After my grandfather was diagnosed with pneumonia and suffered two hear attacks, he was sent here for short term stay rehabilitation before he was allowed to return home. When I first visited him here, I immediately noticed that the place was very, very clean. In addition, the staff was extremely nice and helpful. They really went out of their way to welcome my family and I, and more importantly, my grandfather.
The physical therapists were more than great. They really incorporated his wants and needs and his strengths and weaknesses in his exercise regimen. He had two specialists focusing on his heart, and one on his lungs. He was able to regain his strength after about one full week there and ditched walking with the walker shortly after that. My grandfather was always a very independent man, and the staff at Elizabeth Seton/Saint Vincent Center gave my grandfather his confidence back. I wouldn't recommend the food however.
All in all, this place is great and the nurses and staff really give you personalized and one on one care. Highly recommended. read more
