Our stay at Three Springs Ranch was by far one of our favorite rentals! Enjoyable, even during a rainy weekend in the heart of winter, the house provided the most gorgeous landscape with snow-capped mountains in the background and a ton of space on the property to explore. We hated to leave this cozy yet spacious 5-bedroom cabin - Photos do not do this place justice! The set up is perfectly communal with the right amount of privacy, bed space, access to bathrooms and laundry. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The wood burning stove (which we used every day!) was the perfect accent and kept us cozy during card games and at the poker table that comes with the house! The guys played disc golf right outside of the house and our dogs were safe and secure inside the gated property. The teepee was adorable too, however we did not use it on this trip :) Shelly McKnight was beyond helpful in every way imaginable, on the days leading up to our stay, as well as during our stay (she even called to warn us about weather conditions for our drives home. The kitchen is so well stocked, it made cooking such a breeze. I was able to make chocolate soufflés in the kitchen (I just had to bring my own hand mixer and chocolate). Their kitchen appliances, pots, and pans were better than the ones I had at home! Even their gas grill outside looked like it wasn't even touched. The even got wifi, directv, and Netflix hooked up. It was nice having these options even though we didn't spend a lot of time using it. It even had ac in there! After you spend your afternoon walking up and down the river, it's nice to come inside in a well conditioned cabin. The cabin is off the main road but you don't hear too many cars. Especially if your hanging out in the back by the river. All you hear is the river. And plus it was very convenient to have the gas station, convenient stores, souvenir shops etc. just down the road. My friends and I had such a terrific weekend that we were so sad to leave back to the OC. We will definitely be back and recommend this quaint cabin to anyone. FYI: they told us that if your cell phone provider is AT&T you will have better service up there than any other provider. They still have a landline for you to use, which was nice. And don't forget to check out The Doll Nest in the area. It's a shop full of Russian Nesting Dolls and toys! How cute is that!

It's an upstairs place with a balcony and adorable decorations. Markets and restaurants are close by. When we were there, however, the bakery across the street from the property was closed even though sign says open 7 days. No biggie. You can make your own coffee in your room. We cooked our dinner in the outside kitchen. So awesome! But please clean up afterwards because there are bears in the area! We saw a momma bear and her 2 cubs, two days in a row. Loved it! The dogs are super friendly and sweet. They hung out with us until the owner called them. We sat by the river for hours just enjoying nature. As an added bonus, we saw the full moon coming up from behind the mountain. If you're ever in Three Rivers visiting the gorgeous Sequoia National Park, you should stay here. Worth every penny!

Our party reserved the Sequoia Charmed and Kaweah Gem Suites during our visit. I loved that each suite was walking distance to the river and that were lots of places to sit and relax on the way there. I stayed in the Sequoia Charmed Suite. There was a tiny balcony that overlooked the river. The outdoor kitchen was great. There were bikes to borrow, and there was even a ping pong table. The suite was adorable with a tiny kitchenette and a large pullout sofa. We really liked these beautiful suites. The owner, Diana, was thoughtful, and the suites were big, beautiful, and really relaxing. For our next stay in Three Rivers, I would love to stay at this lovely property again.

My private room faced one of the surrounding "Three Rivers," which was astounding to see every morning. The fresh air, trees, and small town vibes were calling to me. This lodge is located just outside of the Sequoia National Forest Park. You can walk to the entrance but it takes an hour to drive up to the main trails and sequoia trees. *Cellular service is spotty here. However, they offer free wifi while staying here. *No Cleaning service here so don't forget to make your bed and clean up after yourself:) if you are OCD like me, lol! *Fresh towels, TP, trash bags, ice, DVDs, games, books are available in the front office. *Each room has "Fresh Organic Coffee Beans, an electric coffee grinder, microwave, small fridge, TV with satellite and a DVD player. *Free parking *Private cabins located across from the lodge with small kitchens and bathrooms.
