I never saw the car I was interested in. A ploy I assume to get me snagged into a more expensive vehicle. I negotiated new tires since the ones on it had little tread. He was irritated by this and decided to try and find another vehicle. He said he couldn't find another one and rudely asked me if I would purchase the car if he would add the the tires in the negotiation. I agreed. I was told to give it a week or two and service would call me to make an appointment. 2.5 weeks later I hadn't heard anything so I called the salesman. He said he would look into it and call me back in the morning. I ended up having to call him that afternoon. This time he said he would call me back in 10 minutes. Again no return call. I waited until the following day before I called him again. I ended up having to call his manager. The manager was very helpful in getting the ball rolling. He was apologetic and in a few days I received a call from the salesman with an appointment with the service department and would have a loaner car for me as well. Which was great since I purchased a used car. He told me to pick up the keys to the loaner from him. He was nowhere to be found when I got there and nobody else knew what was going on. After about a half an hour another salesman showed up with the keys. When I went to pick up my car he again was nowhere to be found. It was another goose chase and another half an hour before I got my car. Now for the dealership review: the manager was great in resolving the problem. Because of the manager I would buy another car from them however as I said in the beginning I would not deal with that salesman.

When we originally told the owner Tim Foley there were issues he ensured us all of them would be fixed with no problems. He is a liar. We have had the car since May 14, and they have had the car in their shop for an accumulated 2 months. It is only September 10. Our car is not in drivable condition, it dies, they have put on differently sized tires, didn't seal the tires and i got stuck on the side of the road for an hour, and then when fixed, the car was lopsided. we have sent two family members to him to purchase cars and both of their cars have had non stop problems. DO NOT GO TO CROSSTOWN MOTORS!

First the Edge had an issue where condensation would build up in the rear tail light, we asked them to fix it and they said they would. After about a month of waiting for the part to come in we called and spoke to Josh Williams himself and he had informed us that they never even ordered the part then on top of that he wanted us to pay for it, after much dismay and arguing he finally agreed to pay for it. When the part came in the service manager had said that they noticed the condensation in the tail light when it was on the lot and they were going to fix it but never did. Second we had purchased the premium protection plan and when we paid for it the finance guy we dealt with informed us that they would call and make an appointment to have it done. After a month of waiting for that we called again and spoke with Mr. Williams and he said since it had been so long he would refund us our money($1000) with a check, when we took the car in for service on the tail light we had told Mr. Williams that we still had not received it. He then told us that it wouldn't be a check but a credit on the loan, needless to say that was 4 months ago and still no credit to the loan. I had bought two previous cars from Mark Williams (Josh's Dad) and had great customer service. Now that Josh owns the company the customer service has gone down the crapper and my family and I will never buy another vehicle from either Mt. Orab Ford or Beechmont Ford. The trouble arose a week later when we discovered the transmission needs to be replaced. Outbacks have a CVT transmission and this one is going bad. Additionally the car needs struts, a belt, bearings, and a battery. All in all the Subaru we purchased from Georgetown Auto Sales needs over $10,000 in work done on it before the first car payment was even made. We spoke with Todd, TJ, and the owner of the lot. Todd felt pretty bad about it but the owner didn't care. Essentially it was completely our problem. I know that legally this is true but how you sleep at night knowing you are ripping people off in the midst of a pandemic is beyond me. He also informed up that Georgetown Auto Sales does not have the used cars they sell inspected by their mechanic. I am a small business owner who is new to Kentucky. This was my first real interaction with another small business in Kentucky. I sincerely hope that this lack of integrity is not endemic to Kentucky. Buyer beware, Georgetown Auto Sales does not stand by their products or their customers.
