The food is very tasty and plenty. The turn off is the service. The Asian lady that attended me was so cold and with an attitude as if I was there for the wrong purpose. I asked for Saracha and she was furious told me it was cents more I have her a dollar and she gave me a crumb of saracha. I would not recommend this place if that lady is in the front register. Too bad for me. Off to the next Asia place forget this one. Asta nunca read more

They have the best Chinese in OBKY! Good Price & Portions on spot. Always fresh veggies & never greasy. I will not get my Egg Foo Young anywhere but here. Made correctly. Very clean restaurant. Family ran business Very polite. Comfort food. I've lived in Chicago & NY , this restaurant encompasses what Chinese food is suppose to be. Don't bother going anywhere else. read more

We've eaten here twice and had carry out once. The food has been so fresh all three times! The service is quick too. The inside of the restaurant is small, but it seems most of their patrons are doing take out, so we were able to be seated quickly for both dine in experiences. read more

The service is good for takeout. The food tasted like yesterday's. Ordered; veggies fried rice no egg, small amount of veggies. Veggies Lo Mein very few veggies maybe a 1/4 of a cup, Orange Chicken, Sam's frozen Orange Chicken is way better. read more

I asked for utensils, but didn't get any. How do you eat this without a fork? Call the store they told me to call the delivery service and ask him why they didn't get one, I didn't know that the delivery service was responsible for reading the order, and making sure it was right before they sent it to the customer. Customer service was rude and really could care less how I ate their meal, it's almost like they were saying we got your money now please leave usalone. read more

Mr Wok - Shrimp with Vegetable Lunch Special - Specialty Food Near Me - Owensboro, Kentucky

Moo guy pan was not good. Much better at Hong Kong and cheaper. Employee was rude. I will not return.

called in an order, went to pick it up. She questioned whether it had been paid for. it was in my granddaughters name so I called her a she verified she'd paid for it. She practically threw the order at me. I had egg rolls so I asked for some sweet and sour sauce. She wanted to charge me a $1.50!for a small container of sauce. I asked if she didn't have little packets. She grabbed a few, and did throw them at me and into my sack. Never said thank you, come again..anything. I've always been treated badly there, haven't been in years and it will be years before I go back. I don't have to pay my money for hateful treatment from that bag!!! read more

I ordered a large order with several entree's , soups and appetizers. The meat in the Pork lo mien was hard and tasted like it was leftover from the day before. The Crab Rangoon had no crab just cheese. And the Egg drop soup tasted like yellow dyed water. They also used Udon noodles in the Lo Mien which changrd the taste of the dish. I paid over $80.00 for our food and it ended up in the trash. read more

Their food has been consistently delicious each time that we have ordered One combo meal is enough to feed two people Very quick service Highly recommend read more

Dry old chicken, tasteless Mei fun soggy egg rolls definitely would not recommend will not go back

Food was pretty good, they had misunderstood us and added an extra thing on our order but took care of it immediately. Customer service was pretty good. We didn't wait long for food either. I'd order there again. read more

My favorite Chinese restaurant in Owensboro. Food is always excellent and quick delivery. Highly recommend the Singapore mei fun

Staying from out of town and dove into yelp to find some grub. I quickly got the urge to get some Chinese and I saw a review about the General Tso that caught my eye. I came in and was the only person dining in, however there was a steady flow of take out. I absolutely loved the Generals Tso chicken that I ordered. I'd recommend it to anyone. I'd love to return one day. read more

Customer service is awful. Food will never make up for bad service. Will never go back

As far as Chinese food, it's decent. It's consistent and always hits the spot for our cravings. Certainly better than the buffets in town. A thumbs up for certain. read more

This is my favorite Chinese place in town! They deliver, and you can order online! The General Tso was good, and it was not to spicy, and the honey chicken is Delicious! My order was correct and the people were nice enough! Also there Lo Mein is very good, 10x better then New China, and there wonton soup is pretty good to! I would Definitely recommend this to anyone wanting Chinese food! read more

Mr. Wok is the best Chinese food in Owensboro. Great food, service and price. It is very clean with a nice atmosphere.

My daughter and I went there for dinner. Great food and great service at a reasonable price. Would visit again.

I placed an order online, and left right after. It was ready and hot when I got there. The crab Rangoon is pretty dang good. I also go chicken and broccoli, pepper chicken, Mongolian beef, and chicken lo mein. My mom liked the pepper chicken, and the Mongolian was excellent, I ordered it medium spicy. I'm glad I ordered enough for leftovers for lunch tomorrow. read more

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Owensboro. They make fried rice the way I like. They deliver. Service on the phone or in the restaurant are both good. Best General Tso's chicken in the area. I really like that they will make it as spicy as you want it. read more

Couldn't be more rude on the phone! So snippy and would cut me off as I tried to speak. Some manners would be a nice change!

Yuck! Don't know if the chef was having an off night or what. Everything was way too salty.

We ordered delivery and really enjoyed the food! The dumplings, hot n sour soup, and Kung po chicken was very good! Thanks!!

I have eaten at every Chinese restaurant in Owensboro and to me this is the best. It's not a buffet. I personally like that. I like that my plate of food was prepared for me. I think they have the best General Tso chicken in town. I really like that if you order it extra spicy, it comes extra spicy. I like the fried rice and their egg rolls aren't over cooked or greasy. They deliver which is a big plus for me. They are polite and courteous on the phone. In store the service is good and they have no problem with dpecial orders or substitutions. Thr place kind of looks like a hole in the wall; but a lot of good restaurants do. read more

The food is EXCELLENT. Loved it all. We had my birthday dinner delivered and everyone from my 82 year old Dad to my 4 year old grandson loved it. Both of those two are picky, one just hates everything and the other is still in his experiment with food stage. Both asked when we would order from here again. 4 year old LOVED the steamed dumplings and Dad loved the pork fired rice. The delivery was fast and the food was hot. Best Chinese food I've had since I moved back here from DC. I'd compare it to City Lights in DC for those who are familiar. read more

Ever since it opened the food has been terrible and extremely oily and the service has been slow. The cashiers/waitresses always act like you're asking them to walk across hot coals when you ask for just a water. I refuse to go here anymore for the safety of my stomach read more

Tried this on the recommendation of a friend. Great food!! Actually, the best Chinese food we've had in Owensboro. We had our order delivered and it arrived within the quoted time. The delivery person was cheerful and thanked me for the order. The food arrived HOT and tasty!! We will definitely order from them again and we also plan to try their lunch specials. read more

Worst Chinese ever! I mean, they have delivery but it's just not worth it. I gave it two shots and both times it was below average. I couldn't even stomach the whole thing. Don't waste your time! read more

The best Asian food in the area. A large menu that also has great curry dishes. Delivery is fast and ordering online is easy. Their dining area is quaint and clean. It is nice not to battle the huge buffets and hungry hordes to get great food. Addendum: My last online delivery never made it. read more

Not a bad place. My first time. I got the Gen Tso's dinner - I picked it up and took it home. It was still nice and hot when I got home - and friendly people. It was tasty but, oddly a bit dry. I'll have to check it out again, it may have been a fluke thing. read more

Super underrated Chinese food here in town. Great delivery Chinese for the price. Great Lomain

The food isn't bad, but it's definitely not as good as their competitors. Their chicken fried rice isn't really fried and they charge extra for regular fried rice with their meals when the others do not (white rice apparently is included). They do seem to be nice people. read more

This was the first time ordering from Mr. Wok Express and we found it to be a very good meal. We ordered take out and everything was freshly cooked and really hot. Egg rolls were especially good. We will definitely be ordering from there again. read more

i live nearby so the food is always on time and hot upon arrival. all the food we've ordered has been nothing less than great.

Always a disappointment. Ordered online for delivery this morning at 10:30 am, arrived an hour later at 11:30 am, was told by the bored driver that they "had a lot of orders or something", then he sat in his car out front for 5 more minutes with his radio disturbing the neighborhood. Food was room temp and the cashew chicken came with a nice thick black hair in it that I found after chewing on it! Mr Wok charges more for their combo meals, but serve them in 24 ounce containers, whereas other Chinese combos that sell for less are served in 32 ounce containers and come with much more meat in a meat dish. Can order the same dish 3 times in a row and get it cooked 3 different ways (lemon chicken). I order here less than once a year because it is a few blocks away and I can get a quick hot meal when I feel like death, and I always regret it. Service is rude but you can avoid that by ordering online. read more

i been a loyal customer for a yr now .once a week I have order food there and I never had a problem until to day . food showed up it was 1hr 30 min wait only to open my bag of food to find out the my beef and broccoli sauce was spelt all over my bag that covered all my containers and bag of eggrolls what a mess to clean up . so I called to see if they replace that one order and that was when the (she devil) of bad attitude got on the phone!! I told her what has happen to my order . she replied in a yelling voice for me to drive the order to the store so she can look at it . then I replied I paid the 3$ delivery fee and plus a tip . this is your mistake and please send a replacement order. after she has yelled at me the hole time I said im your costumer this not how you treat your paying costumers only to be hang up on .so I called back and ask her to pick up my order and give me a refund . as she yelled at me the hole time . she hung up on me again lol. yes that's right ... I called her back once again by then I was mad as hell . I told her come pick up this food and refund my money . her reply was if you ate one bite we will not refund your order . witch I did not eat any of it . so she sent her driver here his orders was to inspect my order to see if I ate anything lol what a psycho . he took all my food back to her and was told by driver it be a week to get my refund if they will actually refund my card back ? I check my bank rec. I have order from them 57 times . and that 46 times to many . I will never order from them again ,. this isn't the right way to treat people who are loyal costumers . best thing is I rec the hole thing on my phone . I will be posting this on youtube for shore . I WILL GET THE LAST WORD IN THIS TIME . read more
