I came in for dessert after dinner and ordered an ice cream that cost approximately $12. After ordering, I went to the bathroom and had my daughter wait for the ice cream to be finished and pay for it. Once I came back, we went outside to sit and enjoy it. As soon as I started eating it, I realized the ice cream was already melted, the toppings were not properly mixed in, and there was a very minimal amount of the toppings I had paid for, including peanuts, bananas, and hot fudge. It was basically a large scoop of melted ice cream with a few toppings thrown on it. I went back inside and politely explained the issue to an employee named Lexi, who told me she was the shift manager. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, her first response was, "Did you watch him make it?" I explained that no, I did not, because I had gone to the bathroom and my daughter had waited for the order. She then told me, "Well, you should have watched him make it." As a paying customer, I should not have to stand over an employee and watch them prepare my order to make sure it is made correctly. Lexi then refused to remake the ice cream and told me that if I wanted another one, I would have to pay FULL PRICE again. She also claimed that my ice cream was "half eaten," which was absolutely not the case. I had just received it and had only started eating it when I realized it had not been made correctly. Obviously, I had to actually try the ice cream before realizing the toppings were not properly mixed in and that there was barely any banana or hot fudge. What made the situation even more unacceptable was that while I was showing her the lack of toppings, Lexi touched my ice cream twice with her fingers while pointing at the peanuts. When I said something about her touching my food, she denied doing it--even though I had just watched her do it. Then, after I had already walked away from the situation, I went back inside simply to get some napkins. When I came back in, Lexi and another employee were laughing and talking about the incident in front of me and my daughter. At that point, it went beyond poor customer service. It was disrespectful, immature, and completely inappropriate behavior from someone who identified herself as the shift manager. For a $12 ice cream, expecting it to be made correctly is not unreasonable. A simple remake would have resolved the entire situation. Instead, I was blamed for not watching the employee make my order, accused of eating half of it, had a shift manager put her fingers into my food and then deny doing so, was told I would have to pay another $12 to have it remade, and then had to walk back into the store and hear employees laughing and discussing the situation in front of me and my daughter. I will absolutely be contacting the owner of this location because I sincerely hope this situation is addressed. Regardless of whether the manager agreed with my complaint about the ice cream, there is no excuse for treating a paying customer this way and then laughing about the situation afterward. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be returning to this location. Extremely disappointing and completely unacceptable customer service. read more

We stopped in today and got kids cups for my girls. Ice cream with toppings came out to over $17, which I thought was excessive. The ice cream was OK. But $17 bucks for 3 of them? Meh, not really worth it. And the toppings were a bit of a gip. For example the Twix topping was basically 1/4 of a Twix bar stuck into the ice cream. The Oreo topping was half a cookie. Seemed chintzy to me and the promo photos of the ice cream seemed far more interesting than what we got. It also took a while to get our items. There was one person ahead of us but we had to wait close to 10 minutes to order. I also felt that the lady there could have been nicer. When I said hello she didn't say hi back and when I said thanks I didn't get any reply. How hard is it to be pleasant to a customer? We left feeling like it was a lackluster visit. I love Cold Stone's ice cream!!! Its so creamy and delicious!!! But I definitely can go kiddy size every time I come here... it's rather sweet (in my opinion). I mean, it's ice cream, so it's warranted. I've got the chilly chocolate mint winter special, chocolate mintster, oreo dream, mint mint chocolate chocolate chip, with and without the waffle cone. Their flavors are really good! I enjoy it! I only come here once in a while, though because that's too much sugar and cream in one sitting XD. Their service is hit or miss, though. There are days when I get great service! The person making my ice cream is nice and and thoroughly mixes my ice cream and there are days when I wonder why they are even working there and still have their job. Granted, more often than not, its just a bunch of kids working there for some extra money. But I think that there needs to be proper managing of their employees and proper training of customer service because they should have consistent service. read more

Their evening 'shift leader' is rude. And apparently if you go there with a coupon, it can only be used if you verbally order your ice cream a specific way. Even though it's the same exact order in the end. They acknowledged that it didn't make sense, and refused to correct the way they input the ice cream into their computer because 'store policy.' There are no real Covid 19 precautions at this store. I am pregnant, and I was shocked when I walked into this location and saw NO social distancing being enforced, the store was full of about 15 guests who were not 6 feet apart. No guests were wearing masks. The pens being used to sign credit cards were not sanitized, We are in the middle of a pandemic, and it seems like your company is not enforcing any measurers to keep your guests or worker safe. This is absolutely irresponsible. I will not be visiting any of your locations, and I will tell others not to do the same until you make some changes to take social distancing, capacity rules, and sanitation seriously. read more

Last week my family and I order 4 Founder's favorite. When we got home to our surprise it was made with Cheesecake not Sweet Cream ice cream. Being that it is 20 minutes away from our house I called and they said that we could come back next weekend and it would be on the house. We went in tonight and the girl behind the counter would not honor that and told us that the staff member we spoke was had gotten in trouble and was not allowed to make that offer. And that they get complaints all the time that they get complaints all the time about that and how do they know we are not lying. WOW!! She knew about it and still would not honor it. So I ended paying only to get home and have a blonde hair in my ice cream and my daughter had a dark hair in her ice cream. Not only poor customer service, but poor cleanliness as well. Wow! So this place is extremely expensive. Every time I come here, I order at least five or six milkshakes because I'm always with a group. I've been coming here countless times. Last time I came they got my milkshake wrong and by the time I got home they were closed. This is the first time I called them to let them know they messed up and asked if they could fix my milkshake. They told me that without a receipt they would not fix my shake. have never been in the position to have to do this considering I've been going to this store for over 8 years, however I was met with the worst experience at the hands of Gabe N. He was nasty, rude, belittling, and much more. He was very short with the customers before me but when I ordered a mine and the Carmel jar was not spitting out much Carmel and I stated hey not much came out can you add a little more if possible please , he rolled his eyes then added it at check out he tried to charge me for an extra mix in, however that wasn't the case (considering Carmel was apart of the order he just didn't put much) so I asked why and he said it was extra. I asked how and I wish he informed me of this before, he started considering I've been going there for years and that's never been the case, I was speaking low and asked what could be done should I have it remade and he got loud, to grab attention of others and I kept speaking low, he started stating other things that had nothing to do with the situation at hand, talked about other store not being as good as him, I was so appalled I was thinking about leaving until he called the manager and rectified it but he still spoke so horribly after that as well as laughed in my face. I would give this place -5 stars if I could. The employees are so confused it's a WHOLE nightmare. They don't take orders one group at a time, instead one worker takes one party. Everyone was skipping each other because the employees couldn't work through the line effectively. By the time I got my ice cream, my sister was finished and my sister was halfway done. Stay away from this place!!! I would have gotten better, faster service at the McDonald's next door. This cold stones is right around the corner from me so we tend to visit it often, I love their options of flavors and what can be mixed into the ice cream it really is a huge selection. On this particular visit Carla helped us and while they didn't greet u alike most coldstones do they were still very helpful and really did make sure we knew all of the options that were available to us. I got a birthday cake and my son go something with caramel the ingrediates were fresh and the ice cream was good. The only complaint I do have is this store is relatively small in comparison to the other locations and they don't have outside seating. read more

Customers before us said their order was wrong. The cashier took their spoon and tried their ice creams and demanded to the customer it was right and refused to change it. My husband and I had ordered and my order was wrong. I explained to the cashier that she did not make what I requested and asked her to remake it. She started to argue wirh me stating she made the order correctly. I told her that the menu clearly states what comes in the flavor. She then had a revelation and stated that she just discovered that she had been making that wrong for over a year and that she was trained improperly. Another one was made correctly and she charged me for all 3 ice creams, my husbands and mine as well as the incorrect order. I asked why my bill was so high and the cashier let me know that I was paying for the one that she made incorrectly. I asked to speak to the manager and to my surprise she said she was the manager. She refused to take the incorrect order off. All of the employees then disappeared to the back of the store for 10 minutes while there was a line of people waiting to be helped. The girl came back with the owner on the phone who was able to teach her how to process a void correctly. We were still charged incorrectly, however after over 30 minutes waiting for an ice cream we decided to take the charges and leave. I'm disappointed in how awful this experience was, and embarrassed at how big of a scene the employees made this out to be when it should have been a easy fix. read more
