Sometime busy life gets us and we just don't end up spending enough time maintaining surroundings of our home. It's the HOA who reminds us of those time which has been super helpful for us. The company does not do what it is suppose to do. Currently our contract with Waste Management has been a concern because they are continually not taking our recyclables unless the lid is completely closed. We are the only ones in our community that this is happening to. I have provided pictures to our Community contact with MSI stating that I do not accept being singled out an that discriminating against. Pictures show some neighbors with lids fully open and mounds of trash piled on the top of the bin so the lid would not even close but Waste Management took them. MSI refuses to enforce the contract with them, we currently pay over $90,000 per year for our community to get discriminated against. MSI DOES NOT CARE - They should be fired as our HOA company. read more

This company avoids providing information on how to file formal complaints. Pushes blame on the Board when things are not addressed. Not professional. Taking longer than 30 days to respond when an status update was requested. Attempting to convey the only way to complain is to show up to the meeting. They will not provide an avenue to contact the Board, who they say is to blame for everything. Also claims they work for free, saying "residents don't pay them directly". Finding every way to not take accountability for the hard questions. Very unprofessional, unreliable and unaccountable. read more

This company wastes money like crazy- sending notices with return receipt requested- to the tune of $6.85 for hundreds of notices sent out. This is not what our HOA money is supposed to be used for. Many notices were for extraordinarily minor things, which makes the wasteful spending even worse. Use the HOA money to address major issues or construction. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICES!!! The lack of urgency and professionalism from the Centennial management team is pretty sad. You literally have to contact them repeatedly to get them to do their jobs and the excuses that come from that office are ridiculous. Sad when the general consensus in the complex is that the property management is incompetent and useless and you have to involve other business entities to get things done in the complex, however MSI and the board seems to continue to collect their dues and continue to neglect their properties. Also crazy when the Director tries to normalize living in a roach infestation that lasted over 5 months by sharing how she lived with roaches regularly because she was from down south. Well we up here in the North, don't enjoy sharing our residence with roaches. I had to involve the housing authorities as well as the department of health as there was an infestation throughout the building and it took MSI over a month to get an exterminator out to the property to spray, 3 microwaves, a dishwasher, washer/dryer, 2 toasters and several months of living in unhealthy conditions, MSI finally had someone out after having to escalate the issue to the state departments. Community has hired legal advice and to help fix the problem. Has no accountability and have basically left the place a incomplete and won't help fix anything! read more

UPDATE: A violation has been written by the Master HOA of the neighborhood as the temporary fence is in fact in violation of the covenants, MSI failed to enforce this so it went to the next level. I was offered to be able to meet with the board, but not until December...it is August. No reply from the President can excuse this poor enforcement of covenants and lack of attention by MSI. read more

My experience with them has been horrible. I received a request to remove a contractor's sign. It was immediately removed then an email was sent to them to advise them which they confirmed they received. Then they proceed to put me on some harassment list. Sending me certified mail and then threatening letters of fines. They communicate by threats and are completely disorganized to even update their records. Two months later, I'm still getting letters even though they confirmed 6 weeks ago. I asked for their records to be updated with the people listed. There have been a list of issues with this company working with homeowners about doing the right thing. read more

This is concerning the HOA for Kingsmill Townhomes in Westminster Colorado. We have had a terrible parking lot chug hole problem going on 4 years now as of this next coming winter. Kate Josey who is the community manager( She Inherited this issue from the last manager ) and Ray Ramelow who is her boss have done absolutely nothing to address this issue.( I have kept all the e-mails too) These Idiots had a sump pump put in the neighbors basement because of a flooding issue and they ran the overflow out into the parking lot which only freezes during the winter. Every time I bring up the issue they say it is up to the people on the board to take action. They will not tell me who and when I can talk to on the board about this issue. If anyone can point me in the right direction to take the next course of action I would really appreciate it. Our community has had MSI management for 21 years. NO MORE! Long ago, they were fine. In fact, Kelly Brown, our manager, did a good job. But when she left our community 4 years ago, it has been hassle after hassle. There has been ridiculous turnover -- multiple managers we have to get up to speed. The communication has been awful. They do not answer their phones. Things discussed in monthly meetings are not done. The status of problems and projects doesn't change from month to month (For example, it took 5 months to get two lights fixed.) When mistakes in the financials were brought to their attention, the same mistakes existed for every following meeting. The board doesn't receive packets in a timely manner. We receive the packet 30 minutes before the meeting begins -- which allows for no time to look it over. We wonder what we pay for. Moreover, MSI has horrible technology. Our last manager has a computer that (she claims) doesn't send her emails. The board gets a small percentage of the emails she says were sent. Lastly, their internet is completely unreliable. We have had multiple meetings cancelled because our manager could not get on and stay in the meeting. Although the employees are friendly and kind, if you want your community actually managed, look elsewhere.t read more
