The beef and broccoli was tender and perfectly seasoned, the teriyaki chicken was juicy and packed with flavor, and both the chow mein and fried rice were absolutely amazing. This place is delicious. A typical Chinese food walk up were you can get a two item combo of pre made meat, rice, and noodles, but they also have a secret menu!!! I was instructed to get the pin noodle deluxe and spicy orange chicken fries. The pin noodle deluxe was soooo good. The delux noodles have beef, chicken, and shrimp. The noodles are tossed in a chili oil that is made in house. The sauce is all natural with no msg. I couldn't stop eating them. The spicy orange chicken fries were so good too!! I was told that if I wanted them to go, I should request the fries extra crispy. This way they don't get soggy. If you like a loaded fry, you definitely need to try these. They are the home of the Orange chicken fries. These are a must have. And you will need someone to share these with cause the portion is massive! We also got a simple combo plate that took me back to my childhood. Lots of steamed white rice with char sui and beef ribs on top. The beef ribs were fall off the bone tender. The char sui was fatty, tender and delicious. Some of the best char sui ever! I randomly found the Montclair Mr. You Express today and it immediately became my favorite local Chinese takeout spot. Funny enough, I actually saw an Instagram ad for their "famous orange fries" this morning, crinkle fries covered in orange chicken sauce, but that's not even what brought me in. I was doing my usual Costco run, needed lunch ASAP, and a quick Google search showed this place just one block south of Costco. Very glad I stopped by. I ordered Combo B: one side and two entrees for $12.59. I went with chow mein, orange chicken, and mushroom chicken. The portion was ENORMOUS. The picture honestly doesn't even do it justice because I had already taken several bites before taking it . Even after separating everything out, I couldn't believe how much food they packed into that container. The orange chicken had that classic sweet, crispy Chinese takeout flavor I was craving, and the mushroom chicken was loaded with chicken, mushrooms, and veggies. I also grabbed a Dr Pepper Cream Soda for $1.50, bringing the whole thing to just $15.36 after tax. For the amount of food you get, that's an awesome value. Service was super fast, and Theara at the register took care of me. Exactly what I want from a neighborhood Chinese takeout spot: quick service, huge portions, good prices, and that classic Chinese-American takeout taste. First time at Mr. You Express. Came here after a fun day at Lucky Art Crayology with the kiddos. Was getting hungry and my wife found Mr. You on yelp. The staff were all very welcoming, nice and helpful. They made the kids feel welcomed and the food was delicious. My daughters loved their noodles and fried rice. We ordered their entree menu i had their one item plate and my wife got also one item plate. Mine was half fried rice and noodles with my entree being spicy orange chicken which i have not seen at other Chinese fast food. My wife got their two item broccoli beef. The spicy orange chicken was gooooood!! I loved it nice balance of flavors and not too spicy (mild to medium) spicy level. Their broccoli beef was cooked well and flavored nicely with a hint of the peppers that balanced with the veggies. All in all 10/10. The portions are large especially when i saw the bbq pork (char siu) they packed that sucker up it was over capacity of the container. The price is on point with whats out in the industry but the portions also matches it so this place is hands down the best place for chinese food thats authentic and everyone will enjoy. I've been going to another Mr you location for a decade before they closed down so this chain is definitely in my cozy Chinese takeout in fact every time I try another Chinese takeout I can't help but compare. Their lo mein noodles were so tasty and I could see a buttload of them being prepared in the back. They had so many employees and the line moved fast. Orange chicken was good as always but honestly I came here bc I was craving coconut shrimp. Imagine my surprise when they don't have it! Chinese takeout without coconut shrimp. Preposterous!
