We do a lot of gardening, and while I expected them to be able to calculate the amount of soil we needed based on the measurements of the space we wanted to fill, I did not expect them to ask what we intended to grow so they could bring a blend of soil blended just for that. The deliveries have always been very smooth, and they have made sure to place it exactly where we wanted every time, and the drivers even hang out to consult on other projects when we have questions. I walked in, said I wanted to just browse, and was immediately given a 20 minute tour of their huge warehouse space. What you see out front is just the front door. I spent quite a while looking thru everything and then bought the slabs in my picture. All 2+ feet high and 2+ inches thick. All of that for $220 with their weekend sale. I really like that everything they sell is truly reclaimed wood, mostly from fallen trees or areas where trees are being removed and would then be otherwise thrown out or burned. My haul from left to right: - Black Walnut - Ash - 2 White Oak from the same cut so I can somehow book match them - Sycamore (need to read more about this) - And a Red Oak cutoff they threw in for free. This is from the Monocacy Civil War Battlefield. Some trees were being cleared and were ready to be thrown away!!! Really unique. Will definitely be returning!!!

I walk in this place at 9 o'clock straight up. Look at my phone and notice that. It's now 934 and I am walking out the door, after three different people paged three different times for me to get help in the tool department so that I could buy chargers, batteries, and a Dewalt drill. I'll take my $500 to someone how can at least FAKE like they give a damn. No one ever showed up, which makes the fact that the tools aren't priced, even more irritating. I wish Menards was a nationwide chain because they blow the doors off of both Lowe's and Home Depot and I'd never set foot in either of those worthless chains again.
