And now, everytime I'm in my kitchen, I'm reminded of how Floor to Ceiling never achieved my design vision. Too many changes made on the job, most unnecessary. (especially fixing an unsatisfactory installation error for "free", and adding that cost to another area of the budget.) I'm not going to list all the issues I encountered--but buyer beware. After paying a pretty penny, when all is done, you have to live with it. Look around. A company is as good as who they contract the components out to.

Came here last February to get some ideas regarding a bathroom remodel. We were given a part-time…read morecollege intern to help us thru the process of looking at vanities, tiles, toilets, etc. Kind of high pressure and very expensive materials. Well they sent out 4 contractors to appraise labor costs. Total cost was about 15,000. They were so unimaginative. Didn't even have design software to assist in the visual representation. Found some one else in Sycamore at almost half the cost. Project is complete and we're very happy. We will never go back to the extremely expensive Floor to Ceiling.

He came in and gave us a quote on the same day that was better than anyone else. He helped us pick out carpet that would look great yet functional in our granddaughters play area. He even covered our stairs and padded them as an extra courtesy. I'm so excited and thankful for his honesty, the value, and the finished project. We have plans to use him again as we replace other carpet in our home. He won't perform any service that he can't backup!!!

We've had good experience previously with carpet and…read morecarpet installation but with our tile purchase I was very disappointed when I went back to the store with a perfectly good unopened carton of tile they said they would not take back any less than four crates. So I have a $40 box of perfectly good tile I will have to throw out. Something I will consider when I do my other bathroom, because I know Lowe's or Menards will take back one crate. They gave me a very lame excuse that returned crates are usually damaged. I should have known what to expect when I walked in and all of the sales people and employees were eating and they could barely stop to talk to me while continuing to chew while they talked to me.

Jim was accommodating of our schedule, was an excellent / timely communicator, and was very knowledgeable of his craft and the various cleaners that he uses given the specific material / application he is working on. He was very diligent in preparing his work area for success with proper taping, ventilation, drop cloths, etc. When finished, his clean up was great. Lastly, his pricing was fair and as previously mentioned, he gave me suggestions for saving on the project costs. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him and in using him for future projects.

After numerous attempts to fix the gaps I was lied to that it was water damage but the guy who came spoke zero English (this matters later) and didn't even touch the floors. My stairs were over hung by 2 inches with no support and they cracked. Arthur committed to replacing the bottom floor but played number games with the upstairs. Something felt really off so I did some research through connections I have and found there to be 25 complaints of gapping and bubbling with the company. When challenged I was told by Arthur his lawyer was being added to the email but there is one problem that email doesn't belong to any attorney at all for that matter. As much as I didn't want to take this route, there is clear illegal deception with the business, and they refused to make it right and provide what I paid for so I feel I now must be the person who unravels everything from the people who working there and their training, contract issues, and so much more. I warn you to do your research and I will let the rest unfold publicly and keep everyone updated

He's honest, friendly, responsive, communicative - a skilled and extremely competent professional. About the work... quality, and completed efficiently and thoroughly. In general... Jose did tile, plumbing, electric, carpentry, and design work for me. As a result, he saved me from having to coordinate a lot of different people with specialized skills. The work he did in my kitchen, guest and master baths, and on my fireplace all turned out great. When unanticipated obstacles arose (like issues with plumbing inside walls), he simply fixed the problems. We made many smaller changes to the agreed-on work - mostly additions to what we agreed to originally - and had no issue agreeing to a final bill. He's just a very reasonable person. He was on time every day of the project and worked full days. He wore a face mask from start to finish. I'll be contacting him again for the next project I have and will be referring him to others in the meantime.
