Best empanadas in Barcelona so far. Crispy and warm shells covering a nice juicy, and meaty inside. We got the spicy beef empanada and it did not disappoint. I've only eaten a couple of empanadas in Barcelona, but the shell was almost never right until I came here. Place was full and you could tell everyone was enjoying themselves inside. The food, the view from the window seat, and the ambience made me feel like a local. More on the ambience - our waiter was patient with our broken Spanish, and the dishes came to us in their own custom print muchi paper wrappers. Glad to have found this place!

Ate here a few times while we were in Barcelona. Primarily a pizza place, but they have other things. You can get pizza by the slice or the whole pie. We order pizza our first night and it was really good. Went there for breakfasts a few times, we really like poached eggs, my wife went for the salad and I went for the bacon. Fun place by the university.

Sat outside on a hot Bacelona afternoon. Pizza was a good size and quick to come out. One of the better pizza places to hit. Service was good, small wine and beer list. Your not paying high tourist prices so that is a good thing.

This place is great. I ordered the Mediterranean and the Goat Cheese slices. The crust is excellent and the taste gourmet. The white wine by the glass was a great pairing. A little understaffed, but excellent and very experienced. So please be patient if they are busy. Good with English, too. I will definitely be ordering a full sized to go pizza.

Possibly the worst pizza on the planet. Worse than any frozen pizza you could make at home. Potatoes Bravas were really good.

Food is ok. They warm the empanada and pizza before serving you. The drinks, ambiance, price and ppl are great though.

We decided to do a more upscale experience when my in-laws flew in to show them the food scene in Barcelona and this did not disappoint. We had a reservation for 8pm and arrived just beforehand. We were seated in the back of the cellar, which created an intimate yet unique experience. We were greeted by Max, who was kind and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered drinks to start - which consisted of some old fashions and sangria's. Highly recommend! For appetizers, we ordered the duck salad and the octopus. Honestly, both were absolutely fabulous. The octopus was made to perfection and the duck was tender and delicious. We ordered some steaks - medium rare and the lambchops. All things were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this establishment when visiting Barcelona for a nice and romantic dinner.

Gorgeous Cave-Like setting right in the heart of The Gothic Quarter. For food we got: - both Peach and Red Sangria's - maybe the best in Spain. 15 Euros so not cheap - Pan Con Tomate - first time having this dish -- great, - Iberian "Pluma" Acorn Fed Pork - so tender and amazing! - Cod (Bacalao) - perfectly baked I must give a shout out to our amazing waiter LUCAS who spoke excellent english and gave some perfect recommendations. We got here at 7:30 and it was quiet -- but quickly filled up and was totally full by 8:30. It's more expensive than most restaurants but for that you get quality service, superb food, linen napkins, and soft jazz music. We wanted to come again the next night but it was totally booked! Trip Advisor rates this as #57 (as of May 2026) but I think it should be in the top 10. Book a table early guys -- this restaurant will not disappoint you!

Chalito ended up being such a good find. My friend and I stumbled across it after watching a…read moreflamenco show near La Rambla, and I'm glad we did. Chalito is a chain restaurant in Spain that specializes in Argentinian milanesas, which are thin breaded meat cutlets topped with all kinds of good stuff, and I knew I had to try one. I ordered the Milanesa Mallorquina with sobrasada, Mahón cheese, honey, and a mozzarella base, and it was absolutely delicious. The mix of savory and sweet worked so well together. I also tried a slice of my friend's serrano pizza, and that was really good too. Another thing I liked was that they offer their own special aiolis to choose from. As somebody who loves extra sauce on the side, that was a huge plus for me. The food impressed me so much that I ended up going back to a different Chalito location in Madrid just to try the sausage and chili oil pizza, and it was just as bomb. Their portions are so huge I didn't have room for dessert on either of my visits, but their cheesecake looks amazing, I'll have to grab a slice on a future visit The service was excellent, and I appreciated that they had menus in both Spanish and English. The restaurant is also very spacious, which made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed. You do not really have to stress about getting a table or making reservations, which is always nice when you are traveling. Overall, Chalito is a great spot if you want a satisfying meal in Spain without all the hassle of planning ahead. I would definitely recommend it whether you are visiting or already local.
