Unprofessional mechanics, very disturbing, took parts to have them install, Ball Joints, charged me 700.00 didn't install ball joints, asked for parts taken off truck, didn't get em, nor new parts, was told mechanic absorbed my new parts, and sold them, DID NOT INSTALL, on top of that removed disk rotors and used ball peen hammer on bearing hub and disk rotors, approx 4,000.00 in danage. Fuled complaints with consumer affairs, attorney general of NC, Governors office, craven county business license office, seriously considering legal action.... atorneys are expensive, incompetence, negligence and willful destruction of personal property that could have resulted in property damage, injury or death.... ntollerable, SHUT DOWN THE STORE....mechsnic left his snap on led light on engine when delivered, this also could have caused a negative situation. Randomly had a flat, they were the closest tire shop and thank goodness. They were so kind, fast and cost effective. 10/10 highly recommend.

My tire light went on so we stopped here to get the tires checked. I am from Florida and was on a road trip to see some friends. They checked the tires and assured me they were fine and didn't have any nails or holes. He explained with long road trips the tires can get hot and expand and leak a little air when they cool (when I stopped for the night at my families house). This can make the tire check light go on. He did say I need new front tires but could wait until I get home. Didn't try to sell me anything. And there was no charge. Nice guys, friendly and helpful. read more

Lacy & Brandon are great!!! Brought in my lowered TSX that needed an alignment and brake inspection and oil change. Was able to figure out the issues with my brakes and also alignment was good. Staff was very nice and easy to talk to and the shop itself was clean. Will absolutely go back for more work as it's hard to find a shop that does quality work at a great price. This place has not once, but twice let me come in on my lunch break to get my oil changed before having to pull a trailer 500 mile only to say the first time the could get it done in the next 15-20 minutes and I waited for almost an hour and a half and still didn't get help so I had to return to work after wasting my entire lunch time. Second time, I made an appointment to avoid this problem and was told they were taking an enterprise rental car back because it showed up 10 minutes before my appointment. Highly dissatisfied. 11/24/21 Kinston, NC; DA tech raised my car 5 ft. and proceeded to drop tire/allow wheel onto concrete floor -- permanently scarred face of my $400 alloy wheel. I watched it happen; no apology. Upon reinstalling tire/wheel, same DA tech used a shallow socket and left permanent deep indentations of air wrench in the face of the wheel. Worst garage experience in my 70 years! Awesome service!! On my way to Havelock for Work four hours away from home and my serpentine belt slipped. Lost power steering, totally blew my day. If I could give a 0 I would. Me (a female) and my 13 year old daughter are in town for a gun/knife show, we are 3.5 hours from home. We got a hole in our tire coming down and two Good Samaritans helped us plug it. Saturday after the show we got food and were going back to the hotel and our low tire light came on, it was 540, I saw this place was open and stopped. I was spoken rudely to and told someone could put air in it and that's all because they were closing. It was 20 minutes before closing time. I pulled in, explained my situation and the younger worker put air in it and said I'd love to help but my boss isn't letting me. I was in tears and desperate, the young man patched from the outside and stated he's probably get fired for doing that and let me on my way knowing I was in panic mode but due to his boss refusing me he couldn't do anything. So here I am far from home on Saturday and refused help. I sure hope one day bossman sir it's not your wife, daughter or family member stuck. I've called Walmart 17miles down the road and will try and make it there on my way home tomorrow for some help. I'm just appalled at how me and my daughter were treated in a emergency situation. 5 minutes before closing fine, 20 minutes prior is unacceptable! read more

I would not recommend anyone go to this place. Our boat trailer tire blew out in la grange on our way to havelock on Sunday around 3:00 pm. No where was open except Mr. Tire in Kinston. I called and asked if they had a tire and they said they did but that I would have to wait when I got there. We didn't have a jack so my husband stayed with the boat on the side of the highway in 89 degree weather while me and our 2 year old drove to oriellys to buy a jack. Then I drove back to the boat where my husband took the tire off and stayed with the boat again while I drove to mr tire. I get there and a man comes out and gets the tire. He comes in and tells me they don't have that tire and they only have car tires. I ask him if a car tire would work and he looks at me like I'm stupid and replies "no. That wouldn't work." Then takes my tire out to my truck and puts it in the back and I ask him if he knows anywhere else around that would have the right tire and he replies "you have a phone you can look it up" and walks back inside. Now let me just say, the tire had a little air let in it so we drove 20 mph back to havelock to NTB where they stayed open an hour late just to help us and put on a CAR TIRE because that's what was on it in the first place! I will NEVER be going back to Mr. Tire in Kinston. And I would encourage everyone else to avoid them. read more
