First time I walked around a mall in over 2 years so I couldn't tell you the last time I had a Mrs. Field's cookie. I was here and on vacation and I was compelled to order the cookie sandwich. It was two chocolate chip cookies with white icing in the middle. Yes, sometimes I eat like a small child. I took it back to the condo and dug in later that evening. The two cookies were slightly stale but it was good otherwise. The icing had that nice sweet heavy buttercream taste. I'd say it has lard in it but I'm not sure if that is still allowed! I've heard that the Mrs Fields at the Gardens Mall is now under new ownership. Well, it certainly shows. It's now really, really good. My family threw a party this weekend and we decided to include Mrs. Fields as part of the party dessert line up! We decided to order 100 cookies. We placed the order 24 hours ahead of time and they were really attentive to our needs. They contacted me really promptly when the order was ready for pick (it was ready early - that's already unusual, right?) and when I picked up the order, the cookies were nicely presented in boxes and very carefully stored. That night, our guests really enjoyed the cookies (we had ordered different flavors) and the whole experience was a 10 out of 10. Plus, I met the owner when I went to pick up the order and she was working at the counter. She was so friendly. Great to have them back in the community and under new ownership. Love it! read more

It's been years since I tried a Mrs fields cookie, and after this time it will many more if ever till I eat them again. Wow, I'm so disappointed in bad they are. First off they cost $2.50 for small cookie. Seriously, that's ridiculous. Don't bother going if you want to overpay for a cookie. Because God forbid they actually accept their own company's gift cards, instead try to charge you $8 for 4 cookies. The owner and the manager both lied to my face consistently stating that they do not accept gift cards. I called the corporate office to find out why only to be told that they do except gift cards. And they even accepted a gift card 3 days ago. The people constantly wide and will probably continue to do the same. My 14 yo daughter paid with a $20 and the cashier gave change for a $5. My daughter complained only to be told that she was wrong. Daughter was so upset that she found a mall security guard. When she got home and told me, I called the store immediately and got a snarky girl telling me that 'her drawer receipts balanced." I asked for the manager, and was given the name and # of the owner, who I called and explained the situation to. Owner was very nice, called me back, but insisted that the drawer was checked again and no overage. Daughter had only 20's and 1's in her wallet...no fives. She was VERY upset about being short changed by $15. So, no apology, no remote possibility that the girls at store made a mistake or were lying. Just "you are wrong." Although owner was VERY nice, he did not remedy the situation at all. My daughter was short-changed. Period. NOT HAPPY! WILL NEVER GO TO THIS STORE AGAIN!!!! read more

Just picked up a custom cookie cake for the second time within a month and the icing decorating on the top I am very disappointed in again. First time I arrived and the lady hadn't finished it on time and rushed to put the names on it and looked very sloppy, and closed the box and sealed it before I saw it later. Just picked up another one today and asked for a simple happy birthday with a soccer ball and opened it and it's just a black and white 'border' around the cake with the writing .
