I used to love this place but this will be my last visit. Both the front desk and stylist were cold and unfriendly. I asked for ash brown (which I usually get) but I got a way lighter color than expected and the bleach (he went over the bleach twice) really damaged my hair. On top of that, they charged me for a haircut I never asked for. During the balayage, the stylist cut/thinned (no idea what he did because he never asked me) some of my hair (maybe 10 "snips"?) and they later charged me an additional $70 for the "haircut." This really pissed me off because in the middle of my appointment, I even heard an assistant ask in Mandarin "is she getting a haircut?" and the stylist shook his head. That said, pretty standard pricing for the location. If you're going to bleach your hair, you'd probably get the most out of it by trying a funky cool color but I just like the natural look. I've been getting my hair bleached by Kelvin every 10 weeks for the past 2 years. He does an amazing job making sure he is on the same page as me when it comes to the color I want. Usually I go with a pastel pink but have also done silver, purple, blonde, and brown with him. He has increbible attention to detail and control with his bleach. Even though I get routine bleaching, my hair still feels silky smooth with minimal breakage. Of course with a good stylist, you have to do your due diligence to maintain it well with hair masks and serums at home. Kelvin is the only person I trust with my hair and have gone to see him for everything from bleaching, hair cut, styling, and recently keratin treatment! I have frizzy hair and had to iron it pretty much everyday but now my hair is silky smooth and the bleach part (I had a pink peekaboo done) seems to be much stronger.
