They are awesome. The new owner has done alot of upgrades and remodels to the facility which has really freshened the place up. My dog loves going there and I have no doubt that the staff gives my dog adequate care and attention while she is there. I highly reccommend this business. read more

We tried the Andover location for the first time recently. Overall I think our dog had a favorable experience and was treated ok. My rating is based on the extremely strict drop off/pick up times and unwillingness for the owner to budge at all. We were newbies - and thus arrived 24 minutes ahead of the agreed upon 5pm drop time. We arrived early to ensure our paperwork was in place, our dog had time to settle in before we left, etc. We had no idea that we would be charged extra ($19 half day doggie day care rate) for these 24 minutes. Had we known we would have simply waited a few minutes in the car before check in. There was no mention by the front office staff that we would be charged extra because of our 24 minute early arrival. I have now been made aware of the VERY STRICT policies and will make sure to heed these going forward. This experience has just left me with a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. I have communicated with the owner and really thought she would make some type of concession (i.e. perhaps a partial credit towards a future visit, split or pro-rate the cost, etc.) but nope - not happening. The location and hours seem ideal for us and we are hopeful to board with them again in the future. We'll just need to be EXTREMELY MINDFUL about drop off/pick up times!! read more

Jessica and her staff are the best! We have a rescue dog, Augie, that had no time with his mom or siblings. He needed to learn how to be a dog. He came north 3 years ago from Georgia, alone at 8 weeks old. He has too many breeds mixed in to mention but he has more energy than a bus load of preschoolers. At first Augie was evaluated as too hard to handle and we were told to come get him. They said they would try again and we brought him back. He learned how to interact with other dogs from Jess's St. Bernard, Kayser. He got lots of attention and learned how to play and fits into the group well now. They are the only ones we have found that can cut his toenails. He loves to go there and can't wait to get in and play with other dogs. They are extremely welcoming and have very reasonable rates. We took are dog to Muddy Paws for the 1st time this weekend. Are dog got bit by another dog which punctured are dogs skin! I understand things like this can happen when a bunch of dogs are together. None of this would normally upset me, BUT this dog has bitten other dogs in the past. You would think the business owner would have taken precautions to prevent this from happening again. If only the owner would have called to inform us are dog was bitten, We would have picked him up immediately. The following day we picked up are dog, Only to find him panting excessively, limping and 3 teeth marks with 2 of them puncturing the skin. A phone call, a apology or some ownership of this situation would have prevented this review! DONT BRING YOUR DOG HERE! read more

Totally recommend! I've always great experiences with the Jessica, her staff, and her groomers. My dogs love going there, and they come home happy and relaxed. I've taken my older dog there for boarding several times, and had the same great experience. The grooming is the best - they come home nice and clean, even on muddy days. The staff always greet the dogs with enthusiasm, and are great about telling me how my dogs did during their stay. They state their policies and timing very clearly on their website and in the lobby, and have been great at updating us during the pandemic shutdowns. I'm so very thankful to have a place for my dogs to play and be safe, with people who clearly love dogs. read more

I used to love this place but NOT no more... I just move to town 6 months ago and started taking my dog here... always was fantastic. I Take my dog faithfuly every three weeks because of her high maintenence and the lady butchured my dog.. Then my dog came home woth kennel cough.. This lady has to have next to no experience in dog grooming. I'm looking for the lady that use to do my dog. I will find her. I couldn't get any information from this place.. HORRIBLE!!DON'T BRING YOUR DOG HERE!!!Jess the owner takes NO ownership of her staff and dogs. They don't care about your animal they just want you money. Our dog spent his first night there to get attacked by Boomer a boxer who is known for biting and rough housing as they never seperated him from the other dogs. Our dog was bit 3 times with 2 of them puncturing his skin, he was limping and panting so hard it took an hour to get his breathing right. Jess never called us so we could come pick up our dog to take him to the vet instead she charged us for 2 full days and 1 night and if we new about his injuries we would have got him immediately. Instead she kept him, never called,stressed him out and we will be to the vet!!HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! IF YOU LIKE ANIMAL ABUSE THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU!! read more

We take our Elsie here all the time. We love this place, because she gets to run around and play with all the other dogs. They always take great care of Elsie. I also love the onsite grooming services. The owner Jess is very friendly and very knowledgeable. We will be long time customers. read more

Very poor business. My daughters dog was bit by a dog with a biting history and they never even called my daughter. Charged my daughter full price for her dogs stay and said that she didn't think the situation needed a call. I would never take my animal there. BAD BUSINESS!!! So when you write a unfavorable review for a business the owner can remove your review to make them look good and go back to a five star business. Pathetic business owner. It was a total nightmare! If I could give MINUS 5 stars I would. I needed to board my dog for 10 days. I went there, met the owner, took a lil tour. Told her that my dog felt better to play with people, but was fine with other dogs, shy. Owner said "perfectly fine, this is good socialization) I felt good about being able to look at their doggy cam to see my baby during the week. the camera seldom worked while I was out of the country. And if it was working, I never saw my dog. I went to pick her up and there were only a few children ( I mean 12 to 16 year olds) working there. No supervision at all. They said I did not see my dog because she did not want to play with other dogs so they KEPT HER IN HER SMALL SLEEPING KENNEL ALMOST ALL OF THE TIME. That explains why I never saw her. I think the only reason I was told the truth is because the workers were so young, they didn't realize how horrible it was. I was so upset. My dog then was physically sick, throwing up and diarrhea and upset for literally 2 weeks. I am positive they did not feed her the food they said they would... I was also late picking her up as there was a total blizzard outside. The kids still charged me the extra late fee. Literally young children there with no adults at all, I even asked. I never saw the kids even look at a dog my entire time there. no excuse at all for that experience for me or my dog. read more

"We are the cheapest and most affordable in town"...this was the quote I was given after my dog was there for less than 24 hours. $28.95 per day, and $11 for overnight. When we made the reservation I was told so long as he was picked up by 2pm it would be a 1 day charge. So for less than 24 hours it cost me $70 to board my dog. And when we got home he couldn't scarf down his food fast enough. So when was he last fed??? I should have trusted my gut that convenience is not worth the price. There are others in town who do and will beat your price. read more

After many phone calls and letters we finally got partial compensation, not from the business owner, but from the the owner of the dog who broke our puppy's jaw In 2 places, broke 2 teeth and punctured her chin straight through to her mouth. She was 4 months old and weighed 15 pounds and was placed with a year old lab who was known to be possesive about his toys ( their words) They called to tell me she had been "in a fight" but that she was fine. I picked her up about 20 minutes later, I found her soaking wet under a bench in the front of the store. They gave her a bath. She had a broken jaw, broken teeth and a deep puncture wound. So there was lots of blood, so what they did was give her a bath. When I picked her up, like I said, she was under a bench, all wet, no one holding her or anything, I was told that she had a little scrape under her neck, but that "she wasn't going to die or anything". She had 2 surgeries and spent 8 weeks in a muzzle drinking all of her meals. It took a few months but she has recovered, we feel very lucky that we have the same dog Back again. Bottom line, you take a chance with doggie daycare, I thought they separated small and large dogs, but you can't count on that. Visit the facility, ask lots of questions.
