AVOID!!! I went here for a car wash and this place signed me up for a monthly subscription without my consent! $709 dollars stolen over a period of months on a bank account I don't really use so I didn't catch it for many months. My wife and I have had a subscription for at least four or five years, one for each of our cars. With rare exception, getting in and out of the car wash is pretty quick. The most recent update to the car wash in Kensington is a big disappointment. I had my car washed on July 24 and it was cleaner going in then it was coming out. The equipment, all of the equipment, does not operate, so my car came out, covered in spots, very wet, and soapy. The company does not manage the vacuum cleaner area properly. Signs ask customers to limit vacuuming time to five minutes. Most people detail their cars in the same spot for an added 10 to 15 minutes, making people wait, and waiting can be a battle. And, many people passing the car wash stop for the free vacuums preventing those of us who are spending $30-$40 a month for the service from using the equipment. Lastly, upper management, and I use that term lightly, is not responsive. Bottom line, the car wash will get dirt off your car, but you need to detail your car right away or shortly after you have it washed, otherwise your wife will look at your car 30 minutes after you had it washed and ask you "when are you getting your car?" read more

BEWARE: This company has horribly unethical practices! If you make the error of signing up for monthly service they will charge you whether or not their facility is closed for construction, then try to force you to remain a member by refusing to give you refund for the months when their service is closed if you try to cancel. For $25 a month for unlimited car washes, I absolutely believe it's worth it. There are many Mr. Wash locations scattered throughout Maryland and Virginia but the Kensington location also has free vacuums that all locations do not have. I go out of my way to this location instead of going right up the street to the Georgia Ave location in Silver Spring. I also think my car just comes out cleaner here vs. the Georgia Ave location too. I almost forgot to mention that the vacuums have the skinny attachments so you can get into the nooks and crannies of your car where French fries fall and typically are never seen again. read more

Very negative experience despite of the friendly service from the staff at the Rockville station. The washing process scratched the car and the videos proved that. The company admitted the damage but claimed that there was a treatment to the surface some months before (not true) and I washed the car too early, therefore they are not responsible for the several hundred dollars damage. I do not recommended them at all and have canceled the monthly subscription. Shame really. read more

I was very happy with the unlimited price BUT canceling the membership is not what it should be. I canceled my account with customer service the day I sold my car...BUT...continued to be charged!! I called back to have the call never answered and went to the website to cancel AGAIN! They now say I'm canceled again but who knows if I really am...and I can't get a refund for the monthly charge! Awful service, worse customer care. Car wash usually leaves you with the finishing details. If you get any damage, they "investigate", produce some "photos" with some photo shopped time/date stamp and then claim your insurance need to contact them... no reasons why, wont supply their insurance details. Ultimately, they would not repair the damage their wash caused. Their "customer care" is equally as bad. You either cannot get through to them, or if you do (lucky you) you will be treated with the most absurd customer care ever to be experienced. I had just completed my wash on July 4th and pulled into vacuum my car at the self service units. As I was about to begin vacuuming my vehicle the employees all disconnected the hoses for all of the units while people were still cleaning their cars. And I asked why are you doing this and the response from employees was that we are closing because it is 4th of July. I can understand closing early on the holiday, however allow the people who are there to complete vacuuming their vehicles. The employees were rude and totally disrespectful to customers. I've been coming here since I was a little girl with my uncle till now that I have my own car. The guys are always really sweet and friendly and don't mind putting in a little extra effort in their work. I have never had any complaints I come here every week for interior and exterior and I leave feeling refreshed with a clean car :) read more

A TOTAL SHAM. Called to cancel over the summer and didn't realize that I was still being charged 59.99 a month. Corporate Manager then tells me she took my call and I got a refund this summer when I called to cancel. The charges are valid she said, never mind that they not only didn't refund but continued to charge the higher amount that they acknowledged was incorrect. This is a belated review of my experience on Veterans' Day, 2020. Even during the COVID pandemic, the business showed its patriotism by not only offering free carwashes for several days, but also took out an ad in the Washington Post. The car wash went very smoothly, and the employees were very professional, so I left them a good tip. Nearby is a new set of free vacuum cleaners, which are very powerful. I would recommend this service highly, and as a good value. read more

Paid $20 for an interior clean. It took the guys 5 minutes to clean the car. I wash shocked they were done so fast. It was the worst and most lazy work I have ever seen. I usually get all our cars washed in New Hampshire Ave car wash in Langley park because they do an amazing job but sometimes when I'm in a time crunch and can't get over there I always settle and come here. I've been disappointed every single time. This place overcharges for such a crappy job. I'm totally willing to pay $20 if these people do a proper job. I don't care how crunched I am for time - I am never coming here. They also try to peddle a $29.99 plan for unlimited washes... yeah no thanks. I'm not paying for a bunch of lazy people to sit in my car and wipe down only the steering wheel. Useless. Don't waste your time at this place!!!!!! read more

HORRIBLE customer service! If they cause parts to fall off your car- because of THEIR car wash machinery- they go through the "motions" of having you complete an "investigation" report but ultimately- have ZERO intentions of REPAIRING a thing! They refer you to the fact that signs are posted...even though your car was 100% when you arrived- but less than 100 when you leave. Don't call for status of your filed case - you get the pleasure of speaking with a rude family member - who also happens to be the Manager- that tells you the owner cannot be contacted - after you have experienced unprofessional customer service by the "manager" good times. $15 for a mediocre standard car wash and they don't take cash, too much for too little. It was extremely crowded since everyone was trying to get the salt off their cars. I'll try Flagship next time, since they get better reviews. read more

My husband took his car there for a wash and besides doing a very poor cleaning job, they damaged the car. The windshield seal was partially torn off and one hubcap was left loose so that it rolled off when he drove and got damaged. Complaints went on deaf ears. The employees are auwful. DO NOT take your car there!! It will cost you far more than the amount they charge you for a poor and destructive car wash. I cringe to think they own SEVERAL other car washes in the area!! And now they opened Car Wash Coffee right next door..you bet we won't be trying that place judging by the way they run their car wash!! read more

I purchased a monthly car wash plan in October as they insisted sooo much. they never informed me that they will continue to charge my card. I just realized tho months of charges following that. Be mindful of this when they try to sell you a monthly package. Those Latinos working there do not explain any of that and is misleading as they are not notifying that they would be charging. Check your card for recurring charges and my best advice would be to pay cash at this place! read more

Goto flagship instead! This car wash does not work nearly as well. After a recent renovation things got worse, does not even wash off brake dust from wheels. I still am forced to use it once in a while since it's closer to my house, but I almost always regret it. I used to go to this car wash a lot. Now I go to Montgomery Hills. The last 2 visits I was in the area and went out of convenience. Today was my last visit. Twice by the same person who stands at the beginning of the wash (tall African American man)-- I was yelled at and he pounded on my car. He stands there with a big sign that says "Don't brake put in neutral". I followed his prompts to turn to the left to get the car on the tracks--the back left tire just did not make it onto the skid--I got yelled at to move up-- then back up-- then brake. I of course braked once I realized the tire was not on the track. Then he stands at my window with the sign yelling. I have never had a problem getting my car through this car wash before--ever. I don't come to get my car washed so I can get yelled at. I asked to speak to the manager Carlos after I got through the wash. Carlos seemed like he could not care less. Montgomery Hills on Georgia Ave. in Silver Spring is worth ever penny--don't waste your money at this one. I won't be back--ever. read more
