Haircuts take around an hour, but coloring services can take over 3 hours and are hard to book. You can book haircuts kind of last minute but book coloring a month in advance if you can!

While disappointing results can sometimes happen, what bothered me most was the complete lack of communication afterward. I reached out to Masaki on May 13 regarding my concerns and attempted to resolve the issue privately. I never received a response. It has now been about a month, and despite giving plenty of time for a reply, I have been ignored. I did not immediately leave reviews or make public comments because I wanted to give him the opportunity to address the situation directly. Unfortunately, that opportunity was never taken. For $480, I expected a higher standard of work and customer service. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Masaki.

I can't even get it fixed because it is so much shorter than I wanted. There are huge "texture" discrepancies all over my hair, the most obvious being in the back near my neck. There's also a strand of hair far longer than the entire length of my bob cut. I don't even understand how this happened. I'm so traumatized. I would never recommend this place and will never ever come back. I really had 1 chance to get a cut as a treat to myself, since I really don't have extra time to spare. And now I have to live with this until it grows out, definitely more than 6 more months. If I could give -1000 stars, I would. Please do yourself a favor and find a salon that can do a nice cut for long AND SHORT hair. WITHOUT A PERM TO MAKE IT ALL STRAIGHT FIRST. The skill level here is just so sub par. I could have done it myself.

Most of my massages are pretty rough but she did a great job with light to medium pressure. I really liked the glass of champagne and the chocolate truffles. The private soak was nice but I really enjoyed the sauna. It was definitely a great experience. Came out feeling revitalized. My boyfriend really enjoyed the massage and the amenities.

I'm always on the lookout for a fair value from reliable stylist with a great personality. Yeah it's relative, but I don't quite get it when the personal upkeep bill exceeds a car payment, but on the other hand, I feel pretty good that I don't have Rogaine envy or need to rock the shaolin monk dome because I'd look more like a sloppy dragonball character or a terrible Mister Clean. Haircut Store and stylist Brittany did a great job with cleaning my 'do. The cute receptionist greeted me and got me checked in promptly. As a walk-in customer, the wait time is reasonable and there are nearby diversions in the shopping plaza to browse if it's busy, so make an appointment whenever possible. The actual haircut was worth mentioning because I was pleased with the overall experience. Brittany took the time to ask the right stylist questions, confirm, and clarify about what, where, and cutting lengths. She's also pleasantly conversational and I felt at ease. I was also impressed with the attention to detail, especially because she accommodated a second rinse to wash out the fine cuttings after the usual shampoo, conditioner, and haircut. I thought that going the extra mile was great because I've felt rushed on and off the haircut chair with some other bargain chop shops. Ladies, I'll have to update their product listing sometime on a future review update. I can't discuss the differences with you between premium salon quality or bargain bin shovelware because I'm an uncool dude, but they may carry a specific item or brand of interest that keeps your rainforest moist, so I'll let you know later. read more

I have never written a review. But I decided to write one because I have been mentally thanking my hairdresser every day since I got my hair done. I came to her with a dirty-dark brown pharmacy hair-dye mishap and never expected that I could become a convincingly natural looking blond after just one visit. Luda did an amazing job - she worked fast, but was very tedious - she wrapped very thin slices of my hair in foil, covering my whole head, resulting in a very natural, shimmering look. Luda is not one of those hairdressers who praise the work they did as a masterpiece and then when you leave, after just one wash & style at home, you end up looking like an alley cat after a bath. On the contrary, I couldn't believe what a great job she did the next day, and the day after that, and the day after that...and now it's been a month, and I decided it's time to write a review. MARY- all I have to say!!! I am so incredibly pleased with my haircut. I have gone to several different hair salons, but with no luck finding an individual who would cut/color the way I want, or even close for that matter. I was so impressed with the way Mary had cut my sister's hair (the color is beautiful too) that I made the appointment two days later. I love my grey hair but keeping it looking good is tough. Luda (one of their stylist/ hair color specialist) is amazing - We do a straightening treatment that keeps my hair looking amazing! It is a fussy process for it to come out right - so I only trust Luda to do it. She is precise and highly experienced to make sure it comes out perfect. How is the promotional offer of 20% off only for new customers when the multiple text notifications I received mentioned nothing about it only being for new customers? How come the receptionist never mentioned to me that the 20% off only applied to new customers when I myself informed her that I'm a returning customer? On top of that, Shelly who is my hairstylist also mentioned the 20% off discount to me herself knowing that I'm a long time customer? When I explained this to Melodi, she made the excuse that their texts had "accidentally" sent that when it was only intended for new clients. She also said that the receptionist who answered the phone was new & only there temporarily. Melodi seems to have an excuse for everything. But she forgot to give an excuse for Shelly mentioning the discount to me. Then, Melodi indicated that I have "a lot of hair that's really coarse & thick" so it made me realize that they were purposely targeting me. They basically were intentionally not trying to offer me the 20% discount just because of my hair's texture. They basically discriminate & try to take advantage of clients who have long hair that's coarse & thick. How ridiculous is that. I requested to speak to the owner multiple times & nobody ever got back to me. There's two owners to this hair salon & I asked to speak to either one directly because I wanted to file a complaint. What they did is not right. Little do they know that I got many businesses shut down & this business could easily be next if I want to do the same. Don't play with me & definitely do NOT try me because I ain't the one. I know for a fact you guys don't get clients like myself often; the ones who offer drinks & food, along with providing a generous tip to the hairstylist & assistant. Disgusting establishment with unprofessional employees (Melodi). The fact that you guys treat your most loyal & sweetest client like this is truly disappointing. I have treated everyone with the utmost respect. P.S. You can report my review all you want. I will keep reposting it. If you'd like, I can also have other family members & friends who I have referred to you guys, leave the same rating for your business. This negative review could've been avoided if the owner had reached out to me.

I have been getting highlights for 20 years and this is the worst experience I have ever had. Upon…read morearrival I told them I wanted to try bayalage and they told me my hair already was bayalage and then instead proceeded to place foils in my hair. I probably should have stopped the process there but I was a bit confused about what was going on and thought perhaps they were transitioning between the two. The color: A full head of highlights took an hour and 40 minutes to place. The process was remarkably slow in comparison to the usual 40 minutes I am accustomed to. Afterwards my hair was streaky, orange, with persistent dark roots (see photos). It looks entirely unnatural and nothing like the photos I presented them with. I communicated this to them and they offered to fix it but the process took so long I had to leave. The cut: The right side is longer than the left overall an Asymmetric haircut. The blowout: The technique used to blow out my hair was archaic. No products were placed in my hair to protect it and the stylist proceeded to scorch my hair and fry it- inevitably causing severe damage. A portion of my scalp also burned in the process and a day later it remains red, painful, and is starting to peel. The Cost: My friend who has been going to this salon for years told me she pays $65 for a haircut and $200 for her highlights. I received a bill for $410- $290 for highlights and $120 for a cut. I questioned this and they insisted it was the correct amount. After tip I paid $500 for the worst hair experience I have ever had. Why I received a much higher price than my friend is unclear and the team was unwilling to explain this to me. Customer service: The staff was actually quite kind and willing to fix the issues. However given the fiat pricing and the terrible hair color and scalp burning I elected not to return to have my hair fixed. Overall: Horrible, hideous unnatural coloring that took an excessively long amount of time to do. The process was physically painful with damage occurring to my hair and scalp. Avoid this salon at all costs.
