The appointment staff leave a lot to be desired. If you don't already go here, don't!

This review is a long time coming. This place is only getting 1 star because I liked my doctor, Dr…read more Vasquez. The team is horrendous. The receptionists at the front desks are rude, obnoxious, condescending, and borderline illiterate. The manager has had to get involved multiple times because they lash out. They have been this way since I began coming here 2 years ago (I've since left). There were roaches in the front sitting area! The medical technician at the lab has zero empathy. When I first went to get my blood work done, I told her I have a needle phobia and her response was to tell me that I "better not faint." I will never come back here, which is a shame because I genuinely appreciated my doctor -- but the process of getting to her and getting things done after her was just hellish.

Nobody ever picks up their phone line. Very hard to reach them. I went to their website and got their new address from there since they apparently moved. Got to their new office at 8:11am only to be told that there's a grace period of 10 minutes and they'd have to reschedule. I had booked the appointment weeks in advance. Zero regard of the situation from the front desk. They could care less. This office very rarely answers their phone.

Dr. Posner is in a class by himself. If you are old enough to remember tv shows with local small…read moretown physicians who knew their clients on a first name basis, then you'd understand Dr. Posner's practice. He is in all ways a professional, and a forward thinking one at that. Excellent bedside manner, personality, and a depth of knowledge to draw upon which breeds well founded confidence amongst his patients. If you are looking for a personal physician, or help with weight loss, you should contact his office. You'll be glad you did.

Dr. Posner went a step further after becoming an internist. He went through rigorous continuing education to earn his diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine certification, which is only awarded to internal medicine physicians who continue their education and training while in practice. Generally when you're under the care of an internist, you won't need to see any other types of doctors for routine care. Internal medicine physicians, like Dr. Posner, are highly trained at diagnosing even the most complex of health issues. During your visit, he will gather information about your health, and family medical history and discuss any symptoms you're having, or concerned about. It's typical to order some basic lab work, especially if you're just getting set up as a new patient. He might order additional tests if further clarification with any diagnosis is needed. Once he diagnoses medical issues, if any at all, he'll be the one treating you. Or if you have a chronic health condition, like diabetes or high cholesterol, he will teach you how to manage it and prescribe any medications you need. Your primary care physician is an essential partner in your efforts to stay healthy. Even if you never get sick, you still need to see your PCP once a year, just to have screenings done for chronic conditions that may not show any signs.

I had a really disappointing experience with this office today. I scheduled an appointment through…read morethe Privia app because I am already a patient within the Privia network. The app only allowed me to choose a follow up appointment, this was in response to test results from my primary care provider. If the system wasn't supposed to let me do that, that's an issue on their end, not mine. I drove over 50 minutes to this appointment, only to get a call in the parking lot telling me they didn't know how I was able to schedule and that I shouldn't have made the appointment the way I did. Instead of listening or troubleshooting, the front desk staff kept arguing with me and insisting I booked it wrong even after I explained that their own app allowed it. It was frustrating and honestly felt very dismissive. This was especially disappointing because I was referred here by my primary care provider, so I came in expecting a smooth and professional experience. On top of that, I had been waiting for some time. someone from the office was supposed to call me to schedule in the first place, and no one ever did. When I called myself, I was told I would get a callback...which never happened. At that point, I decided it was better to leave and find another office. The front desk is often a reflection of the professionalism and care within the rest of the practice, and based on this, I didn't feel confident moving forward. A healthcare office should be understanding, solutions oriented and respectful of patients' time, especially when the patient has driven nearly an hour to get there. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I will be finding another provider in the area with better communication and a more patient centered front desk.

Does every Dr. Make you wait an hour plus before they see you? Ugh! The front desk staff go from moody to cool, the medical staff are more upbeat and easygoing. Dr. Waddel is a straight shooter but can be on the insensitive side at times. Anyway, the practice is a patient centered medical home so they offer more than just your primary care services including mental health and nutrition. I've been coming here for a year so they must be doing something right. If I could do 1/2 stars they'd get 3.5.

1 star -- do not go here…read more This office is a masterclass in incompetence and greed. Appointments are chronically late, repeatedly confirmed, and then canceled anyway. During one visit, a nurse confused me with another patient and attempted to give me a shot I did not need. The only reason it didn't happen is because I stopped her and told her to verify. That is a terrifying level of negligence in a medical office. Patients are told they may only discuss two "problems" per visit -- their word -- and are charged if they dare mention anything else. This practice nickel-and-dimes patients relentlessly: * $25 for work paperwork * $30 for prescription refills * $45 to transfer records * $150 for bringing up a third issue I was double-charged for a visit and then blamed for their billing mistake. You're forced to complete 20+ pages of paperwork ahead of time, only to be made to redo all of it once you arrive. The front desk staff are rude, dismissive, and wildly incompetent. Dr. Waddell does not appear to care about patients at all -- only revenue. Visits are rushed, impersonal, and transactional. In a telemedicine appointment, she was two hours late and didn't even offer a simple apology. I switched providers and immediately saw the difference: respect, accountability, and actual care. This office provides none of that. I would actively warn anyone considering Dr. Waddell to stay far away.
