Charged 300.00 freon and then asked did I want to spend 300.00 more dollar to do the dye test to find the leak. Never once offer to help me with a manufacturer wattage. Since It had been less than 90 days then that leak belonged to him or the manufacturer. I surely didn't cause it but Im surely being charged for it. Im elderly and on a fixed income and haven't had central air in my home all summer. He take no pride in his work. It's all about the dollars to him. He knows that I should not be paying for a coil leak. No other company with take the job using the manufacturer warranty. He could have did the leak test last summer and submitted documents to Goodman Customer Service Warranty Dept and got the problem solved but he wasn't any help even though he got paid to install the unit.

After over three months of operation, cooling and now heating, I give Galmiche's a good five stars…read more We'd had Galmiche's give us a bid several years ago and were impressed then, however we didn't have the funds and decided to wait and see. Well, this summer as we experienced our hottest heat wave, the nearly 40 year old system finally died. Galmiche's came back out, gave us a new bid and had a new system installed within four weeks of our old system dying. Over a month later the AC wasn't working again. Galmiche's came out, found a problem and fixed it, on warranty. A couple days later the AC stopped working again. The same technician came out, did a deeper dive and determined that a part hadn't been replaced that should have been as part of the complete install. The company warrantied the repair again, accepting responsibility. All in all, I've been very pleased with Galmiche's. Their price, their courteousness, their promptness, and their integrity. I recommend them, and will definitely consider them when our second system (we have a two system house) finally kicks it.

Thomas came to our house to look at 2 air conditioning units that weren't working. He said that…read moreboth units were out of Freon. The newer unit was frozen over so he said he couldn't figure out what was wrong with it until the ice melted and the other was old and should be replaced. He became frustrated with me when I had trouble understanding what was causing the unit to freeze over if there was no Freon. He appeared arrogant and I was ready to send him home at that point, but my wife was mainly dealing with him and it was a hot day. When I complained to my wife about him she said that maybe I shouldn't have bothered him while he was working and that he was very nice to her. After examining the units he spent a while discussing our options which included a new air conditioning to replace the older one or adding 5 pounds of AR-22 freon for $1100. He wanted to charge $7,500 for the new unit which seemed reasonable, but he couldn't do it until next week and, after a quick Google search, I told him $1100 was high for adding freon. Then he once again appeared upset and asked me what I was talking about. When I explained that I quickly looked it up and knew that It usually costs maybe $500-$750 he conceded that I could find it cheaper elsewhere. Then he told us it was $125 dollars for the visit. I told him that he can't charge me for the visit because nobody notified us that there would be any charge. He said that he doesn't work for free. But I told him that without prior notification of a service charge, I didn't believe it was legal for him to charge me considering he didn't do any diagnostic testing or any repair work. He just looked around and told me something any technician could have discovered in a few minutes. He then while standing in our kitchen played the whole recording of the conversation my wife had with the dispatcher to learn that we were right and we were never notified that there would be any charge. Two days later we had Meyer Heating and Air do a same day installation for the same $7500 and they added freon to the other unit for free when the $333 leak detection didn't reveal any leaks. Plus the reps at Meyer were very pleasant to work with so I gave Meyer a 5 star review and Design a 1 star review.

Two years ago, a day before we were supposed to head out on vacation, we found our water heater leaking. We called them, they came out quickly, got the permits they needed, and we went on vacation without having to worry about it. This morning, our furnace wasn't kicking in. No vacation plans this year, but the technicians came out quickly, found it was an in-warranty part, and got it replaced quickly. They were smart, knew what they were doing, and professional (and wore masks). We'd absolutely call Faszold first for any HVAC issues down the road. Thanks!

I appreciated the honesty! He had to leave to get a new circuit breaker and came right back to replace it. I'm happy with the service - prompt and courteous - but I am not thrilled with the high cost. The service call was $89 and a new circuit breaker should cost only $20-$30. I was charged $331.50 total, which I've been told by neighbors is very, very high for such a simple fix...Oh well. At least my furnace turns on now.
