The treatment rooms can get a bit loud; you can clearly hear people talking outside, and I think having more louder ambient music would help create a more relaxing atmosphere. During my facial extractions, the process felt rushed. I understand extractions can be uncomfortable, but the pressure felt harsher than necessary,. I originally purchased a facial/massage package at their Chino location and had a great experience there, scheduling was smooth and the staff was professional. I had two sessions left on my package and since we moved to Orange County, I decided to book them at the Irvine location instead. I called ahead to schedule both remaining sessions (massage followed by facial on the same day) and even confirmed the appointment twice over the phone. Everything seemed set. But when I showed up on the day of the appointment, after driving 20 miles, the front desk told me there was no appointment under my name. Super disappointing experience compared to the Chino branch. It's frustrating to have wasted time and gas due to poor scheduling and lack of accountability. Now we may never get to use our remaining sessions since we're moving out of SoCal. read more

A new tech ended up removing my tattoos and she wasn't as skilled as they last one or knowledgeable.. she severely burned my skin and it took almost a year of scar gels and treatments for it to look somewhat normal. I am left with loss of pigmentation of my skin and permanent scarring and I won't be able to remove the ink fully due to the damage that was left behind. read more

I purchased a Groupon for 2 moles removal @ $24.50. When I called to make the appointment, a girl told me that they might charge me more for bigger moles like $30 to $50. When I went there, the girl wanted to charge me $250 instead as a special discount price. I asked if they could remove one mole of less than 1mm, she then wanted to charge me $100. Their deal was actually for moles of needle point size (she showed me on her arm) which are hardly visible. So don't be fooled by their Groupon deals! The front desk staff are careless with appointments! They erroneously canceled one of my facials and another time tried to confirm me for a day I never booked. They also don't properly control the sound of the music in the appointment rooms--it's either way too soft or too loud. I purchased a Groupon for tattoo removal here, not really sure what the service would be like. I had done other tattoo removal and understood the process and that some inks were harder to remove than others. This tattoo was my first and almost 17 years old with no color and wanted it removed due to lack of quality and preventing me from tattooing my whole back without being limited to a cover up. In the past I had little luck barely lightening tattoos after 3 sessions. After going here for just one session, this is the most progress I've ever seen with anyone getting tattoo removal. I would say it's at least 50% lighter, with some spots completely gone. I will try to update a couple months after my second session so results have time to truly settle in. read more

I have been coming here for over 3+ years, and this is my first time writing a review. There are some great and not so great experiences with this place, I would have put 3.5 stars but yelp only allows 1 star increment. For service, I don't think they are not the best communicator. For instance, there are multiple times I made appointments and they cannot start on time. I would have waited 15 - 20 minutes and during those waiting time, there is no explanation / apology to me at all. I would have to ask them if they are late and then they would explain. There are 2 times I end up leaving since they are so late to my appointment (which I was 10 minutes early) and there was no compensation to my loss of time as well. Also, there is this one time I was trying to have an appointment for a back facial and they have confirmed the price via text. However, when I went in for the back facial, they said the price mentioned in the text is no longer valid and they will not honor. The price they provided at the front desk was double what they provided via text. I end up cancelling the appointment and went home. Again, waste of my time. In terms of the facial, I actually like it a lot. The lady that helped me was very professional and it was one of the best facial I have in a while. My face feels really clean and moisturized afterwards. Additionally, I think the effect of the facial was lasting. Usually 2 weeks after the facial, my skin still feels tighter and glowy. If you can deal with the miscommunication and poor management, the I can think is ok trying since the facial itself was good. However, beware that the front desk will PUSH you to buy packages. You can be stern, but they are persistent. read more

I came in here when I first moved here to do my tattoo removal and only went to one . It seems like the machine they used was very weak, I've had many sessions to remove (2 full sleeves) and I could tell it didn't do anything from immediately after( frosting) to a few months later, I didn't notice any difference from how it normally works. I did get a Groupon and even though it says you can purchase again they do not allow that. I just got scam from this place today. My coworker told me to try this place out since she got the relief from the clogged milk ducts through massage. I tried to call both the locations in Irvine that listed in their website. Both phone numbers are invalid. I filled the contact us. I got a phone call right away. They said their package of 10 visits is $1500 in total. I said I want to try one session first to see if it really works before I signing up for the package. The lady on the phone said it is $150 a visit. So I scheduled an appointment an hour later. She even confirmed the address through text message. I came to the place. They told me just put my first name, last name, initials for a few paperwork. I am thinking in my head that I never sign many paperwork like this when I walked into the spa before. (Wait for it- long story). I didn't have a chance to read all of the papers. ( just because I trust my coworker, it's also my big mistake who knows what they told me to sign). They took me to the room. The receptionist who just asked me to sign the paper told me that she will come back after she find out which procedure that my coworker did either use massage or use machine method. She never came back or asked for my coworker name to find out. I told the massage lady that I have milk blockage for 3 days. She told me to lay down and started to massage my left breast after applying the warm towels. The process is painful but my coworker warmed me ahead of time. Then the massage lady asked if my head is hurt. And she said she will massage my head later to relieve my headache. After massage my head she told me that I still have 10 mins left in my session so she went back to massage my left breast. 5 mins before ending my session. One lady poked her head through the door and told her that my session just 40 mins and why it took to long. The massage lady told her that she thought that it was the 90 mins session. It showed me that they don't communicate with each other really well themselves. I was asked to put on clothes and paid in the front. The lady same front desk lady told me when shall I returned for the next session. How about next Wednesday. From that moment, everything got ugly. I never said I will buy the package of 10 session. They said how about I buy 5 sessions with $750. I said I just pay for this session only and decide later. I still had the milk blockage plus more sore after the massage. Then the scam slowly review, they told me that the session is only 45 mins which costs $200 ( not a single person mentioned anything about $200 per session) . The head massage is 45 mins which cost $100. So my total is $300 which is double than our initial verbal agreement on the phone. So the massage tech did not tell me that the head massage was the extra. And they did not tell their massage tech it was the 45 mins session. The massage tech did 90 mins and it was on me to pay for their miscommunication internally and not clear communication upfront. I was so upset. I said I want the copy of the paperwork. She said no. And told me to take picture of this page only( attached image) . Pay for one session and never intend to go back. It is a very shady business. Don't know why they still last that long in Irvine. I wish I read all the reviews before I made the appointment. Like other people already mentioned in previous reviews "Please read one start review". They are so true. No one can do anything legally since customers already signed all the paperwork. And they built the system that they still can stay in business and scam customers at the same time. I came in and another nurse or lady there told me I needed to purchase 3 separate 12 square inch tattoo removal packages because it was bigger than expected totaling $405. Ridiculous idiot lady wasting my time saying her co worker made a mistake and then she tried to upsell and scam me by saying they can do 1 tattoo removal session this time if I buy a facial package? Huh?? Why would I need a facial package when I came in for something completely different trash scam business old lady. Before coming here, I read the reviews on Yelp and saw that a lot of people rated this place poorly due to the language barrier and difficulty making an appointment. When you call to make your appointment, keep it in mind that they are trying their best, English may not be their first language, and that this store is located in a very asian-centric area. Once you make an appointment, the check-in process is simple and smooth. If it's your first visit, they have you sign papers and explain the process. Each room is very clean and dimly lit. I did ask about other services, and the representative explained each one without pushing me to buy or add more to my pre-existing package. As a birthday treat, I came for a one hour massage and thirty minute body wrap. It's an Asian salon, and I only point that out because A) the style is a bit different from Swedish or deep tissue B) Total nudity is not a problem for them. This is a cultural thing and bodies are not sexualized or shamed. If that is weird for you, get over it or try another spa. The massage therapist was warm and friendly. She didn't take any time to consult my needs beforehand, but she checked in with me throughout the service to make sure I was comfortable and the pressure was right.
