The heart-shaped design of the flower wall he designed for me was also unique to the area. He was flexible in designing my custom wall and got back to me quickly. I also rented awesome steel marquee letters from him and he threw in some gorgeous barn tables as part of the rental! Highly recommend his flower walls, shrub walls, barn tables, and marquee letter rental services. His prices and quality are impressive! Matt is a total pro, a true artist, and his additions to my wedding really made our decor and photos pop by adding such elegance and color. I can't recommend him enough!!!! Thank you, Matt and your team for making my wedding (and the photos) so so gorgeous!

I must say, that I continue to be impressed with The Loading Dock, in Baltimore, MD…read more Their address is: The Loading Dock, 2 N Kresson St Baltimore, MD 21224, in case you still want to contribute financially. I believe that you can either write it to the "General Fund" or "Whatever Needs it the Most" as it seems now that they are truly expanding their options again to all different types of programs to help serve the area or the staff so "Yahoo" for them! I believe checks are their preference but you can call to see at their phone #410-558-DOCK (3625) ~ and "antique person like me" needs the letters spelled out so there you go!! As I continue to say "All That's Old is New Again" ~ Tysm for TLD, as they give me lots of design inspirations. Can't believe we are over 3/4 of the way over in 2026! I've only been able to contribute financially so far, but it's always well appreciated in any amount of Contribution by the staff. Whoops! I let my membership run out ~ Aha! Just fixed that! It seems that Membership Application still costs the same amount of some of those "stinkin' cute windows and doors of the olden days - Any 2 Cardholders; $10 Annual Fee (on the same card). It's on the website: https://www.loadingdock.org/membership_purchase/index.html It appears after testing out my review this link not only goes "live" to the membership area, but to the entire site ~ even shows the different items, parts of the store, how to get there ~ and now you don't have to worry about ending up in another's State's TLD! I guess there's a first time everything. "High Props" and Congrats to the Loading Dock in Baltimore MD, for to keeping your membership and prices so stinkin' low and your items so stinkin' cute all these years long ~ MANY people couldn't make it without you. You continue to be the best in service "and CLASS all the Way Around" at least in B'mor Hon' at least a far as I can see. Way to go TLD and staff, since its inception! ~ AMF

We also recently discovered Second Chance, which we thought was awesome. So, we were excited when we found out about this place. The amount of wood that they had was amazing! It was a fantastic assortment of different quality kinds of wood, at very reasonable prices! They have a great selection of items that you might need for your home, whether you are remodeling, or just looking to add a few new pieces to your decor. I did not realize until I looked at their website that they have a $10 per year membership fee. However, for the quality of items you get at such amazing prices, it's definitely worth it to support a great non-profit.

I walked in, said I wanted to just browse, and was immediately given a 20 minute tour of their huge warehouse space. What you see out front is just the front door. I spent quite a while looking thru everything and then bought the slabs in my picture. All 2+ feet high and 2+ inches thick. All of that for $220 with their weekend sale. I really like that everything they sell is truly reclaimed wood, mostly from fallen trees or areas where trees are being removed and would then be otherwise thrown out or burned. My haul from left to right: - Black Walnut - Ash - 2 White Oak from the same cut so I can somehow book match them - Sycamore (need to read more about this) - And a Red Oak cutoff they threw in for free. This is from the Monocacy Civil War Battlefield. Some trees were being cleared and were ready to be thrown away!!! Really unique. Will definitely be returning!!!
