Well, I was dubious about what this place was, given the name. Wrap sandwiches? When I walked in, however, I realized that real burritos were a possibility. While a strange mish mash of items are on the menu, I went for a chili verde burrito and asked for it hot. It wasn't as spicy as I would have liked, but the burro was excellent. The tortilla was thin, soft and fresh. The beans and rice were very flavorful and the chili verde was excellent. No, it isn't the Mission. It isn't even Oakland. But it is a solid filling burrito in an unlikely location and I am glad it's there. They say they have carnitas -- I'll have to try that out. I wish there was a good taqueria in town. Orinda used to have one a long time ago, but now it's a sushi place. I want carnitas and aguas frescas! read more

When you walk into Mucho Wraps you immediately question your decision. Perhaps its because its so tiny, confined, and devoid of atmosphere.. But it also gives the appearance that it should be closed, powerwashed from floor to ceiling and repainted. Washing the windows would help. But, after getting a burrito in a pinch I've returned; actually several times. Frankly, I think it is far better than Chipotle (not that I consider that an epitome of haute cuisine nor safety). I do like the fact that this is a local place. The service is quick, the personnel nice, and the food is satisfying. Also it's quite reasonable. But it is decidedly gritty (which is worrisome) and I would never eat inside (while there are cafe tables outside that choice leaves you breathing in exhaust from the Safeway parking lot). Most of my coworkers question why this passes muster with me, but I am persnickity and the food quality is certainly on par and in my opinion surpasses other local burrito providers (outside of going to Monument Avenue in Concord where excellent Mexican food is to be found). A pleasant variety of hot sauces, and you can pretty much mix and match ingredients to your fancy. It's adequate; it's fast; it hits the spot. read more

Still trying to find the grilled veggies in my "grilled veggie wrap" that is actually an overly salty bean and rice burrito. Is it the wilted yellow ice berg lettuce possibly? Is it the tomato in the drop of salsa hidden at the bottom? Oh yes, it must be these little chunks of undercooked zucchini. They get stars for having whole wheat tortillas and the fact that I was inadvertently warned in advance that it was actually a bean and rice burrito when I asked what was in it. Mucho Wraps is okay. I've never cared for the burritos here. The ratio of meat to rice to beans isn't how I like it. Add to that, the entire burrito is pretty bland (this hasn't changed even since the days of hot lunches in elementary/middle school - a long time ago). It doesn't help that the salsas lack a punch to them as well. The enchilada plate was alright, much better than the burritos, but still lacked enough flavor. If I have an urge for Mexican food and for some reason I'm not able to go anywhere else, I may come by. read more

Eh? I ordered this "salad" with pinto beans and chips lining the side, pilled with chicken and guac. It sounds great, right? Wrong! The chicken had absolutely NO seasoning/flavor nor did the pinto beans, leaving the meal completely flavorless. Further, the salad dressing was all wrong for Mexican (Cali style?) salad. It was absolutely pitiful. My other experiences there have been mediocre as well. I love Mexican food and I am rooting for them, but it's just not happening... I'll keep trying different menu items... In the meantime, just make your tacos at home. read more

Good wraps - I really like the Steak Fajita burrito - one of the better burritos out there. The Thai is inconsistent, the first one I got was very good, the second one appeared to have more veggies and tasted very different. Chips are good here. Prices reasonable. read more

This place is fast, delicious, and the owners are so nice. I placed an order by phone on my way home. They said it would be ready in 10 minutes. The drive was going to take 30, so told them. They kept my food nice and warm. Decent size burritos, plenty for me for dinner then lunch the next day. Also of note -- all of their packaging is either compostable or recyclable. I have been known to have the Mediterranean wrap 2-3x in one work week This wrap is packed with grilled chicken, veggies, and a yummy sauce. I walk out the door spending under $7. Mucho Wraps provides quality homemade Mexican food at a very reasonable price. The wraps are tasty and filling - try the chicken pesto or Thai wrap with slightly spicy peanut sauce for a tasty twist on the traditional burrito. Their salads are excellent - especially the Compuesta salad with homemade dressing. The chicken enchiladas verdes are also quite tasty. The owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Granted, Moraga is not the Mission, but for a suburban mall takeout restaurant, Mucho Wraps delivers! read more

A BOMB LUNCH SPOT! I was hungry and cold at lunchtime, and needed a quick, delicious meal. Saw this tiny little wrap shop and walked right in. The place smelled SO good and I knew the food would be great. I ordered a steak fajita wrap and was not disappointed. Despite a steady lunch crowd coming in, my order came out in 5 mins. Filled with meat, rice, beans, veggies, and sauce, this burrito was LEGIT and oh-so-good. Definitely big enough for two smaller meals or one very hearty one. The flavor was right on! I cannot believe I work in Moraga and have never come here before. This is going to be my regular hot lunch spot. Pretty hefty wraps (aka burritos), with very fresh ingredients. Pricey though - $8 for a shrimp/steak burrito, no chips. They are fast, the food is made to order, and they offer other mexican entrees. I mentioned that it's pricey compared to say, Chipotle - but since I live across the street, the money saved on gas balances it all out. read more

I love Mucho Wraps! Yes, of course Chipotle is better. But it's also more expensive and farther away. If you're looking for something local (and you live in the Lamorinda area), this is a great place to grab some lunch. I've had a lot of different burritos here, but I have to say my absolute favorite is the BBQ Chicken burrito with sour cream. The mix of the BBQ chicken sauce (which isn't very BBQ saucey, but it's absolutely to die for) with the sour cream is heavenly. Also, no meal is complete here without their scrumptious chips and salsa. Their mild salsa is SO good. My family and I head over there and stock up on salsas for home sometimes. Their staff is very very friendly and allows us to do so! :) As for parking, it's located right next to the safeway and it's in the little Moraga shopping complex, so you're bound to be able to find parking. Seating is limited. They have a few chairs inside (maybe about 10?) but it probably wouldn't be the best place to go out to eat. I'd definitely label it more as take out. Although they do have some more tables and seating outside the restaurant which is very pleasant on a warm Spring day! read more

"Where's the meat?" Went over to try this place out after a nice hike. My wife recommended the place because she use to go there when she was at St. Mary's. She had the Thai Chicken and I had the Muchissimo, which was basically everything. She loved her burrito and my was okay. For the price you pay, I expected a lot more in mine. It was mostly tortilla, some rice, beans and what pased off as meat. Where's the meat? Interestingly enough, the person in front of me complained to the cashier to make sure they put more meat in the burrito. He said the last time he was here there was not a lot of meat. I asked why he came back and he said this was still the best place in town. That should have been my tip that this place is probably stingy on stuff like that. Will not be going back until they put more stuff in their burritos! read more

I ordered the fajita steak wrap and it was pretty filling. The fajita was tasty and juicy, but not enough meat. Definitely had better tasting burritos at taco trucks in Oakland. If I'm in the area again I would probably check out other restaurants. read more

I had high hopes for this place. Being that they are the only non fast food Mexican place in the Moraga area, I had no choice but to turn to them when I was craving a burrito. Not only did my burrito(which did indeed come out fast) have no actual meat in it, but when I asked for a side of guacamole they couldn't give it to me because of the so-called "avocado shortage." I truly think that they are out for Pure profit because you could go next door to Safeway and get five avocados for less than $5. Just seems crazy to me read more

I was really happy to discover Mucho Wraps, a very decent burrito joint in Moraga, which is otherwise devoid of Mexican fare. I can't speak to the more exotic wraps, but their grilled chicken burrito totally hits the spot for me. I'd give this a 3.5 if I could. No, I don't absolutely love it, and I don't crave their food, but everything on their menu is reliably good. I like that they are a 3 minute drive from my house. My favorite dish is their steak soft tacos. My son loves their enchiladas verde, and my daughter always chooses their tostadas. My husband says their burritos are pretty good -- not Mission District quality, but good. So, if you live in Moraga and want something other than pizza, Chinese food, or a deli sandwich, Mucho Wraps is a great option. The staff is very nice and parking is so easy. read more

Rarely will I throw away food after one bite, but I can't stand zucchini, and the spicy thai chicken wrap is about 70 percent zucchini. If it had been a listed ingredient I would have know, but it was nowhere in the menu description , and has never been an ingredient in Thai food that I have ever had before , but I guess it is cheap in late summer and the description " grilled vegetables" turned out to be only one thing . I was short on time I tried to salvage something, I unrolled it and tried to just pick around the zucchini. I am sure there must have been some chicken in there, but all I found was more zucchini. For $10 for the roll, a soda and the tip, it made for a poor dining experience. read more

I have been to this place twice and they make a really good gringo burrito. I am in the area several times a month and never know where to go. I have only gotten the fajita burrito with extra hot salsa. Very good. I also don't feel like they use lard. It is not a taqueria experience; but it is also not like all of the wrap places popping up. Give it a try. read more
