Muddle is super cool and unique for Greensboro. I had the blackberry lemonade cocktail and an old fashioned. The blackberry lemonade was light and refreshing and the old fashioned was perfectly balanced, smooth, and smokey . Service was attentive and the atmosphere strikes that sweet spot between cozy and upscale, with low lighting and relaxed conversations all around. A solid spot for date night or unwinding with friends over great drinks.

Definitely a nice vibe with great music playing in the background. It gives nice & cozy vibes. The cocktails were absolutely delicious. Multiple times we were asked if we needed anything. They were very attentive. I will indeed be back.

Muddle has such a fun atmosphere and provides such a creative menu! Now ya gotta be willing to pay a pretty penny for a tiny little drink - but that tiny little drink is pack a flavorful punch! Everyone here who served us was incredibly nice and quick. I had the espresso martini and it was astoundingly delicious. 100% standout! My only complaint is that they sat 3 of on one little couch which required one of my, me, to be in the middle. It was quite awkward. It was busier, sure, I get it. But all the other seats around us were open. So while I loved my drink, it was kinda uncomfy. In a future visit, I'd ask for a section with chairs or sit at the bar.

I can't wait to visit here again. This has turned into a bourbon house! So many different selections. Had a chance to really talk to the manager and he knows everything there is to know about bourbon. If you are in the greensboro area, take a visit. They don't allow hoodies just for the heads up. Very cool vibes here.

Muddle is easily one of my favorite spots in Greensboro. Their espresso martini is hands-down the best in the city! smooth, balanced, and absolutely delicious. My friend ordered the mojito, and it was so flavorful and refreshing. The service was amazing from start to finish, and the whole vibe makes it the perfect place to catch up with friends and enjoy a really good drink. Highly recommend!

This is a welcoming, cozy bar. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The a synonymous chairs and variety of couches gives this place an at home, cozy feeling. The tables and lamps were perfect for the ambiance. With bring a tequila girl, I wasted no time ordering a seasonal spicy margarita. The Tajin on the rim was icing on the drink itself. It was well balanced with the pineapple juice. Now, I do not consider myself a Gin person whatsoever, but the Southside Elm is a gem of a drink. It was smooth with lime juice and simple syrup! The bartender and I bonded over how good this drink is. I ordered two of these and would have ordered more but my stomach was tugging me towards food. I have much more to try, along with another of those Southside Elm drinks

My husband and I are always on the lookout for the best watering hole. Muddle is by far our favorite! The interior's beautiful and classy! It makes you just want to hang out and chat with fellow customers which we did on our first visit. Our waitress was awesome! She was very sweet and friendly. She sat with us and answered all our questions which was so much appreciated! The owner who happened to also mind the bar was very nice and informative. We ordered the charcuterie board and were impressed by the quality and presentation. Our waitress put it together. The drinks that I ordered, Raspberry Lemon drop and Sidecar were both delicious!! Great ambiance, yummy charcuterie board and delicious drinks! What more can I asked for?! Muddle earned the five stars that I'm giving them! My husband and I planned on going back with a couple of our friends on a Sunday to miss the Friday and Saturday crowd! lol

I'm actually so disappointed to be writing this review because I've been wanting to try this place for a while. I finally got to go last night for my birthday and the experience was not a good one unfortunately. The inside is cute with a speakeasy vibe but they are very particular about their furniture. I was on a couch with 2 other people and an employee told my friend that the couch was "quite expensive" so he needed to sit on a stool because only 2 people could sit on the couch. It was really odd because we were all on the couch cushions so we were literally just sitting on the couch like you're supposed to. I'm not really sure why you would have furniture that's so expensive in a bar, especially if you're worried about people just sitting on the couch. The drinks were just ok. I had an espresso martini which is one of my favorite drinks but it was bitter and not that great unfortunately. My friend ordered a vodka sprite and when they brought the drink it was actually a vodka soda so my friend asked if they could fix it and as the server walked away, he muttered "great" under his breath. This place is expensive like others have mentioned and I really would expect better customer service when the prices are so high. Our waitress was nice so I'm giving it 2 stars but overall, this was a really odd experience and I can't see myself going back. The environment was just not inviting and I felt like an inconvenience by just being there

Muddle is my favorite bar in the city! The decor, the drink selections, the service are all top notch! It's elevated style has given me hope for a livelier downtown and I've thoroughly enjoyed all of my experiences there. So, if you're a bourbon lover like me or just enjoy a classy night out, stop by and check them out.

We chose (Muddle) because it was next-door to a place where we were planning on eating, at but it looked so welcoming we decided to stay once we peeked in and found out it was a cocktail bar. It was such a nice place the decor, the ambience, the music playing ever so softly in the background and the joy that is Marih as our bartender. If that wasn't enough, what we came for was excellent, he had the s'mores martini and I had the hot apple toddy. Love Marih

We attended the soft opening of Muddle. on Friday evening and it was the best post dinner spot for yummy cocktails in a laid back, moody atmosphere. We had a section of the bar reserved and a cocktail waitress to take our order and bring our drinks which was super nice. They were fast and efficient and the cocktails were simple but perfection. They also don't skimp on the liquor so you're getting what you pay for. I love the dark, 1920s vibe of the place. It's classy yet you feel comfortable. The owner stopped by to chat and he was very appreciative to have us experience his newest business (he also owns the music venue Hangar 1819). We will definitely be back as this is one of the few good cocktail bars in GSO and it's super convenient being downtown!

Such a cute place! We've desperately needed a an upscale cocktail lounge in Greensboro. The interior decoration is lovely, it's giving Manhattan vibes. The couches are comfortable and really great for sitting with friends or meeting strangers like we did last night. The drinks were great, I ordered the French 75 and it was delicious. I wish they had more cocktail options on their menu although I'm sure there bartenders can make anything. The staff there is quick, friendly and fast at bringing your drinks. I'll definitely be returning!

The Moscow Mule is on the right, mint was actually muddled into the drink which made it taste very good, presentation is very good.

Anthony is my fav bartender but everyone does an amazing job. I love the on the menu jalapeno strawberry margarita, but like this night pictured if I want something else he will make it for me ! And he's never made me a bad drink ! (This wasn't my first rodeo here ). On to the food. This wasn't my first time having the collard sausage dip and I could eat it with my hands it was so delicious freshly made and creamy ! This is hands down the best dip I've ever had and to top it off the fried pita !! My only complaint is there aren't enough pitas to dip ratio but I will order more next time. And I found the dip greatly paired with the catfish. ( no judgement) The catfish is something I've had before but I didn't have the pleasure of the waffles the last time and let me tell you ! This is a work of art. I want to personally meet whoever made this idea of layered fish , greens and waffles but it was heavenly. And I wanted to eat it all but my stomach just wouldn't allow it. I did however heat the leftover the following morning for breakfast and they were still perfect. Last but not least the Mac and cheese was creamy, noodles were perfectly cooked and it was seasoned to a T. I'm picky on Mac and cheese being my favorite food and they do it justice. See you all next weekend!

The dip is always so delicious - it's one of my favorite appetizers ever. The pita is really good too. I think they recently started adding cheese to it too which is good but not really necessary in my opinion. At first, they brought us pita that was really burnt but our waiter told us she requested a fresh batch without us even saying anything which I think is great service. I also tried their garlic parm boneless wings & they were so good. I loved how seasoned & salty they were, although they might be too salty for some people. I really loved it though! Their cocktail menu is also really interesting & creative. It's mostly whiskey of course but they do have other spirits. I tried the peanut butter & jelly Old fashioned and it was surprisingly delicious. It really did taste like a PB&J so I highly recommend. The inside is small but there's a nice outdoor seating area too. This really is one of my favorite places to get food in the area BUT the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because anytime I've been there remotely close to closing, they definitely let you know & make you feel rushed. I'm not one to go to restaurants last minute when they're closing because I know how that can make it difficult for employees, but being somewhere 45 minutes before they close shouldn't warrant getting rushed. I've been there before just to have a few cocktails at the bar about 45 min before closing & had the same experience. I still really love this place & will keep going (but probably not within an hour or so of closing lol)

There are no TVs, no loud chaos, it's intentionally designed for conversation. And we really leaned into that... we sat there for hours just talking, and it never felt rushed or transactional. What makes this place stand out is how thoughtful everything is. They have over 60 different bitters, and the drinks are completely handcrafted and customizable. Ours were made by Jacob, and you can tell there's real skill and care behind what they're doing. not just pouring drinks, but creating something tailored to you. But honestly, the highlight for me wasn't even the drinks, although I admit, the drinks were absolutely incredible, but it was the people! I will tell you that I've tried old fashioned several times and never ever liked them. This was the first time in my entire life I've ever actually enjoyed an old fashioned, and ordered another one, on purpose! Get the pawpaws Pepsi. 10/10 We got to meet the owner, Jocelyn, and her partner Brian, and that completely changed the experience. Jocelyn is a real survivor. She's been through things that could've & should have, easily shut this place down or broken her, but instead, she built something meaningful out of it. She's a survivor in every sense of the word. You can feel that resilience in the space. it's not just a business, it's personal. Brian has been a strong, steady support system behind the scenes. Learning more about their story made everything feel more intentional and real, not just another trendy concept. Another thing people don't realize, this place is also a retail spot for home bartenders, with locally sourced mixers, syrups, and unique ingredients you won't find everywhere. It's part lounge, part community space, part educational experience. It's also dog-friendly, cozy, and set up in a way that actually makes you want to stay awhile and connect, whether that's with the people you came with or the people you meet there. Bitters isn't for people looking for a loud, quick night out. It's for people who appreciate good conversation, intentional drinks, and a deeper story behind where they're spending their time. And once you understand that... it hits different.

The third and fourth levels both offer outdoor space, with the third floor having its own bar and the fourth providing additional seating and city views. It's a great mix of spaces for pretty much anyone. The music really stole the show this evening. I arrived early and snapped a few photos before the crowd rolled in. Dear Sister rocked tonight. What an excellent cover band! I'll be seeing them often whenever they roll into town. The only thing holding this from being a 5 star night was the service. It was decent but noticeably slow even before the crowd showed up. Once things got busy, it became very hard to grab a drink or get anyone's attention, which is typical for a packed place but still worth noting. Overall, this is a super fun spot with great music and tons of indoor and outdoor space to enjoy. I'll definitely be back for more live shows or to hang out with family and friends on a nice day up on the rooftop areas.

I like visiting on Friday nights for after date drinks. The atmosphere is great too. The cocktails are consistently excellent. You can tell the bartender really cares about what they're making and you can ask for modification and they will give them to you. Everything is balanced, creative, and thoughtfully put together. Whether you order something from the menu or ask for a classic, it's always spot on. The prices are great for the quality, usually $15-$20 for a cocktail, which feels completely fair for craft drinks like these. One of my favorite details is the playlist. It's always so good -- a mix of current hits and those deep cuts you forgot you loved, and it somehow always fits the vibe perfectly. It is in downtown Greensboro, so be prepared for parking as it is not nearby. Service was friendly and helpful, and our food came out in a timely manner. For drinks, we tried a few margaritas (peach passionfruit and mango), which were both flavorful and nicely sized. I had the "Spicy Influencer," and while I wasn't a fan of the color, the taste was well-balanced with just a mild jalapeño kick. For food: * The lamb chops were a hit--perfectly cooked and full of flavor. * The beef ribs were a great portion and very well seasoned. * The appetizers (empanada and calamari) were also enjoyable. * I ordered the bandeja paisa, and it was easily the standout dish. The portion was generous, and everything on the plate--from the chicharrón to the steak--was flavorful and satisfying.
