I will admit the first experience I had here was wonderful. Dr. Reabe was kind. However every experience after that was a nightmare. I will recap my final experiences for you. I brought both my three year old cat and my new kitten and received a discount for bringing both of them in. $5 off my total price. Over the phone they told me it would be a $90 visit and when I went to pay, the total was $170. Such a leap is unacceptable to me. They should have informed me of the price variations while it was happening. If they had been a bit more organized, maybe they would have. The first thing I said when I entered the examination room is, "I'm a little worried about Morn. When we're all done with the normal shots and checkup I was wondering if you could check out his left paw. He's been chewing at it strangely lately. And he's also been going down to the litter box several times a day and squatting, but only manages to squeeze out a few drops... I'm really concerned it might be serious." "Oh, well she's looking great. We'll have her checked out in no time." I brushed off the error as an account of actively listening. So she messed up and called my male cat a female after I'd just spent three minutes discussing *his* issues, it didn't mean she wasn't going to actually take care of him. But it wasn't a one time thing. I continued talking to her and the other nurse, who were cuddling Pumpkin (the kitten) and in the discussion of both MALE cats she continued to refer to them both as females. When the visit was over and both cats had their stool samples checked, I was told "my girls" were fine and dandy and to come back in a year for another check up. I know now she didn't hear a word I said. I left the vet very upset, but when my cat urinated blood at 2 am all over my bathroom floor, I was furious. After some research (thanks to the internet and not to this veterinarian) I figured he had a urinary tract infection, which can be common in male cats. I called the clinic the next day and spoke to a vet tech and she said that I "probably caught it in time" and I just need to pick up some antibiotics. I'm thinking, what if I didn't catch it in time? "You're not going to look at him to make sure it hasn't gotten worse?" "No, he'll probably just have you come pick up some antibiotics." Wrong answer, East Bay Animal Hospital. Wrong answer. You don't even know if he has a UTI, I just diagnosed it myself over the internet. Not only that, but when I brought him back in for the medication and told them the situation (thinking, stupidly, that the vet would actually want to see him instead of just forking over medication) they tried to charge me again for the visit. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I understand paying for the medication, but I'm not paying another $90 for a check up you should've made, but apparently didn't, in the first place. Ugh. I wish Yelp had a 0 Stars option. Or a "Don't go here if your life depends on it" option.

I drained and cleaned the tub myself because water condition was so bad, there was debris in the bottom and the shell was a chalky white mess. This was two days after they supposedly drained and cleaned it. I cleaned it and refilled the tub and everything is great. Also, someone must have cleaned something at our hose bib and left a mess of the same white chalky substance on the concrete and on the siding of the house. After I sent pictures of the hot tub they were going to reschedule another complete cleaning, but I have not been contacted since. If you want to actually utilize your hot tub, I would do the maintenance yourself or find another source.

The Michigan Department of Labor is aware so that's a start. For starters, Every ounce of this business is funded through his employees from the gas, to the maintenance on his vehicles, to the chemicals that he uses for his company, with the "promise" to pay it back- only on his accord of course. You have to repeatedly ask and when he finally gets around to it, he's nothing but passive aggressive. In addition, he won't put anything in writing as far as pay structure or even has an employee handbook so when it comes down to it, he can change his mind at any time on IF and how much he pays you back. Not to mention, he will make his employees drive 2-3 hours and only pay them a measly $25 a job with no time paid for driving or even gas reimbursement if they drive their vehicles since it's "not necessary." Since his employees pay to run his business and can barely afford to live on the wage his vehicles do not even get the bare minimum to be driveable such as getting new tires on a van that are so bald, its unsafe. WE LIVE IN MI, that should be a top priority but since he doesn't do any work himself in these vehicles, it doesn't concern him. You may be thinking "well why take the job if you know this ahead of time?" HE DOESN'T DISCLOSE IT UNTIL AFTER YOU'RE HIRED. Secondly, when everyone is saying the same thing, they can't all be wrong. He cycles through a new staff every couple months cause he can't keep employees because he treats them like gum on the bottom of his shoe but if you look at his Social Media presence, you'll see the opposite. I challenge you to look at every platform he has with his employees even as early as a month ago NONE of them work for him any longer. The minute someone addresses a concern, rather than looking inward at how he can change things, he immediately terminates. He runs this business as if its a multi-billion dollar corporation and can treat people like garbage cause they're expandable. Multiple people have stated that once they quit working for him, if he still owes them money from funding his business- he will just ghost. I strongly believe he doesn't have two nickels to rub together so he has to exploit the people who do the work. Lastly, If you're wanting to know how any of this is relevant to use him as a company, ask yourself, does it matter how someone treats people? If not, then proceed forward but how well can a bunch of disgruntled employees work on your hot tub? Do you TRULY think you're getting the services you pay for when the people working on them have a vengeance towards the owner? For the price you pay, you'd be better off doing it yourself cause there is nothing wholesome or small business about this guy. Don't let the smiling face fool you, Cody says he is a man of faith but certainly his morals prove otherwise. I've never left a bad review in my life but this isn't just for me, this is for every person he's betrayed and mislead. Everything that's done in the dark will eventually come to light and I hope he learns and does better.

On 03/11/25 I stopped in for an oil change and was given a receipt that included a "Service Check List". The list included Air Filter . . . . OK, but no one looked at my air filter. Light Check . . . . OK, but no one checked my lights. Wiper Blades . . . . OK, but no one examined my wipers, had they, they would have found that one did in fact need to be replaced. Tire Pressure . . . . OK, only the passenger side tires were checks and within six hours of being at this facility my tire pressure warning lights came on. I returned the following day to have these items corrected, Dakota kept interrupting me, giving excuses for each item that I was concerned with, stating that they didn't have to check the air filter every time a customer came in, nor did they have to check the lights unless a customer asked for that service, and it was the cold weather that caused my tire pressure warning lights to come on. About this time another employee, Triston, started to F-bomb me. I had not raised my voice or used foul language in speaking with these employees, all I was asking for was to have my tire pressure corrected, the air filter inspected, and my engine looked because of the odor of something possibly overheating since my oil change the day before. If you have a check list but are not going to check these items, you certainly should not mark them as OK.
