They have beautiful options and their staff is friendly. I have been dealing with a nightmare kitchen countertop experience and MS International is part of it. One of their staff members told us the marble we were coming to look at was not in stock and gave us bad advice on choosing a different kind of marble. That staff member assured us we would be fine with the slab we picked. First, that slab turned out to be too thin and our installer wouldn't work with it, so I picked a thicker slab of the same type of marble only to find out that Home Depot (who we ordered the countertop through) would not approve it. After (literally) 2 months of trying to get countertops installed we still don't have them. We also found out last week that MS International did, in fact, have the original marble we came to look at in stock that day - and that staff member we had been working with mistakenly told us it was not in stock - so some of this headache could have been avoided from the get-go. Overall my husband and I have wasted about 12-15 hours driving to 2 different MS International locations on 3 separate occasions to try to pick a damn slab. I will say I am utterly baffled by the overall incompetence I have experienced during this process- most of the blame lies with Home Depot, but MS International played their part as well. read more

I was in for the third time struggling to make my final selection, on my second visit I went in with three favorites and came out with five. On my third visit I had narrowed my favorites down to two. John was very professional and knowledgeable about their products. He gave me guidance I had not received in locating the choices I wanted to see on the floor in terms of the guide sheet and the letter/number markers on the floor. He was helpful and provided pointers on how to help narrow down my final choice. He worked with other associates to help me see a new batch of my final choice to help ensure it was what I wanted and the 2 slabs we need will be basically the same. My drive in was close to an hour so I was hesitate to make the third trip but I am very happy and feel comfortable that I will be satisfied when the installation is completed by Ilkem Granite. Yesterday I went to M S International with a Client to select Stone Slabs for her kitchen. I've done this maybe 50 times in the last 5 years. M S International has raised the bar quite a bit. The display area had significant slab stock; it was clean and neat, and new items were show-cased well. What made our tour of the the slab stacks rewarding was the informative peppering of observations and explanations by our Customer Service Representative. Five or six points made by Susan McKinney were new to me, and very helpful. My Client was impressed. Susan was attentive, informative, knowledgeable, patient, and stuck with us for two hours with a pleasantness that made this sometimes stressed experience both rewarding and successful. This place rocks (no pun intended). Don't know where those other reviewers came from but with such a well displayed selection of granite, quartz, marble as well as many other varieties of stone and stone work (lobby), you won't be disappointed. Seen a many such places and I would recommend highlyl. Picked my stone and a week later it was installed. I could care less who they sell their stones to. It's STONE. Just because Home Depot sells it doesn't make it inferior to someone else selling it, does it??? And since they don't quote prices to the public and don't even sell to the public I'm thinking that all of the responsibility falls on your contractor, not MSI. read more

I was looking for a very specific granite and had been to 2 other locations before going to MSI. We went on a Saturday morning and the place was very busy yet we were immediately greeted and there were enough staff to wait on us right away. They had a large selection of granite and I was able to find exactly what I was looking for. We went back a few days later with our cabinet sample and again we were greeted immediately and were brought around the warehouse. We recently visited MSI Baltimore to select a piece of granite for our new kitchen. From the moment we walked in the door, everybody was so customer service focused and friendly that even if there had been a limited supply to choose from, I still would've been satisfied with the visit. However, I was blown away by quantity and selection of quartz and granite in the warehouse and I am now considering other applications so we can have more granite in our home! My wife, daughter, and I visited the MSI show room in Jessup, MD to select a granite slab to replace a kitchen countertop. Lynda Oiwo met us at the door and escorted us around the sample slabs and answered all of our questions. She then took us to her computer to show us how the slabs we selected would fit it with various kitchens. She was very knowledge of the product and was very courteous and warm during our entire search. We had a wonderful experience at MSI stone in Jessup, Md. I took my client to pick out their kitchen countertop and the whole process was easy and everyone was nice and knowledgeable about the products. They didn't have the stones we wanted to see on the showroom floor, so they took the time to pull them from their stock area. There is such a large selection of every type of stone! We ended up getting a Gorgeous hard marble!!! They don't sell directly to the public so you do have to have a dealer to send your piece too. read more

He was kind, patient and made some good suggestions for choice. It took my wife a while to find MSI in the industrial park setting, truck bays, and narrow vehicle path. But once inside, the ladies at the front desk were extremely friendly, and cordial. The girl showed us the granite patterns in the warehouse and offered her opinions on different slabs. She even got a worker to move a slab so we could see the pattern of the other, behind it. The employees and showroom at MSI were wonderful. Remodeling a kitchen is not easy and a once in a lifetime experience for most people. I walked into MSI feeling very overwhelmed and walked out feeling calm and carrying samples for countertops, flooring and backsplash tile. Visited on 10/24/22 - met with John (who mentioned they were short-staffed). He searched for and pulled the best sample/granite slab of the "Sunset Canyon" in-stock for me to view. Their warehouse/shop is well-organized, clean and they are very professional ppl. Work safely - had me wear a hard-hat for the visit. This was the 5th or 6th place we went to find a kitchen counter. I was truly amazed at how much this business excelled beyond all the others. The showroom is beautiful. I have visited the Jessup location several times trying to pick out countertops for my kitchen remodel. Every time I have entered the door I am always greeted professionally and politely. When I went for my slab selections, the young woman was very helpful and everyone was so nice. Would definitely recommend this place. Not to mention they have a lot to choose from. read more
