I've been coming here for over 20 years off and on. The rules have tightened up so it's not a " do your thing and the rest will follow" type of place. At holiday time (December) they have a sale that students are able to register for to sell their arts and crafts. One can also apply for scholarships to help with some expenses but, look it up well in advance of a class. There is a limited amount of them. Some classes fill up the first day of registration.

Once home to a Montgomery Ward store, it now houses offices for Kaiser Permanente Health Systems and the Adidas Employee Store. On the walls throughout the complex you will find some very fine work of local artists. All of the art purchases support the nonprofit programs to provide art therapy opportunities to older adults suffering the effects of early memory loss and dementia. I have been in a lot of galleries in my life and this one was an unexpected gem.
