    Pizza from pizza connection yummm

We loved the pizza large with jalapeño and we got with some peppers on it and with pepperoni highly recommended it was crispy. It was cheesy the large one was double size enough for 10 people really amazing. I think it's the best pet in the valley way better than any local pizzeria no comparison terrible Pizza Hut or Domino's Heidi recommended 10 star delivery came fast and fresh

I devoured the other half before taking a picture to show my friend

I love this place! I always get their meatball sub and their tiramisu. So. So. Good. The one thing I wish they would change is that one day they delivered to my apartment in Sherman Oaks, and then they suddenly didn't. I've had a few items, a spinach calzone, mozzarella sticks, from them before and never have had a bad thing. I got to order from them tonight because I'm a mile north of my home. Just one mile. I wish they would expand their delivery area. I love supporting small businesses in the area and would certainly order from them more often if they delivered to my place like they did before. I'd give them 5 stars if they did.

The best chicken parm in the valley! Real chicken, not nugget meat, a sauce that isn't full of sugar and actual bread not some sandwich roll from a bag. Fast service on delivery and great value, what is not to love?

What is pink about this?! I get pink sauce all the time from many restaurants and it's never looked and tasted like marinara.

Thin crust that is very flavorful, good sauce, not too much cheese, just enough, not that deep dish stuff that midwestern people think is pizza but is something else entirely. When I first moved here, you could not get the real deal, it was disappointing. Then the grandson of Regina's Pizza in the north End opened up the Pizza Connection is Canoga Park and it was really good. He opened a bunch of other locations but over time, not sure why, the pizza just wasn't as good. My child Emily Asher Kellis disagrees, still loves it, but she was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, so what does she really know about pizza. After trying a bunch of different "New York City" pizza joints that were just ok, we found Santino's NY Pizza in Sherman Oaks and were very happy with it, authentic East Coast pizza. Well last week I discovered they went out of business. Oh no, what were we going to do? So I researched and found there was a place in Sherman Oaks called The Pizza Wagon of Brooklyn, only two locations, here and in Brooklyn and people said it was the real deal. Tonight we tried it, and you know what, it might just be even better. Santino's sauce had a slight sweetness to it that we liked that this doesn't but the sauce is good, and the crust is even more flavorful and they are a bit more liberal with the olive oil usage, which true East Coasters love while I am told that most health conscious Southern Californians do not. Anyway, we are quite happy that we can continue to get our pizza craving satisfied when we just gotta have some slices.

After all, some things lose their soul when they leave home. I am happy to confirm, this is not one of them. The remarkable thing is not that the pizza is good. It's that it feels faithful. Somehow they've captured the character of the original, right down to the chew of the crust and the balance of flavors that made people fall in love with it in the first place. They must be sourcing their water from New York, because they absolutely nailed it. Yes, it's expensive. Then again, so is nearly everything in Los Angeles, especially in Studio City. The difference here is that the price fades from memory the moment the pizza hits the table. This is one of those rare places where the product justifies the cost. If it's your first visit, begin with the Prince Perfection. Then make your way to the Spicy Pepperoni Slice, a piece of pizza that borders on indulgence and somehow still leaves you wanting another bite. Good pizza fills you up. Great pizza stays with you. Prince Street Pizza belongs firmly in the latter category.

The place is located on Riverside Dr., and I found parking on the street. I don't think it gets too busy to the point where you can't park on the street, and I'm not sure if they have a parking lot in the back, but you should be fine on Riverside Dr. I was greeted by a man up front who asked for my order and checked to see if it was ready. As he went to check on my order, I got a glimpse of the restaurant, and straight to the left is a bar area with a tv and the place has that old school pizza parlor vibe with dark tones that really set the mood. I'll definitely have to come back and eat there to get the full experience. When the guy came back, I paid and went back to my car, where you'll find most people who come here. Once my order was received, I rushed back home to get these bad boys cut up for the fights! I usually go with a few 12" pies, including the option of spinach margaritas for the vegetarians, Gino's Supreme, and the Meaty Legend. Sometimes we'll get the hot wings, French fries, and mozzarella sticks for the kids because I noticed they don't really like this style of deep dish pizza. It's sauce-heavy with a lot of mozzarella cheese, and the crust is a bit different from what they are used to. However, we love it, and I must admit, I'm a huge meat person, but I think the spinach margarita may be the tastiest one out of the bunch! Anyway, these are a bit expensive, but they're the real deal. Overall, if you're looking for some Chicago-style deep-dish pizza, Gino's will get you there. I haven't had a bad experience yet, and it's our go-to for our fight night parties. OOOOC 4.5 out of 5 Afros
