The good, the bad, the ugly... and then, hallelujah the beautiful! Eyeliner tattoo is not for the faint of heart! You have to really want it for it to be worth the entire healing process. It really kinda sucks! Amber books out 6-8 months in advance and the cost for full winged eyeliner is $1,200 which is definitely higher than the average I've researched but I'm a firm believer of you get what you pay for! My line is so crisp! This does NOT include a touch up like a lot of places I researched. The touch up takes place 6-8 weeks for an additional $250. Personally, I felt like a touch up was absolutely necessary because once your scab comes off it looks lighter like a Smokey grey instead of a true black. She does gives you a helpful card that explains each part of the healing process which was very useful. The actual tattoo process itself isn't bad. She keeps you numb the entire time. It still hurts but not unbearable. She's confident and great at explaining every step of the way so you know why she's doing whatever she's doing which made me feel at ease. When I took a first look at myself shock set in. I looked like I got punched in the face! Two bruised eyes and a lot of swelling. The first 72 hrs was filled with panic and doubt. Everyone is different, but, I recommend taking the first 2-3 days off of work. My eyes hurt so bad and were sensitive to light. I took arnica Montana tablets for swelling and iced my eyes a lot the first 48 hrs. I took Benadryl and Tylenol for pain at night to be able to sleep. The touch up was not nearly as bad. Even after two sessions I still wish it were darker black. Amber was patient, very informative, professional and super personable throughout the entire process. She also helped keep me calm throughout my healing process freak out. I sent pictures to show her because I was sure I must of had an allergic reaction or something. I was in a lot of pain and I looked so scary! She assured me it was normal so I just had to trust the process. I am an experienced Master Stylist and very experienced PMU artist who is a perfectionist. I decided to take an additional class to expand my techniques and consider some other trainers techniques and ideas and I found this company online. Unfortunately the class did not live up to the information communicated. It is what it is. I think the review format is important when considering investing in continued education and even then you can sometimes realize it didn't meet the level you thought you'd be experiencing. So happy to be in great hands! Brisa did my bottom eyeliner today and I love it they're so cute! The building does not have signage/branding on the outside for Ms Amber's studio - It's not until you enter the main lobby, that you see the studio door to your left hand side. Ring the doorbell, and someone will come let you in. At this moment they are by appointment only. Sasha welcomed me into the waiting area and offered complimentary coffee/tea/water. There was sitting space for 3-5 people. Then I got started filling out the electronic waivers. Check-in took about 20 minutes including wait time. Brisa came to get me and we got started in the room right behind the front desk. Offered a spot to put my belongings, and then proceeded to climb into the cushy chair where I'll be spending the next hour. I was in great hands - Brisa has great bedside manner and was constantly numbing me, and cleansing/rinsing my eyes to make sure nothing was stinging. Put the timer on for 15 full minutes of numbing to start the process, and then periodically re-apply. Kept checking her work as the time went by, to make sure both sides matched. About 1hour later I was all done! Although I was provided a handy mirror to check the work, I ran to a larger mirror to admire my new bottom eyeliner, it's so cute! Brisa provided verbal aftercare instructions, and an aftercare kit with all the instructions typed up and ointment too. Returned to front desk to schedule my touchup in 10 weeks. Had to put down $50 deposit to hold the reservation. And if you are to leave a review, you'll receive $25 off your next service. Checkout took about 7-10 minutes to schedule and put down deposit. Overall I had a great experience, I find that it was slightly easier since I've had other permanent makeup done before so I knew the drill coming in. And side note: I appreciated Brisa giving me the quiet space that I needed. Sometimes a girl just needs to be conversation-free for a moment and today was definitely one of those days for me. I am never one to go on-line and say hurtful things about an entrepreneurs business. However I felt extremely taken advantage of and the customer service was terrible. I got my eyebrows done last year which I was extremely happy with Amber nailed the color and did corrective work on it! I then got my lips done in December and within a month after having them done I was extremely unhappy I came back into immediately see her and she admitted that the pigment didn't take and that we needed to reschedule me to get in for a touchup. I scheduled my first touchup and they had to reschedule me for Amber's personal reasons. Then almost a year later I had an appointment Aug the 5th. 45 minutes before my appointment that I had been waiting almost a year for that again Amber was sick and she needed to reschedule. I then was talking to the front desk girl and granted they canceled my appointment it was a good thing because I would not have been able to get them done anyways because of lip fillers. Neither here nor there to reschedule on their end not mine 2x was very frustrating. The front desk girl was very helpful however she said that she could not get me in with Amber in December and that I would have to wait until January. She said that the price would increase in the new year and I would also need to put down a deposit. I was a little perturbed because she said that the deposit was now required because of cancellations and reschedules. That upset me because I was on a waitlist since December of last year to get my lips fixed because one Cupid bow pigment remained and the other Cupid bow did not. I was very upset that they did not call me in earlier if they had all of these reschedules & cancellations. I then called and expressed to the front desk girl that I was a little annoyed that I understand that Amber was busy but I could not go any longer with the obvious mistake of the pigment being outside of my natural lip line and not outside of the other. I then had a long conversation with her and nothing seem to be done. I thought that there was lack of customer service if she made a mistake she should've made an added effort to get me in on her first cancellation. The fact that they wanted a deposit because of cancellations really upset me not for the fact of the deposit before the fact that they had all of these cancellations and I had not been called especially after the obvious pigment mistake on my lips. Then they're going to give me a price increase for a touchup that should've been done at a complementary rate to begin with! I then called another salon that she had previously trained at and they wouldn't even call me back because it was Amber's work. I was hoping that I could talk to Amber in person on my hombre Brow Touchup Aug 12th and I received an email yesterday stating that they just canceled my appointment without calling me or explaining why. Obviously they did not want to work with me on the pigment mistake which I saw as very poor customer service. I have attached a picture of the pigment that did not take and after speaking to multiple Permanent Make Up Artist apparently she should not have went outside my natural lip line and if this was a mistake on her end it should've been corrected immediately and I shouldn't have been brushed off nine months later and then told that I need to put a deposit down and I'm going to have a price increase. In all honesty mistakes happen and I wouldn't have been upset if they made an effort to get me in sooner and to fix my cupids bow but when both of the cancellations weren't my fault and then I was blamed stating that even though they canceled my second appointment I wouldn't have been able to get my lips done anyways because of fillers is beside the point. They canceled me twice and then didn't make an effort to get me back in and then slapped a deposit fee and a price increase on me. In all honesty I should've had my lips fixed February of this year instead of August! It's been almost a year since this mistake happened in fact it'll be a year in December! read more

Yesterday I got my lips tattooed with Brisa and I can't recommend her more! I was kept comfortable during the whole process and numbing was reapplied throughout the session which made the pain almost non existent! I was worried about it hurting but was pain free for 99.8% of the time! The shop is very clean and hands were washed, gloves were worn and Brisa was so nice and professional. Went to have my eyeliner touched up, and opted for a bolder wedge upper eye liner. Wow!! The result was just amazing. I did an initial liner tattoo, and then a touch-up. The symmetry is spot on, and the angle lifts my aging eyes. Swelling was minimal, despite the fact that I ooze much collagen when I get tattooed. No bruising whatsoever. The color is rich, and evenly saturated. The shop itself is beautiful, clean, and has an edgy vibe. I like it. There is plenty of natural lighting, which makes it so much easier to actually see color and detail. After my eyebrows have healed I can finally say I regret going here. In the first session (August) that took about 5 hours I had Amber do one eyebrow and Brisa did the second eyebrow. I was a model for an ombre eyebrow. The eyebrow Amber did came out nice and dark compared to the eyebrows Brisa did. Amber was there watching and I felt pretty comfortable. The second session Amber scheduled me with Brisa which happened to fall on the week of Thanksgiving and Brisa canceled on me with a family emergency. My touch up session ended up being until January. I had to be with only one eyebrow for almost half a year. In the second session Amber was not in the room. In the appointment I let brisa know that my eyebrows were really light and I would like to get them darker and I wanted them closer to each other because I felt the gap between the eyebrows was too big but she said it wouldn't look right.
