I purchased a Groupon for tattoo removal here, not really sure what the service would be like. I had done other tattoo removal and understood the process and that some inks were harder to remove than others. This tattoo was my first and almost 17 years old with no color and wanted it removed due to lack of quality and preventing me from tattooing my whole back without being limited to a cover up. In the past I had little luck barely lightening tattoos after 3 sessions. After going here for just one session, this is the most progress I've ever seen with anyone getting tattoo removal. I would say it's at least 50% lighter, with some spots completely gone. I will try to update a couple months after my second session so results have time to truly settle in. read more

I came in here when I first moved here to do my tattoo removal and only went to one . It seems like the machine they used was very weak, I've had many sessions to remove (2 full sleeves) and I could tell it didn't do anything from immediately after( frosting) to a few months later, I didn't notice any difference from how it normally works. I did get a Groupon and even though it says you can purchase again they do not allow that. Maybe that's something they should put it on for people purchasing in the future a few people do mention it on the Groupon website. read more

I just got scam from this place today. My coworker told me to try this place out since she got the relief from the clogged milk ducts through massage. I tried to call both the locations in Irvine that listed in their website. Both phone numbers are invalid. I filled the contact us. I got a phone call right away. They said their package of 10 visits is $1500 in total. I said I want to try one session first to see if it really works before I signing up for the package. The lady on the phone said it is $150 a visit. So I scheduled an appointment an hour later. She even confirmed the address through text message. I came to the place. They told me just put my first name, last name, initials for a few paperwork. I am thinking in my head that I never sign many paperwork like this when I walked into the spa before. (Wait for it- long story). I didn't have a chance to read all of the papers. ( just because I trust my coworker, it's also my big mistake who knows what they told me to sign). They took me to the room. The receptionist who just asked me to sign the paper told me that she will come back after she find out which procedure that my coworker did either use massage or use machine method. She never came back or asked for my coworker name to find out. I told the massage lady that I have milk blockage for 3 days. She told me to lay down and started to massage my left breast after applying the warm towels. The process is painful but my coworker warmed me ahead of time. Then the massage lady asked if my head is hurt. And she said she will massage my head later to relieve my headache. After massage my head she told me that I still have 10 mins left in my session so she went back to massage my left breast. 5 mins before ending my session. One lady poked her head through the door and told her that my session just 40 mins and why it took to long. The massage lady told her that she thought that it was the 90 mins session. It showed me that they don't communicate with each other really well themselves. I was asked to put on clothes and paid in the front. The lady same front desk lady told me when shall I returned for the next session. How about next Wednesday. From that moment, everything got ugly. I never said I will buy the package of 10 session. They said how about I buy 5 sessions with $750. I said I just pay for this session only and decide later. I still had the milk blockage plus more sore after the massage. Then the scam slowly review, they told me that the session is only 45 mins which costs $200 ( not a single person mentioned anything about $200 per session) . The head massage is 45 mins which cost $100. So my total is $300 which is double than our initial verbal agreement on the phone. So the massage tech did not tell me that the head massage was the extra. And they did not tell their massage tech it was the 45 mins session. The massage tech did 90 mins and it was on me to pay for their miscommunication internally and not clear communication upfront. I was so upset. I said I want the copy of the paperwork. She said no. And told me to take picture of this page only( attached image) . Pay for one session and never intend to go back. It is a very shady business. Don't know why they still last that long in Irvine. I wish I read all the reviews before I made the appointment. Like other people already mentioned in previous reviews "Please read one start review". They are so true. No one can do anything legally since customers already signed all the paperwork. And they built the system that they still can stay in business and scam customers at the same time. I came in and another nurse or lady there told me I needed to purchase 3 separate 12 square inch tattoo removal packages because it was bigger than expected totaling $405. Ridiculous idiot lady wasting my time saying her co worker made a mistake and then she tried to upsell and scam me by saying they can do 1 tattoo removal session this time if I buy a facial package? Before coming here, I read the reviews on Yelp and saw that a lot of people rated this place poorly due to the language barrier and difficulty making an appointment. When you call to make your appointment, keep it in mind that they are trying their best, English may not be their first language, and that this store is located in a very asian-centric area. Once you make an appointment, the check-in process is simple and smooth. If it's your first visit, they have you sign papers and explain the process. Each room is very clean and dimly lit. I did ask about other services, and the representative explained each one without pushing me to buy or add more to my pre-existing package. Yes, sometimes when you try to reserve a spot for a massage or other treatment, it's hard to communicate on the phone but, once you are there they do their best to cater to your needs. She asked me "your first time" I said "yes" but actually I have esthetician license so I know how the facial process should be done. Got a Groupon for tattoo removal and made an appt and showed up and there was a communication barrier off the start and she proceeds to pull out a measuring tape to measure my tattoo which is fine but was so strict that my tattoo which is 1.25x.5 inches was t acceptable and she said I'd have to pay the difference for 2x2 since the 1x1 is too small. I'm sorry? I was barely over the 1 inch but I'm saying 1.25 to be generous. If my tattoo is .5 inches on one side and a tiny bit over 1 inch on the other, you are going to make me pay more? I told her if you're looking at total space, I'm still less than 1 square inch but because the length on a side is the tiniest bit over 1 inch you are going to be stingy? NO THANKS. As a birthday treat, I came for a one hour massage and thirty minute body wrap. It's an Asian salon, and I only point that out because A) the style is a bit different from Swedish or deep tissue B) Total nudity is not a problem for them. This is a cultural thing and bodies are not sexualized or shamed. If that is weird for you, get over it or try another spa. The massage therapist was warm and friendly. She didn't take any time to consult my needs beforehand, but she checked in with me throughout the service to make sure I was comfortable and the pressure was right. I purchased a groupon for 3 tattoo removal treatments. My first 2 treatments were seamless to schedule and have the service provided. For some reason, my 3rd and last treatment had been impossible to schedule! I have been calling for the past 2 months and am told different availability for scheduling such as only weekdays, then only certain weekdays, etc (which I found odd since one of my treatments was over the weekend). I continually have to review my schedule and contact them back with days they said were available come to find out that the new person I am speaking to will tell me they are not available. I reached out to Groupon to ask that they refund me the 1 treatment pro-rated upon my purchase since there seems to be a great deal of confusion when attempting to schedule. They asked me to have the merchant email me when I try to schedule to show my attempts in writing. I had asked for an email for todays call to show my attempts with 4 different dates provided ranging in weekday and notice period going out to January 31st. I was told that they are unable to provide this simple request. So, I let them know I would need to submit a review to provide the account in writing as requested by Groupon. It's unfortunate that this service nose dived like this. I have had a handful of tattoo removal sessions by other places and never had this type of issue. They refused to give me a full refund even though I had not used their service once. She explained that the other half needed to be approved by upper management and it would probably take weeks. I've never heard of this type of nonsense before.
