I have mixed feelings and some disappointments from this experience especially two people recommended this place for me which made me have very high expectations. 1. Consultation process: I was very nervous since I am Asian and my eyes have folds which make the shape of liner extremely critical, if too long, my eyes would look droopy, if not thick enough, no one can tell I have eye liners on. One time I walked in and asked about consultation, see if they can draw the liners during consultation to make sure we are on the same page and to ease my nervousness since this is a permanent thing! But it was denied. Then I called to schedule a consultation, and when I showed up on the day of consultation, I was told my appointment was not on the system. WHAT?!?!? But I was quickly greeted and was told that my concerns are heard and understood. So I thought it should be good even though I can't see the liners drawn before they get tattooed..... 2. First session: I choose some photos from MM Brows' site as reference and explained the thickness of the liner that I need. And the adjustments I need. From the communication, it seemed that my requests are understood. During the process, very little numbing solution was applied, I had to bite my tongue and resist the pain a lot. At the end my eyes were swollen which are to be expected. When the session is done, I was offered to use the makeup closeup mirror to check the results, they appeared ok except days later after the swelling is gone, the lines can barely be seen. NO ONE KNEW that I had liners tattooed. I guess the swelling and the blowup mirror created the false impression that the artist gave me the liner thickness I asked for. 3. Follow up session: I again made the emphasis about the shape and liner thickness I requested due to the shape of my eyelids. I told her that since I have to go through this pain to get tattooed and naturally I want the results that meet my original requests. During the process, again, very little numbing solution was applied and my eyes were in severe pain. I had to request additional numbing cream in order to continue the process. I also drew the shape and thickness of the liners I want using phone app to demonstrated what I expect to receive. Unfortunately, the end results are not what I requested. 4. Positive notes: The work is very detailed despite the fact that it's not the shape or thickness I requested ... and the lady has good sense of humor read more

I was driving down Pecos and noticed MM Permanent Cosmetics. Instantly when I got home I looked them up online. The place had stellar reviews but I was too chicken to go. Turns out my daughters boss had her brows done so of course I asked her where she went. MM Permanent cosmetics she said, go see Tami she's amazing. This clearly was a sign. My daughter and I talked about it and wanting to get it done. As a surprise for Christmas my daughter bought me eyebrows! It was the best gift EVER. So we booked an appointment online to go on the same day. The place is gorgeous and Tami (Tamara) is absolutely amazing. Right off the start she was like talking to a best friend so it really set the tone. She explained everything and all the different options. There are quite a few so don't be afraid to ask her what is best for you. Tami took pictures, measured where my brows should start, where my arch should be and the proper length for my face. I guess I really didn't realize how little to no brow I actually had left. Tami instantly started drawing my brows out by hand with this magic pencil of hers. I couldn't even believe how real the hair strokes looked with just her drawing them on! Starting to really get excited now! Tami made sure everything was to my liking before we got started. I decided to go with the nano brows as they looked the most natural. Now here comes the unpleasant but not unbearable part....She makes several channels in your brows that feel like you are being scratched. It's not painful but the noise was a bit unsettling to me. Almost sounded like paper being ripped. All this is done by hand. She applies custom colors to match your natural hair. Then you get numbing cream because it's going to absorb better. It definitely helps but the noise is still gross LOL. So you can bring headphones if you want but I really enjoyed talking to Tami. The entire process maybe took about 45 minutes. Let me tell you it was SO worth every penny! When she showed me my finished brows I couldn't believe it! I'm still in shock waking up with actual eyebrows! They look like REAL hair. Tami went over all care procedures. Gave us soap to wash our brows with and special lotion so they heal properly. She also gave us her phone number and told us we could message her with any questions we may have along the way. When I got home my husband even said my brows looked great. It's SO nice waking up and actually having eyebrows. I also enjoy not having to worry about penciling anything on or worrying that I've wiped half of my brow off. Plus it saves so much time. The following day Tami messaged us to make sure everything was okay. I though that was a super nice touch. She also sent me and my daughter the before and after photos. Please see the photos below they speak volumes themselves. I have little to no brows and my daughters were thicker but sparse in areas. You have NO idea how important eyebrows are to your face. If you are on the fence about going here's what I'm going to say.....Just go see Tami at MM Permanent Cosmetics you will be so happy you did! I had a terrible experience. After my first appointment I was not going to go back because besides being very painful, it did not look right. She talked me into coming back for the touchup so I paid for a second visit and got even worse results. So over 500 spent and my eyebrows looked terrible. I asked for my money back so I could go get them fixed but she would not do that. Tami is amazing. She had to correct the shape and color of my eyebrows. I had gone to 2 different people before for permanent eyebrows and ended up with seriously jacked up eyebrows. I'm so incredibly BUMMED! I walked into MM to support a girlfriend who found a coupon on FB on her own for her eyebrows- Before I even walked through the door I was greeted by the most rude/unkind/abrassive front girl Cindy (I believe is her name) "YOU HAVE TO WEAR A MASK"! She barked. I was so startled and shocked, meanwhile mask mandates in Vegas had been lifted! THIS IS A PLACE I GO TO TO SEE TAMI FOR MY EYEBROWS FOR YEARS!!! TAMI was in the lobby when I walked in talking with a woman. Tami greeted me and said what are your doing here? You texted me to make an appointment, did you? (Yes well if your regular client you've been seeing for years texts you and your pawn her off to your rude front office girl who runs your books WHY WOULD I)? I took my 88 year old mom for Microblading. It was her first time. She wanted to look beautiful when she wakes up in the morning and not have to worry about creating her own brows. O my lord, I posted my review for Tami under the salon site. Here is a copy n paste of what you care about. And then I saw that they did permanent makeup! Immediately set up an apt with Tami to touch up my already existing eyeliner and spur of the moment decided on a thicker line just because I could. Awesome decision self! My thin eyebrows were making me sad because they weren't growing back fuller...just longer, like the old man kind that are trying to reach out and touch you. So I figured why not tattoo them on ? GUTSY MOVE MAV. This was one of the better calls I've made in life. She did a technique that made it look like legit eyebrows with hair strokes and not a solid line like some eyebrows I see. AMAZED. We are also working on lil lip color to round things out. My swole time is 2 days so getting it done at the beginning of a long weekend works for me. Proper care is briefed/demonstrated and you get your own lube tube (Recover All after care) If you are thinking about permanent makeup, go here! Or if you have questions or need/want a consult, talk to Tami. The procedure is NOT like getting a normal tattoo on your body so don't freak out.
