He gave me a few options and he had his coat on to head outdoors (on this freezing morning) before I could even get my wallet back in my purse. The reason for my visit today was to change the oil to my car. Being that I regularly change my own oil, I knew the exact filter model I needed and oil type for my car. Unfortunately, today it seemed like there was not a lot of inventory on the shelves, as a good part of the shelf was empty of oil filters. I went to the front desk to try to see if there were any additional stock outback. I was greeted with a staff member who was eager to help, but with English being his second language, we were having some issues communicating back-and-forth. We were eventually able to pull up a list of inventory of filters that would be compatible for my car that should be in stock in the store. (Said it had that "one" in stock, but no where to be found) After literally going through each row and looking at each box, I was finally able to find that "ONE" filter that would fit my car. (It was mis placed....off course) The staff did his best to help and tried to seek alternative makes of the filter for my car and went as far as trying to find other locations that would have the filter. Definitely I suggest that if you are planning to do any type of repairs to your car, always call ahead to see if they have the parts you need in stock before you make the drive over there. Very kind people here…read more I came in with a naive thought about car battery price. They kindly explained that average market price is now higher and offered to match the online prices elsewhere. (Most places would have scorned at my ignorance by now.) Then I asked if I can borrow their tools to change the battery out in the parking lot, and they lent me the tools. After struggling with a heavy battery and rusty screws in the parking lot for 30min (I'm really inept with mechanical stuff), one of the guys ran out to check on me as it usually took only 5 min. He helped me (even when he didn't have to) with the screws and even carried the battery for me. Even though it's a auto parts retail store, the service they provide is amazing.
