On June 10, 2026, Kirsten Hornbeck and I visited MSI as customers working with Capitol Granite to select a countertop slab for our project. We narrowed our choices to three selections: Calacatta Abezzo, Calacatta Laza, and Calacatta Delios.
Unfortunately, our experience with Brittany was very disappointing. When we arrived, she was on her cell phone. After ending her call, she briefly acknowledged us by handing us a clipboard and telling us to go through the doors into the warehouse. We were given no explanation of the process, no offer of assistance, and were essentially left to figure everything out on our own.
While speaking with us, Brittany was applying her lipstick, which came across as very unprofessional and gave the impression that assisting customers was not a priority. I had several questions about the different slab options and the selection process, but she acted as though we were inconveniencing her. Her responses were short, dismissive, and made us feel unwelcome.
It's been a few weeks since our visit, and I wasn't planning to leave a review. However, after recently speaking with a friend who described having a nearly identical experience with Brittany, I realized our interaction was likely not an isolated incident. Hearing that someone else was treated the same way is what prompted me to share this review.
Choosing a countertop is a significant purchase, and we expected a much higher level of customer service. We were hoping for someone who could answer our questions, explain the differences between products, and help us make an informed decision. Instead, we left feeling frustrated by the lack of professionalism and customer care.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future customers working with Capitol Granite and visiting MSI receive the professional, courteous service they deserve. read more
