Big tall mirrors are sort of angled against the wall so you will be seeing yourself at a strange angle. I'm sure it's for the design of the space rather than utility but had to share only because I was sincerely looking up my own nose most of the time while having my hair worked on. One Sentence: Not for everyone, but if you try it, you won't regret it!…read more I will start by saying I can be VERY fussy when it comes to my hair (as most women are), but I was completely blown away by Ann Marie's talents and results! I have actually gone 3 times, twice for my hair color, and once for a pedicure - all three experiences were great! Ann Marie is a bubbly, and lovely, she's always smiling, and really takes the time to listen to what you want, what you're looking for, and takes the time to explain what she's going to do! Both times I've been for my hair, I've had dramatic changes, and she's helped my achieve both looks, and I've come out with a big smile across my face (I'm still wearing my last time). Some may be put off by a couple of things. Firstly, the consultation, if you're anything like me, hair appointments are difficult to make, and to have to book a consultation FIRST, it felt like I was wasting my time - turns out, NOT - It really gave Ann Marie the knowledge she needed, and my hair turned out better than I could imagine. Another drawback, for some, is that Ann Marie works one-on-one, and going to the salon isn't a 'girl's day'. Honestly, if that's what you're looking for, then I wouldn't really suggest Ann Marie. She concentrates on YOU, and that's what I love :) Needless to say, I am sooo grateful that I found The Loft, and Ann Marie. I will never have to find another colorist, and this makes me VERY happy!

I'm new to this area and decided to give Brush a try to get some color to my hair. Shelly was my hair artist and she did an excellent job! I was somewhat indecisive but gave her an idea of what I was looking for, and that was enough to get her mixing the colors and do her thing! She is very talented and definitely experienced! Lots of good convos during my time w her. Staff was very courteous. I will definitely suggest giving Brush a try, and certainly go back here.
