On this particular visit, I did run into an issue which I will not lower my rating because of, but want people aware of so it does not happen to them. If you have a coupon for a discounted custard, and they ring in any other item after that, it will restore the custard to the full price on their register. I did not notice that and paid the full price. The manager did give me a card for a free custard next visit so they certainly took responsibility but just wanted people aware to keep an eye on that. In defense of the staff, I don't think they noticed either that it had occurred, so I did not allow that to detract from my impression of five star service from their pleasant, friendly and attentive staff Of course the custard is a star. It comes in all sorts of different ways to serve it. I tend to usually be a purist indeed, as a soft serve, but sometimes their specials are so exciting that I cannot resist. I have never tasted any of them that I did not find awesome. Their steakburgers should not be left as an afterthought. These are not like other fast food burgers; the meat is actually very tasty and because there's not any "proprietary" seasonings on it I even order an extra one so that I can sit outside with my puppy and she can enjoy it. It is small enough to not be unhealthy for her and big enough to be a satisfying snack. Its fat content does not make her ill like the typical fast food burger would. I personally like the fries and find the sauces to be quite good. Prices are more than reasonable and they have hours that make them convenient whenever you're hungry or craving that custard fix. I am a Freddy's fan and wish they would open one closer to where I live in Miami.

Place in the order was relatively easy and my only complaint about the app was that I could not get my jalapeños grilled. I customized my burger in the app, place my order and headed over to pick it up. When I arrived at the restaurant, there were quite a few people working, but only a couple of customers in the house. There was one couple placed in an order when I arrived, and I waited to get someone's attention to see where I would get my order from. There was some sort of a management person in the house, stirring things up and telling everyone what they needed to do. I believe this might be where the breakdown was with my order. When someone did check with me, I told them I had an order for pick up and they asked what name it was under. They walked down to the end of the counter and I followed. They picked up a bag which was freshly made, and had just had the fries added to it. The young lady told me that she had just finished my order and handed it to me and thanked me. I grabbed some peanuts on my way out. An employee who was cleaning offered if I wanted a separate bag for the peanuts which I declined. They then opened the door for me, which was a nice gesture. I hopped in my car in and took the long drive home. When I got home, I opened the bag and tossed my fries in my air fryer to warm them up. I realized they changed the packaging on the french fries but they still don't skimp on the amount they give you. My burger was still nice and hot and I set it aside on a plate till my fries are ready. Imagine my disappointment when I opened my burger and realized there was a mushroom on it. I didn't order mushrooms because I don't like mushrooms. When I opened the burger up to check, I discovered there were a lot of mushrooms on it. Thankfully, I was able to remove them all and still enjoy my burger. Everything else was correct and I checked the slip that was included with my order and sure enough there was no listing for grilled mushrooms on the slip or on my online receipt. I did notify the company who offered to send me a gift card if I would just confirm my email address I did this and of course heard nothing back from them. It's not like they're gonna lose me as a customer, but I will be much more wary to use the app to place orders from now on. The restaurant itself was very clean and well lit. There are accessible spaces near the entrance, but the entrance is not accessible. We were greeted as soon as we entered the door and the staff behind the counter were wonderful as well. Another gentleman passed by and asked how everything was do customer service was really on point here. We ordered one double and one single with cheese, fries and drink. Everything was delicious per usual. I wish that the fries were a little bit more an the crispier side but it was delicious nonetheless. The restaurant was clean, especially the rest room. The dining area is huge and could accommodate huge parties which is perfect for this tourist area.
