The cake wasn't spiced enough and was too dense, probably from a sugar soak. The frosting was terrible. If it was cream cheese, we couldn't taste it at all because of how sweet it was. It felt like it coated your mouth in powdered sugar.

This cute little shop hasn't changed since the last time I set foot in there. The older lady working in the evening was a doll. She was friendly and patiently answered all of my questions. The frosting wasn't overly sweet, but our cake slices were on the dry side. I wish at about $9 a slice they were dated, so as a consumer, I knew when it was baked.
