things first - the reason for the higher score is because this is a fairly decent burger. A that is difficult to come by in Tucson. I ordered the meat medium-rare, which they actually delivered. Also they season the meat well so it holds up to the other flavors they put into their burger. I also liked the cheese curds... they were suprising because they were so much larger than a typical cheese curd. They also made sure to season them, a necessity whenever you fry. They also have very crispy wings that were seasoned well.... not bad considering I am not a wing person. The service is decent. Not perfect, but at the same time the waitstaff is very friendly and does try to make a good dining experience for the customer. Overall, worth coming her to get a good burger. read more

Went here back in October for my birthday. I used to love there fish fry on Friday nights. It is pretty pricey now and was almost $200 (with tip and no alcohol) my wife and I were in sticker shock to bring our family of 6 out. The fish had been changed up since the last time I was there (different batter) and it no longer was all you could eat and because of that and the price is the reason why I gave it a 3 star. It was clean and the service was friendly though. read more

decent place, definitely a locals neighborhood bar. went by for happy hour and pleasant atmosphere with reasonable priced drinks......one side note, find it funny some one complaining about outside porch full of smokers.....well hell you pansies got us kicked out of smoking inside, so stay inside. read more

Mulligan's is a sports bar/restaurant located at Golf Links and Harrison. I went here because the someone recommended it, specifically for the food. It's definitely more sports bar than restaurant but they do have several tables and while we were there our server was friendly and attentive. There are TVs about the place for viewing whatever sporting event is going on and a pair of pool tables. I was there on a Thursday which is apparently prime rib night. So I ordered that along with an order of Cajun Wings. The wings were okay but the prime rib was less than ideal. To be honest I didn't finish it. There were a couple things going on with it... To begin with the color was off and it was really shiney which was due to a slimey substance that coated the top. The texture was tough and stringy and the flavor bland. It was actually kinda gross. I was with someone who ordered the same and their order was no better. The prime rib was also $17.99 so it's not like I was getting some awesome deal on it either. The prime rib was basically awful in every capacity. My conclusion is this place is a bar through and through. If you stay far away from the food I'm sure this place is fairly nice. However, I don't see myself returning. read more

Love this place but why aren't they open earlier on college football Saturdays? Ended up at Buffalo Wild Wings...not comparable. Don't like big chain restaurants. This one is on bottom of my list too. read more

The only reason I did not give this a 5 is due to the fact it took nearly 30 min to get our check. This is in unison to our casually and politely trying to get someone's attention. Apart from that we went for the fish. And on Friday it is an all you can eat option. That being said you get 3 large slabs of perfectly battered cod plated with crunchy shoe string fries a couple of delicious hush puppies and coleslaw and tatar sauce. Being from Wisconsin it has been challenging to find decent fish. I'm hoping it wasn't a fluke, because these were great. To top it off their cheese curds - while over priced at $10 a plate - are extremely good. Crispy, white cheddar oosing out of the breading. Poor service! We went for the Friday fish fry. Took a long time to get anything. Petite blonde waitress didn't listen to anything that was asked and she didn't allow time to ask for anything. We were a party of 4, she bought 2 napkins an a single fork. We asked repeatedly for silverware, she delivered them 1 by 1 half way through the meal. The drinks had too much ice and the soda was flat. We waited for her to return with the bill, she took a long time. My husband got tired of waiting for her to return, so he approached the bar. The lady (blonde) behind the bar waved him off and went to the other side of the bar. He was left standing there. The service turned me off completely. The bill came out close to $70. $70 for a strange dining experience. Don't waste your time. Go to Jeff's Pub. This was my 1st and last time at Mulligans. read more

We're becoming regulars. We've had the wings, very good. Had the fish & chips; really good. The banh-mi sandwich; awesome. The porky's revenge, just as good as well. The food is definitely not your typical bar food. So much better quality and all our friends we hang with here all provide positive feedback and finish their plates. Oh, and it's nice to have a good selection of beer and spirits to compliment it all. Staff is always positive and very helpful. A hidden gem that I can't believe took us so long to discover. read more

I have never had a worst experience anywhere ever. The food was pretty good atleast the part the server got right but the service was horrible. The skinny blonde server on Sunday night was incredibly rude and obnoxious. Not only did she mess up our food but our drinks as well.. My wife had to go to the kitchen to get our own condiments because she just dropped off our food at the table and We couldn't find her for almost half an hour and she wreaked of smoke when she came back. I have never had such absolutely terrible service. We will not be coming back because of it. I really hope you guys get better servers and get your stuff together. I expected way more. We were looking for a new place to watch football on Sundays, good food and drinks would be a bonus. We definitely found it in Mulligans. It's not too crowded, but they have a great atmosphere to watch some games and have some cold drinks. Whiskey list is extensive. Draft list is pretty varied too. Their wings are delicious. The garlic Parmesan were not bad for flavor, and the Daytona were excellent. The perfect mix of sweet and heat. Both flavors were perfectly cooked. K got the sloppy Jose, with a side of chili. The chili was tasty, even though this Texas girl doesn't care for beans in her chili. The Jose was just fantastic. Spicy, sweet and huge. Our server, Kaylie (sp?) was quick and attentive without hovering. She was awesome. We won't be waiting for more football to come back and try more on their menu! read more

My wife and I moved to Tucson from Minnesota 2 years ago. We were seeking a local bar that could provide us with reasonably priced drinks, good food, and pool tables (good food is generally the denominator that would disqualify most similar establishments). We loved/missed our local watering holes in Minneapolis, and were discouraged until we found Mulligans. Every "local" establishment needs a bartender that keeps you coming back. Danny is that. He doesn't earn regulars by virtue of "under the table" free drinks where only the bartender benefits. He earns regulars by being incredibly knowledgeable and caring. He is relaxed, but carries an incredible sense of urgency for meeting his guests needs. Danny is the bartender any regular would want, and does so in a way that benefits Mulligans, and not himself. Under their new ownership, the food is fantastic! Incredible American classics that are truly well thought out, and deliver unexpected nuances that distinguish them from similar establishments. Just try their breakfast (yes... they offer breakfast), wings, sandwiches, or appetizers. We have been blown away Free pool on Sundays, with EVERY NFL game televised was the final draw for us, as we are diehard Vikings fans. They clearly label which game will be on each TV, and are willing to accommodate the fan bases that are most represented each Sunday. Great service and great food. We have been here for a quick drink a few times. Tonight took the family there for dinner. Food was delicious and did not disappoint. We had the chicken tenders, the steak sammie, fried shrimp and the grilled chicken sandwich. Everything was fresh and tasted definitely house made. Our server was friendly, fast and efficient. So we decided to give this place another try. It had been a favorite for a long while but our last experience was not so good. We thought maybe a Tuesday night would be good. Not busy after 6:30! Well the restaurant was not crowded but there was just the bartender and 1 server on staff! I'm sure they were doing their best but I have to say that it was the worst service I've ever had! Over 10 minutes and we finally got our own menus! Bartender took our order and she was running her butt off'!!! Kudos to her! I just don't understand why they didn't have better service help! Was the server new? Inexperienced? It was awful! Food was good and so were the drinks but still!!!! We shouldn't have to go up to the bar for drink refills!!! Tonight was my last final of a 21 credit hour semester at UA. I was tired mentally yet ecstatic since I was high on caffeine and officially on winter break. I needed some wings and a Bombay and tonic STAT. My boyfriend yelped this place. So here we are. We are told to sit wherever, so we grab a booth. A sweet girl serves us and gets our drinks. I order wings and since it was Wednesday, it was wing night! 60 cent wings, sweet niblets! I got mild and Daytona (spicy BBQ basically). Decent wings. I would have gone back here and given this place 4 stars. It's a cute hole in the wall and I appreciate that. My boyfriend loved his cheesy burger and the beer battered fries were yummy. HOWEVER, there was a DJ on tonight. That's fine and all... Until a drunken older woman starts jiggling her body right next to our table and literally starts SCREAMING AND SHRIEKING with whatever the DJ is playing. I'm not kidding. It didn't stop. It just kept getting worse. We ran out of there and chugged our drinks down as quickly as we could because, wow, what a way to absolutely ruin the environment and make my ears ring painfully. Thanks for that, drunk lady. You're not funny or cute, for the record. Thanks for making my ears hurt. A very relaxed environment! Elyssa is an awesome server and has an amazing memory. We had a party of nine and she took everyone's orders, including food and drink, and correctly split the individual tabs, without making an error. Great personality as well. Mulligans is a place where you can mosey up to the bar, hit the dining area and play pool, or head out to the patio for a very relaxing time. Looking forward to more visits. There's been a bar here on the corner for years. But we purchased Mulligans in the Summer of 2017 and are trying to provide the neighborhood with a great bar, delicious food, and quality service.

Louie, the owner, comes in from time to time, and you always know when he arrives because you hear his voice as he walks in. Okay, so my friend is/was a manager at Mulligans. He noticed mouse droppings in the walk-in, and noticed boxes of food had been chewed open. Mice had been feeding on the food. He found that there was a mouse nest in the wall linked to this walk-in cooler. How disgusting! He closed the place down due to the unsanitary conditions, and the owner (Janet Baker) was contacted. She showed up at Mulligans only to yell at the manager and force him to reopen. He refused, she yelled even more, and he ended up quitting because of this. Janet Baker is the owner, and she has no care for her customers health or well being. She has no sense of loyalty to her customers or employees, and would rather sell mouse droppings than to close the place until the problem is resolved. I am NOT a disgruntled employee, I am just a former patron that feels obligated to get the word out regarding the conditions at this Bar/Restaurant. I will never eat there again, nor will I give that place another dollar for a beer. This place doesn't deserve the 1 star that I had to give them! read more

Everything was okey till a bartender named Riaty made me cry. he was suppose mean be use I put my boot up to try to righ my shoes.he yelled at me and when I apologized , he laughed at me And made me feel like I didn't matter. Was originally excited to come here, the service was absolutely terrible... and to top it off, manager (Kyle) was unapologetic that our meals came out without the appropriate accoutrements because our server (Michelle) was new... zucchini sticks without ranch, nachos without salsa, sour cream, or guacamole. Place looked ok, was pretty clean. First and last time I pay $16 for an average tasting 6" cheesesteak. Girl friend didn't like the thick cut bacon on her blt. The jack wagon server says to me "man you inhaled that thing" I didn't say anything but I know after just getting off a 10 hour shift, that tiny cheesesteak didn't fill me up. Thank god the beer was at least good. read more

I went to mulligans for lunch one afternoon, I sat at the bar and received fantastic service from the bartender Tahnee.... she went above and beyond to ensure that my meal was perfect!
