Went here during the World Cup Final and it was very busy. The manager provided the best service I've ever had in NYC. She made sure everyone had drinks and we didn't wait long at all for refills. I would definitely recommend stopping in for a game here! read more

Stopped by for some drinks post-dinner, had a blast. Our poor waitress seemed very stressed and busy, and we had to remind her a couple times about our orders, but she got them done! Mulligan's is my favorite pub in the city. I've been going for over 10 years and have made some amazing memories there. The staff are always incredibly friendly, as are any other people you might meet there. It truly is a place for everyone, where you'll see office workers, tradesmen, people on vacation, sports fans, families, and the occasional celebrity. Whenever I have friends or family visiting from out of town, Mulligan's is always the place I take them. The food is classic pub cuisine, with good portions and tastes fantastic (I recommend the buffalo chicken wrap), the drinks are great, and the service is speedy. I'd also recommend Mulligan's as a good spot for a low-key Tinder date. I've never been let down (by Mulligan's, that is, I have been let down by Tinder dates, but that's irrelevant). read more

The bartenders and servers are amazing here. The customer service is absolutely great. They're always attentive and funny and sociable. The food, however? Not so much. My company has ordered food from here for lunch multiple times but each and every time the food has been subpar... I have never enjoyed anything here food wise but drink and ambiance are awesome... Really really delicious burgers, I must say. And value so much better than other pub fare in this neighborhood (ie The Shakeseare which was pricey for the same menu, and a bit snooty)! Whereas, the Irish servers at Mulligan's are very down to earth and friendly. Also, I think their sweet potato fries are the best I've ever had (no extra charge) and I've had them from Miami to NYC. Came here for brunch today (Easter Sunday) while the prices were fair, the food was not amazing. It was still good just more around average. Our waitress was great though and we had a good time so i would give a 3.5 if that was an option. read more

Solid spot for drinks and food. Came here on a Thursday night and the service was pretty punctual as well. Ordered a veggie burger which came out pretty nice. Crowd was decent and plenty of TVs were around to catch a game. You can even ask the waiters or bartenders to change the TV to a certain channel if you'd like. Overall no complaints. read more

Was here last night for a office holiday gathering and we reserved a few tables for about 25+ people with all you can drink booze and all you can eat noms. We had one dedicated waitress. Most of us kept double fisting (till she made it 1 drink per person, per order because we were drinking as if the Mayan apocalypse prophesy was occurring today, lol) and ordering plenty of foods like mozzarella sticks, chicken quesadillas, potato skins, calamari, chicken wings, chicken fingers, etc. We were DEFINITELY an overwhelming bunch considering that our waitress was one person handling 25+ alchy/hungry, enthusiastic and incredibly extroverted sales folks. Frankly, I think she did an amazing job. Her name was Michelle and she was friendly, knew when she had too many requests and at what pace she could work at. She was professional at all times with everyone and still managed to be efficient, keep her cool and smile. Hopefully she was well compensated because she was an absolute gem and totally worthy of my returning to update my original Yelp review of this bar. I was appalled by the bartenders mannerisms - repeatedly taking our food when we were still esting

Due to the close proximity of this pub to our office, it has become the unofficial "official" bar we go to whenever one of our coworkers moves on to other jobs. It has come to be our bar of joy and sorrow and the bittersweet. They've been perpetually covered by scaffolding out front and with its skinny facade can be easily missed if you're not looking for it. I think for that reason it's generally never overcrowded but has that good balance of people. Which ultimately means there's always some place to linger, sit and lean. I've generally only been here during the after work hours so I'm not sure if it gets much busier as the night progresses beyond 9pm. The servers are super friendly as are the bartenders who have always been amazingly attentive and laid back, even when it comes to serving up a large group of people that suddenly descend on the bar all at once fighting for their drinks *cough* co-workers *cough* Prices are pretty good and the drinks are the perfect stiffness. There's also plenty of visible screens around usually playing the latest sports game too. read more

We entered to a wall of sound from the numerous televisions on the walls, made our way into the pub to see if it was quieter beyond the bar area, it wasn't. Decent atmosphere. OK pricing. Went to meet a friend for lunch and it served it's purpose. Started with the french onion soup which was abysmal. The broth was watery, the onions were whole rings and undercooked (ie still slightly raw). For my entree I had the Bangers & Mash... the sausage was really good. The potatoes were a bit watery and lacked any flavor but were slightly saved by the generous amount of brown gravy. Had a side of steamed veggies which were also flavorless to me. My friend had the london broil sandwich which he said was really good which came with a side of french fries which were crisp and tasted pretty good. Don't think I would eat here again but I've had much much worse. read more

There was a good flow of people on a Friday night in February. They had TVs behind the bar which were easy to see. Something I particularly loved was the variety of music they played. There was something for everyone.. They played ACDC then Kanye and just kept it mixed up. That was cool. Love that all the bar tenders had real Irish accents, too. Just had drinks, no food. Came into New York Friday at 6pm I was on a business trip in Pennsylvania I'm from California had an opportunity to come to New York so I took it. Once I got here I did everything possible to see New York but times flies when your enjoying it. I was walking by and this bar was rowdy caught my attention so I came in for a drink. Great atmosphere and great people. Didn't know what to get I told the bartender to give me any IPA on tap. He gave me a one that I haven't had great taste of beer.
