I explained that I would be starting chemo and would likely lose my eyebrows. Carolina was incredibly understanding and made me feel like any other client--no judgment, no awkwardness, just kindness and professionalism. She did a fabulous job, and I was so impressed with my brows. Because of my treatment, I wasn't able to return for my touch-up within their normal timeframe. After completing chemo, I called and spoke with Brad, explained my circumstances, and he was extremely understanding and graciously made an exception for me. When I returned to Carolina, I had lost all of my eyebrow hair. She once again did an amazing job. When I looked in the mirror, I had tears in my eyes because for the first time in five months, I felt like I looked like myself again. That meant more to me than I can possibly explain. The service at Mila Aesthetics is impeccable, but what stands out even more is how kind, humble, compassionate, and understanding they are. I was originally interested in her new method of Microblading and since I had a lot of Groupon bucks to burn, I decided to try it. BIG MISTAKE! First off she has it advertised as "$399 WORTH IF SERVICES" in the title but then in the small section below it "conveniently" has the message: "Microblading removal treatment. All natural treatment for microblading and permanent makeup eyebrows." But she claimed it was removal only??? Why wouldn't you just say that in the advertisement then!? Why confuse people by putting two different sentences that would assume either/or?!? Why not say exactly "removal ONLY!!!???" She was so dismissive and snappy and wouldn't even look me in the face after disrespectfully telling me the Groupon was wrong. I tried to tell her it was kind of misleading and she actually ignored me (immature much?!) then began to get extremely defensive when I stood there in shock and her demeanor basically said "too bad! I'm not willing to help. I don't need your business, so leave and take it up with Groupon!". She seriously walked behind the counter and dismissed me by removing my booking. You would think she would be like "sorry Groupon maybe messed up on their end, but let me book you for treatment and maybe take off 10% of the full service. I'll alert Groupon to help you get a refund from for the confusion". She wouldn't even look at my phone to see how it was misleading or can be interpreted as receiving microblading. Like am I crazy?!? If it's a generic title for 399 worth of services, and then a sentence below stating All natural treatment for microblading and permanent makeup eyebrows! Her demeanor and dismissive attitude was unnecessary and I would have just easily disputed with Groupon, but she wouldn't even look to see how the advertisement was displayed to save herself form looking like the bad guy. Based off the reviews and pictures of some of the shoddy workmanship, I dodged a bullet anyway. Hope you are as lucky too! I'm sure she fixed the advertisement by now since this review was oddly not posted (or maybe falsely removed?), but she did me a favor by being so rude. I got my refund anyway after contacting Groupon and telling them what happened. And even better, didn't risk getting botched.

I was a bit nervous to get my eyeliner permanently tattooed on my face, more because of the pain…read morethan anything else. Jameson did my work and his craftsmanship is excellent1 He applied a numbing creme beforehand, so it didn't really hurt, just felt kind of like little pokes around my eyelid. It didn't take too long to do and I was out in 40 minutes! I'm super happy with the results and just hope it lasts for at least three years before I have to go back! You must return after 6 weeks for touch-ups. The color may also look lighter after that time. So I'll have to wait and see. It was great to wake up this morning with one less thing to apply to my face! So yes, I would recommend this place. I was super shy at first but she helped me feel comfortable and made me feel like the prettiest girly ever. Not only has Andrea done my lash extensions in the past but she's the only one I trust with my brows.
