The shower floor grossed me out with the yellow stains. There is no hot water when you shower so good luck in the winter especially if you have toddlers, mine were shivering. There isn't anyone at the front desk so you have to text a number if you need anything. Most likely you will be ignored. We stayed in cabin 11 and the heater is loud when it kicks on and you hear banging noises coming from it all night. First and last time we stay here. This place needs better maintenance.

No staff present other than maintenance, not helpful. I had to ring the Office "Ring" doorbell multiple times, I made multiple calls, and sent direct messages but never got a response.Eventually, I had to get Booking involved. Booking couldn't get a response from them either, so Booking recommended that we find another accommodation. This was a very stressful experience. We were in the mountains: not much around. We decided to have dinner while searching for another stay. While having dinner, an unknown number texted me in an unprofessional manner asking that I return to office. I called that number and a man answered. He stated that there was a mistake (no apology) and that the Grand Pine Cabins could accommodate us after-all. I was so frustrated, irritated and confused. He forward a link to self check- in. At that point, it was already dark out and we were exhausted. We decided to proceed with the self check-in through that link he sent... 3 HOURS AND 30 MINUTES LATER WE WERE OFFICIALLY CHECKED IN TO THIS CABIN (3:30pm-7:00pm) !!!! The next morning, when it was time to checkout, I walked over to the office expecting to finally speak with someone IN PERSON regarding our experience. There was still NOBODY PRESENT!!!!!! We had to self checkout via text. After everything, Grand Pines never apologized!! They didn't offer us a discounted stay, or comp us anything. They just took our money and ghosted. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING! This was NOT worth the Total Price of: $255.06 for a very stressful 1 night stay in a standard King room that had dirty bed sheets and a door that couldn't lock from the outside.

I'm an Airbnb connoisseur and know my way well around vacation rentals. Having stayed in many…read morehomes, staying here was literally and figuratively a breath of fresh air. PRC is a cluster of themed cabins on beautiful grounds. There's a man-made creek that runs through the property that I'm guessing runs even during the summer months. The tranquil sound of water fills the area, as does the sweet sound of frogs at night. The grounds are beautiful and make for a lovely evening walk or morning cup of coffee by the koi pond. I will definitely be back to sample the different cabins. Oh, absolutely top notch customer service too from the second we stepped into the main lobby to check in.

Arrowhead Pine Rose Cabins is a family owned establishment and has been for decades. Each of the…read morecabins here are stand-alone cabins on 6 acres of forest. They also have a really nice event / wedding venue on the property. We stayed in the Little House on the Pond cabin which shared a small man-made pond with 3 other cabins. (Side note: Arrowhead Pine Rose Cabins isn't in Lake Arrowhead proper but about a 20 minute drive east on the 189 in the small township of Twin Peaks - which is a nice mountain town but it's a bit of a drive away from Lake Arrowhead) These cabins are really cute. They are rustic yet comfortable - the sofa & chairs are comfy but I wish the sofa was deeper. There are 2 full size beds in the 2 upstairs bedrooms and the beds are super comfy! The one we slept in had a down mattress pad which really upped the comfort. There was also a nice comforter. On the downside, I am tall and I barely fit lengthwise. My feet were on the bottom rail and my head was up against the headboard. Ample parking: our cabin had its own small driveway to park in. The party lights on the deck were really nice for sitting outside on the Adirondack chairs at night. It was also really nice to build a fire in the fireplace on a crisp night. We had a lantern with a dead battery and the maintenance guy came very fast to replace it. There are lots of dishes and cookware to make snacks & meals and they have lots of things you can check out from the office like smore sticks, french presses, orange juicer, veggie steamer, charcoal BBQ, chop sticks and much, much more. On the downside: One of the big reasons we got this cabin was to have a fireplace...and they charge you $10 for a bundle of wood, which is annoying considering how much we paid to stay here (including an $80 resort fee - that doesn't include a bundle of firewood!!?) Tip: We picked up a fire bundle at Grocery Outlet for $6 that was significantly bigger than the one they had sitting by our fireplace for sale. The other big reason we got this particular cabin (Little House on the Pond) was for the big claw tub and it was very disappointing! First of all, you want a claw tub so you can relax & soak in a deep tub, and this tub is not deep enough to stay submerged. When I filled it up and got in, the water drained out the overflow drain until the water that remained in the tub left me half out of the water. You really want to soak in these things and you better do it quick here! (Note: We mentioned this when we checked out and he said they would look into getting a water level extender to put over the drain or something) Also, their hot water heater isn't big enough to last till this tub is full enough to get in. It ran cold after a while and I had to stop filling and let the hot water build back up and do that a few times to have a reasonably warm full bath. The stairs in this cabin are a neck breaker (very steep), almost like a ladder. The bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs. This could potentially be dangerous going to the bathroom in the middle of the night (or for anyone who has a challenge walking). They should at least put in some nightlights on the stairs so you can see them when it is dark. On the admin side, you have to wash all your dishes and take out your own garbage or be charged a $60 fee. I have never (even at lower priced hotels) been told to wash my own dishes and take out my garbage. I kinda get it if you have a big family with 8 or 10 people - I'm sure they've had lots of people leave it a total mess, but for 2 of us it was a bit annoying to pay what we did and have to clean up everything. I mean part of being on vacation is to have people wait on you and not have to worry about these things - especially for what I paid to stay here. Another thing, when we checked in we asked for pool towels and she got us a few but told us in the future we needed to bring our own pool towels...Then what are we paying such a high resort fee for!!? After all is said and done I am giving Arrowhead Pine Rose Cabins 4 stars. Again, this place is cute, nice and very comfortable but with all the dings mentioned above, I can't give it 5 stars.

If you're looking here you're probably wondering if Yaamava played a tricked on you?…read more I'm here to tell you they did. This isn't one of those pleasant jokes, like a gift card that says $10 and really has a $100 loaded on it. You've been pranked. Epic T.V. Show, hidden cameras, scripted level prank. Now to be fair it's not a bad place to stay. The rooms are well furnished the iPads are helpful, the gym is well equipped, they have pictures of the restaurant in the lobby, but I haven't eaten there so I won't comment on that. But that's not to say I don't think I should be given a credit to eat there. With my previous few experiences here I think a free dinner or breakfast is the LEAST they could do to make up for how I was treated. Let's start with the "courtesy call" I made the reservation through the Yaamava VIP host, they took my card info and made the reservation. I made it for the next day and told them I would be around because I had a funeral to attend to. That I would be by to check in after the funeral. So they called me... DURING THEN FUNERAL, that's not what I call a courtesy, it was inhumane. But the manager on duty Ms. Summer put the blame on Yaamava, so we both lamented Yaamava's unprofessionalism. The coup de grâce which really irks me is the deposit policy. Check in isn't until 4pm. Standard, no problem with that. But if you don't check in by 6pm they charge your credit card the full amount of the room. UNACCEPTABLE!!! You have two hours to check in or they charge you an outrageous price? Two hours? Get this if they charge you this ridiculous unexpected rate and your card doesn't go through, they give away your room. What kind of threat is that? Where does it make sense and in whose mind is this policy okay in? The general manager Jason called the next day and acted like this policy was completely normal. You can tell when you're talking to someone who has been trained to gaslight, It's not a normal policy it's crazy. In summary I like staying at Bear Springs, it's not Yaamava not anywhere even close to the same level of luxury but it's still cool. But I hate the deposit policy. The charge stays on your card for weeks. It's like an interest free loan they take EVERY time. It really sucks as far as unnecessary payments go, because they charge you another deposit on top of that when you arrive. It's an utter failure as far as policies go. So just be aware even though you got comped a stay you'll most likely be ripped off the entire amount for a good portion of time. Plus a deposit. Whoever came up with this policy should be scalped a square inch on both temples. Two days later and neither of the charges or deposits or whatever they called these cash grabs have been returned. Have fun coming here, be prepared for their failure of a completely unnecessary and superfluous policy to jack you for a few hundred. But hearing them bad mouth their partner Yaamava is slightly amusing. Overall verdict, this place seems like a strong maybe. Think carefully before staying.

AVOID THIS HOTEL**** Work brought me to Lancaster and got to stay at this hotel for 14 nights and I must say that location is the best part of this hotel. The second best thing is how modern and new this hotel is. It was defenitly better than what I expected. Plus, there's a Starbucks right next door which is a major plus. Reasonable price for all the amenities you recieve. Rooms are super nice and spacious. Loved the full kitchen and how everything was designed/set up. Bathroom was super spacious. The bed was super comfortable. Only negative thing is they charge $10 a night for parking yet my employee's Honda got broken into and they tried stealing it with "security" patrolling the lot. Thankfully the thief couldn't start the car. No cameras apperently in parking lot either. That's really the only negative of this place.

When we arrived in the room, it was a little warm, being that it was such a hot day. I wish we would have walked into a cooler room, but we quickly changed that. I have one little issue and that is the bed. The mattress where I laid was really sunken in and to me was not comfortable. It was a nice location and we felt safe. Would definitely recommend staying here.
