If that wasn't enough I saw they were running a promotion on new cabinets and counters they even gave a free stainless steel sink to boot! We hired MTD kitchen to design and renovate all of the kitchen, cabinets, countertops, and kitchen island at our home. The process for designing was extremely easy. We met with an MTD designer in their showroom, who helped us configure and select the type of cabinets we wanted to install, and provided us with a digital rendering of it beforehand. We went through the showroom and picked out our own countertops from an extensive selection of quartz options. The installation team later came to our home and quickly and efficiently installed a brand new kitchen island, countertops, cabinets, and drawers. The final product looked amazing. Our kitchen and entire living room space was transformed into a gorgeous, contemporary new space with immaculate cabinets and countertops. Working with the MTD folks, including Ruba, was great. I had work done by these guys Five years ago. I met with Yuval and I gave him the dimensions of my kitchen and told him what I was thinking of doing. Within 15 minutes this guy looks up and tells me around 11k. Mind you the evening before I had a guy out to my house who gave me a 6 hour presentation in what he wanted to do and charge us 38k for it. I obviously invited Yuval over to give me a more accurate quote and it was within his estimate. I had my kitchen installed by a guy named Ruben. This man was a machine and did the job all by himself and to this day my kitchen still looks as it did when they installed it. All the material has held up well and I tell everyone about my positive experience with this company. I usually don't post about these type of companies soon after the job is complete as you don't know what the work ends up looking like, but after 5 years I cannot say I regret working with them and feel that I received great value for my kitchen. Excellent, excellent, excellent service!!! That sums up how my entire experience has been with MTD. Believe me, I did my homework via Yelp and through referrals. The first day I called MTD, I made contact with Kathy Alvarez who said she had time to see me within the two hours I had left before working graveyards. When I entered the showroom, I met with Kathy and immediately knew she would be able to answer all my questions. Kathy was very knowledgeable with designing our kitchen. She suggested new products available now a days and where they go best in certain spots of the kitchen. Within the two hours that I was there, Kathy was able to take my blue print plans and put together our beautiful kitchen that we have today. When it came time for final measurements, Kathy and her team came out to my residence and made sure everything would fit like a glove. The entire project was monitored from start to finish. The only delay was on my construction, which we all know takes double the time and double the estimated money for the project. Once the room was ready, Kathy's team had my kitchen cabinets installed in two days. The countertops were measured by another team and again fit into place like a glove. Her entire team cleaned up the mess after each day of work and everyone who's come into our kitchen has complemented the quality, look, and great overall design of what Kathy put together. Once I get all the pictures, I'll upload them to this review. We are still pending back splash tile so I'd rather upload the final product to show off what Kathy transformed our kitchen into. I have been working with Cathy at MTD kitchen and she is amazing. I needed a great priced kitchen and I needed it in a hurry, Cathy and her crew pulled it off. The cabinets are. It made of cheap particleboard. All the cabinets were built using plywood and the doors, drawers and drawer fronts are all solid wood. The paint is great quality and the installers were great. After the cabinets were installed the counter tops were measured and installed 5 days later. It was a great experience and the quality is well worth it. My experience with MTD kitchen was nothing short of amazing! I was looking for a company to build new kitchen cabinets for our recently gutted kitchen. I called in to set up a time to visit their showroom and they were very friendly and helpful during their process. I first met with Rhochie and she designed our entire kitchen layout showing us different options to choose from and making it easy for us to visualize what our dream kitchen would look like while breaking down the costs. With her design expertise and guidance through changes and updates in our design I had no doubt they were the company for us! We must have walked around the showroom for twenty minutes and not ONE person came to ask us if we needed help. Not one person even said hello, and there were quite a few people working that day. In fact, there were two people behind the counter doing nothing... I find this type of "first impression" a disgusting warning of what to expect from this business moving forward. No way would I consider contracting with a business who can't even greet potential customers in a friendly and professional manner. My experience with MTD Kitchens was excellent. I came in with little research and was surprisingly impressed when I sat down with designer Rochie. I had some approximate measurements. She took my overall ideas and quickly interpreted into a professional drawing with cabinets available to fit into my space. She had someone come out and take exact measurements and she produced a finalized drawing for approval. I only made a few minor and we proceeded to installation. So from start to installation it was a total of about 3 weeks. I was pleased with the installers attention to detail. Everything was installed with the care of a custom kitchen. MDT provided the quartz and within a day or so of installation the quartz was installed. The job was finished but a few adjustments were required. I mentioned them one time and without another request everything was adjusted. The job turned out beautiful and I would highly recommend this company and employees. read more

It's been almost 3 years since I renovated my kitchen and I want to update my review. Initially the cabinets were not installed properly (hence the bad review) and MTD was slow to fix them. Once they fixed the cabinets, we have been very pleased. Three years later, our cabinets are still gorgeous and in great condition. I almost used MTD again for a different kitchen remodel. We ended up going with custom cabinets for the new remodel, but I can say that going through the process I could tell that mtd offers fair prices. If I remodel a third kitchen, I will certainly consider using them again. read more

Here is an update. So now when it comes to putting together our last cabinet, no hardware. This will cause delays. Did I mention on my last post that we had to select a different countertop then what we paid for because it wasn't in stock? Well that happened as well. Also, after my first post they all called me with a way different tone. They want to be friends now. And again they stated that my contractors don't know what they're doing. That we must use their installers because they know what to do. Sounds like a monopoly to me. All this will continue until I become a satisfied customer. I'm not so far.
